No one’s Pov

Changmin and Kyuhyun had been quite happy, going on dates, getting approval from their hyungs. Everything was perfect, or so it seemed. Their questions on Kyuhyun were still left unanswered. Kyuhyun was alive, that was all that mattered for now and it was all that he cared about.

Changmin and Minho was still enemies. After that punch, Changmin and the rest of them went home straight away. Yoochun and Kibum locked themselves in Changmin’s room as he explained what happened. All that left them was mouths and eyes wide open with even more concern for the younger one. They didn’t question on why Changmin hit Minho, it was self-explanatory. They were happy Changmin didn’t get injured though. 

They were confused at Minho's choice of words. Maybe something was going to happen. They couldn't risk getting anyone in danger, especially Kyuhyun. 

“Minnie? Are you ok?” Changmin looked up from his laptop, quickly closing it before looking up to see Jaejoong standing at the door. He looked worried at Changmin but gave him a smile.

“I’m fine, why?” He tilted him head a bit; confused to why Jaejoong thought there was something wrong with him. He seemed perfectly normal.

“You seem… how do I say it? Out of it?” Changmin shook his head and gave a small smile to Jaejoong to reassure him that nothing was wrong. For some reason Jaejoong couldn’t help but shake the feeling Changmin was hiding something but he didn’t want to push the younger in telling him.

“I’ll go and get Kyuhyun. I get to have the pleasure of taking the two of you to school today!” He threw his head up and cheered. Jaejoong left the room in glee. Changmin couldn’t help but chuckle at his umma’s silliness. He set his laptop aside and stepped off his bed. He was fully clothed in his school uniform as he walked over to his mirror; he looked at himself and brushed his hair with a comb. Today wasn’t really anything special besides Jaejoong and Yunho taking the two of them to school. It had been a long time since they were free enough to take Changmin to school and with Kyuhyun, it was an added bonus.

It had been a week since that encounter with Minho and Changmin. That meant a week of protecting Kyuhyun, a week of waiting and a week since Minho’s sudden disappearance. They found it weird why he suddenly disappeared. According to Yoochun, his name was still on the school record which meant he didn't transfer or anything. Kyuhyun on the other hand was worried sick and still is. He refuses to eat or sleep but after hours of convincing from Hangeng, Heechul and Changmin, he finally managed to eat something and sleep. Of course it helped that they told him that Minho went on holiday for a bit and is going to come back in a few weeks. A little white lie never hurt anyone. 

“We’re here!~” Jaejoong parked the car on the school driveway at the gate. Changmin walked out of the car first and quickly walked over to the other side to open the door for Kyuhyun. Of course an evident blush formed on the younger’s face as the older two watched in awe as their baby put the gentlemen phase on. It was a phase they rarely saw and from time it time it would still scare the other hyungs. It was because before one of Changmin’s amazing pranks, he would act very nice to the person he was pranking on before unleashing the devil. They had learnt to keep their guards up at all times whenever Changmin didn’t anything remotely nice to them for anything longer than a span of two days. Seeing him like this now was...weird. Yes, weird indeed.

“Bye Jae Umma, Yunho Appa.” Changmin waved goodbye as he grabbed onto Kyuhyun’s hand, making their way to the front gate only to be stopped by the sound of a low cough coming from no other than the older two in the front seat.

“You forgot something.” Jaejoong teased. Changmin sighed and rolled his eyes before making his way back to Jaejoong and giving him a kiss on the cheek and doing the same to Yunho.

“Good boy! We’ll be coming after school to pick you guys up with Yoochun and Junsu. Sungmin’s birthday is in a few weeks’ time and Heechul said he wanted to plan is as soon as possible so it will be perfect. Make sure to be here as soon as school ends!” Changmin nodded and quickly ran to Kyuhyun’s side as the younger giggled watching Jaejoong and Yunho driver away. He knew how his Heechul Umma liked to plan birthday parties and that they had to be perfect so if anyone was late to a meeting, they would surely get scolded by the diva.

"Come on! Let's go to class now." Kyuhyun nodded and gave another giggle. It was a sound Changmin loved to hear. He thought it was the purest, most angelic thing in the world. It was music to his ears. He don't ever want Kyuhyun to leave his side, they were going to get married, have kids and die together in old age. He had already thought of the perfect life plan.

Lunch was now present as the school bell rang. Students flooded the otherwise empty hall in an instant, making their way to the canteen. Durning the lesson, Kyuhyun couldn't help but stare at the empty seat beside him. Minho was still missing, or on holiday how his hyungs put it. He really didn't believe them when they said that put there was also a chance he was on holiday. He tried asking some of the teachers where Minho had gone to and all of them said the same thing. He was on early leave for a special holiday since his parents called up and asked for it. That put him at ease a bit but something was telling him otherwise. He packed him bag and stood up from his chair, stuffing the last book in his bag. Before he could close it, the vibrations for him phone can't to his ear. He took it put and saw the called id. It was Minho. 

He felt himself lighten up from the name on his phone. Was it really him? He really missed the younger. He wanted to call him before but Changmin didn't allow that and said that since Minho was overseas, it wouldn't work and I'll just be wasting my time. 

"Kyuhyun! You coming?!" Yoochun asked from the doorway with Kibum and Changmin next to him. He knew Changmin didn't like Minho a lot so he decided to keep this call to himself. He put his phone behind his back to hide it from their sight. The pine continued to ring and Kyuhyun prayed his hyungs would leave as soon as possible so he wouldn't miss it. This might be the first time in a long time, depending on how long Minho was gone, for the two of them to speak. He would hate himself if he missed it.

"I need to go somewhere for a bit. I'll be back in a few minutes. I just need to ask the teacher for some help." Yoochun shrugged and left with the others. Since he was only going to be with a teacher, nothing bad would happen. Being in charge of the schools, Yoochun knew every teacher on campus and every single one of their backgrounds and security checks for safety reasons. They never did hire anyone with a bad record, this way they knew everyone was safe. 

"See you later!" He shouted from the hall as they made their way to the canteen. Junsu had been waiting for them at their table a they got their food and sat down. 

Kyuhyun brought his phone back to him and pressed answer. Thankful that the call didn't cut off. 

"Hello? Minho?" 

"Hyung! Long time no speak!" He giggled when he heard the voice he missed so much. 

"Minho! I missed you! How come you never told me you were going on holiday?! You had me worried sick!" He gave a small pout which Minho could imagine him doing. A chuckle came from the younger's lips as the image of his hyung like that came to mind.

"Sorry hyung! How about this, I came back today and I'm currently outside school. Want to skip school and go have fun with me?" Kyuhyun thought about it for a while. It was only independent study next lesson. A lesson he could skip without falling behind in any of his subjects. Besides, he hasn't seen Minho for so long. 

"Sure! I'll be put in a second! Meet you outside the gates!" Quickly he threw his phone in his bag and closed it, growing the backpack on his back before rushing out of the classroom. He had never been so excited before and to finally see Minho was like a dream come true. He weaved through everyone in the hallway as it was still quite crowded, not hearing a voice call him from behind. 

"Hey! Kyuhyun!" The voice called out. Sungmin scratched his head and turned over to Ryeowook.  

"That was Kyuhyun just now wasn't it?" He questioned the younger.

"I have no idea. That person was running really fast. Maybe you were seeing things." Sungmin shrugged and made his way in the canteen with Ryeowook. 

"Maybe."

Kyuhyun panted as he bent down, catching his breath. A usual 7 minute walk from his classroom to the front hate was made in a record time of 3 minutes thanks to his running. He looked around and saw no one. He gave a small pout.

"Maybe I'm early..." He muttered to himself as his breathing slowly regulated. He looked around to try and find the younger one but he had no luck. 

"Hyung!" He heard Minho's voice and turned to the side. There he was standing a few metres away from him in a black suit, his hair brushed back with a bright smile plastered across his face. Kyuhyun found it weird why he was in such formal wear but didn't hesitate to run forward to him. 

"Minho!" He shouted as he ran towards him but the other stayed still and waited or him. Half way there Minho's smile suddenly turned into a smirk. He tried to stop but was too ate when a sting came to him from the bam of his neck. Before he knew it his vision went blurry and fell into another persons arms. 

"Min...ho..." He called before he out.

Kyuhyun woke up. The back of his head still in pain from the hit, his body still in slight shock. The room he was in was dark without any widows on either side of the wall, but in its place a large mirror spears across, he tried to get up but he was bounded to something. Suddenly a bright white light switched on from above causing him to squint a little as his eyes got accustomed to it. He looked around and found out where he was. It was a surgery room. He was bound to one of those movable chairs that dentists used during check ups. Next to the chairs were all sort of medical equipment a from scalpels to other higher tech things he didn't know the names of. He tried to struggle free but it was no use, the leave belts holding him to the chairs were way too strong for him. He started to panic, he didn't like it here and he didn't want to be here. He wanted to be at home wig his hyungs and back in Changmin arms. What happened? Where is Minho? Was it his doing? Why is he here? This place felt so depressing. It was as if...

"Hello my sweet Kyuhyun." His eyes widened as he looked to the front of him. The voice matched the image he was looking at. 

"It's... You..." 

who do you think it is?!
