Kibum’s Pov

I looked for Kyuhyun everywhere but he was nowhere to be seen, it was now lunch time, now that I think about it, how did I lose him? All I remembered was that he and Minho went somewhere just at the end of class since Minho wanted to go somewhere alone with him at the start of lunch. I let them two go since I still had a few questions to finish for maths while they had already finished everything, I’m sure they couldn’t have gone too far since it didn’t take me too long to finish my work… Kyuhyun did say he was going to come back when he and Minho was done.

15 minutes had passed and there was still no sign of him anywhere, he hadn’t come back to class and nor did Minho. I was starting to get worried, not to mention Changmin’s rage already, plus what would happen if he found out what happened. I sighed; resting my back on a random spot on the wall in the hallway as I tried to look for him before, hoping Kyuhyun would pass by with Minho. I tried to not think about what could be happening with him right now, closing my eyes as I did so, I tried to calm myself down but nothing was helping.

“Hey! Kibum!” I heard someone call me; I turned my head to the side, seeing Donghae hyung with his backpack on his shoulder, giving me a smile, he was waving his hand above his head, running over to me. He focused his eyes, obviously noticing that Kyuhyun wasn’t with me.

“Where’s Kyuhyun?” He asked, now standing in right front of me, looking around. I rolled my eyes, slightly annoyed at him, if anyone was going to tell on me to Changmin, he was going to be one of them.

“I’m waiting for him to come back.” I lied, crossing my arms, praying that he would just leave me alone instead of annoy me.

“Oh, I’ll wait with you.” He stood next to me, his back to the wall like me, standing on my right hand side while he looked around, whistling a slight tune as he did so. It was about 5 minutes until he finally decided to stand up straight and what I thought he was going to leave; he looked at me, just stood there and looked at me straight in the eyes,

“You lost him didn’t you?”  I gave a slightly awkward chuckle, looking away from his eyes as I did so, I know he was very good and telling if people were lying but I couldn’t help but lie since who knows, something might have happened and he lost his magical ability to tell if people were lying or not. That reminded me, I need to stay away from Jaejoong hyung and Hangeng hyung who was also really good at telling if people were lying or not. Well, most of us are but they are the professionals who were always correct and telling us apart.

“Of course no-“

“I know you did, don’t lie to me Kim Kibum!” I sighed once again, hanging my head down low before giving a slight nod. I heard a sigh coming from Donghae hyung before I heard his footsteps getting quieter. I looked up and saw he was walking down the hall on the right hand side.

“Where are you going?!” I shouted down the hall, confused by his actions.

“Going to find Kyuhyun.” He gave me a wave. I looked at his back for a second before running over to him; I guess staying in the same place isn’t the best idea ever. I followed him, hoping to find Kyuhyun soon. I couldn’t help but wonder how Changmin was able to keep up with him as he seems like a magnet when it can to trouble and since it was our life’s mission to protect him, I couldn’t just leave it like that.

After looking around for another 10 minutes, there was only 30 minutes left until the end of lunch, we finally found him, it turned out he fell asleep on the roof top, resting him head on Minho’s shoulder as he did so. Minho couldn’t call any of us since he didn’t know our number nor was he able to move. I guess I didn’t look hard enough. Minho smiled at us as we approached him, giving us a small wave as he put his book down, the one he as reading before we came up. I tried to see what it was he was reading put he put it down too quickly for me to see the name of it.

“Kyuhyun..?” I shook him a bit; he shuffled, not wanting to wake up as he gave me a slight whine. I sighed, thinking back to what lessons we had next.

“We have free lessons next, you can take him home if you want since he looked pretty tired, I’ll tell our teacher you and Kyuhyun had to go home. I’m sure he’ll understand.” I nodded at Minho, picking Kyuhyun up bridal style. Minho looked as if he was worried, looking over at Kyuhyun’s sleeping figure in my arms.

“Donghae hyung, you can go back to lunch, I’ll take him home.”  He nodded at me as we both made our way down the stairs of the roof top, leaving Minho behind since he wanted to stay at the roof top to read his book, once again, I just missed out on seeing what the title of the book was. It seemed interesting since he was so eager to read it. I followed Donghae as he was calling our driver to pick us up.

“See you at home; I’ll pick up any homework for your teacher.” He said as he ran over to the canteen to spend the rest of his lunch time, I smiled at him as he put his phone in his pocket after calling the driver.

“Thanks.”  I waited outside the gates, punching in the code to open it before stepping out of the school. Kyuhyun was very light despite his height, probably hasn’t been eating a lot since Changmin did lock himself in his room for a long time to rebuild the firewalls for the company software and now what has happened after we were meant to go on holiday for a bit.

It wasn’t long until our driver pulled up in front of our school, helping me open the doors of the car so I could put Kyuhyun in slowly. I sat inside, next to Kyuhyun before our driver closed the door. He drove us home since Donghae probably told him to, Kyuhyun leaned against me, resting his head on my shoulder as I d his hair.

“Umma….” I heard him whisper, I didn’t know if he was talking about Heechul hyung or Lady Cho but it was best to not think about her. She was no longer his mother, she never was and it would be best if she wasn’t here anymore.

After that day when Hangeng hyung and Heechul hyung brought Kyuhyun here, me, Changmin, Yoochun, Shingdong and Sungmin hyung was sent to look for Lady Cho. However when we reached their home, she wasn’t there. Kyuhyun’s door to his room was knocked down, everything was broken, and the whole house itself was a mess. There was no sign of her anywhere. We searched for the first month but still, there were no results. To this day, we still don’t know whether or she’s dead. Maybe we’ll never know, but even so, it’s for the best.

We knew what was happening to Kyuhyun, everything, we just didn’t have time to save him, nor were we able to pin point the exact location of them but we knew. On that day they were called in for relocation, Siwon hyung told me her eyes weren’t normal, she wasn’t like Sir Cho who we loved a lot, she was the exact opposite. Leeteuk hyung and Jaejoong hyung predicted that she was going to hurt Kyuhyun sooner or later, in one way or the other, even then were we not able to do anything, besides, we were too weak.

I picked Kyuhyun up slowly, not waking him up as our driver opened the door for me. He smiled and I smiled back in return, making my way to the front door of our house. I opened it slowly, struggling a bit but since the driver was parking the car, I didn’t want to bother him.  I opened the door and was met by silence, I closed the door with my leg, trying to close it as quietly as possible but that didn’t really work out, causing Kyuhyun to shuffle closer to me while sleeping in my arms. Boy, the kid can sleep.

I went upstairs, proceeding to Kyuhyun’s room when a something bumped into me, making me fall back but luckily I was and to regain my balance. I looked down to see what it was that hit me when I saw Changmin in his wheel chair.

“What the hell are you doing?!”  I strained my voice, trying to shout at him but at the same time, trying to keep quiet.

“What are you doing with Kyuhyun and why are you going to his room with him sleeping in your arms.” He looked at me, slightly pissed off sine he wasn’t the one with Kyuhyun and I knew it but I really didn’t have time to deal with a pissed off Changmin right now. I decided what was best was to answer in a quick and straightforward way then ditching him and finally let Kyuhyun sleep on his bed rather than me holding onto him, not that I re4ally minded.

“Look, I was only trying to help, now that you know, move out of the way!” I kicked his wheel chair away, continuing my way to Kyuhyun’s room. I could hear the wheels on Changmin’s wheel chair behind me; he was clearly following me to Kyuhyun’s room. I decided to let him be and come in with me instead of slamming the door at his face like I would usually do to him.

I put Kyuhyun slowly on his bed, covering him with his blanket with Changmin’s help as I sat down on a chair next to his bed, Changmin obviously beside me as we looked at Kyuhyun’s sleeping figure for a bit, not talking at all.

“Talk” He broke the silence, I sighed, this must have been the third time I sighed today, more than usual and it wasn’t even 2:00pm right now! It hasn’t even been the first day of me looking after Kyuhyun instead of Changmin and I’m already stressed out, the two are going to be the death of me.

“He fell asleep so I took him home.” He nodded as I talked, not looking at me but at Kyuhyun. I paused for a bit, thinking if I should ask about Minho, I decided to take a stab at it.

“What’s with that Minho guy?”  I saw his body stiffen a bit at his name before relaxing again. He clearly didn’t like him but I wanted to know why since I felt more or less the same way.

“Don’t trust him. Avoid him like the plague and defiantly do not let Kyuhyun be alone with him.” His voice was firm, he didn’t move as he told me this.

“Why not? I know there’s something about him that doesn’t make me feel particular safe but Kyuhyun seems to like him.”

“That’s even worse, the more Kyuhyun sticks with Minho, the less likely he’ll be willing to let go.” I nodded; making a note in my brain to watch over this Minho guy, maybe even get Junsu hyung to check up on his background a bit, I’m sure Hangeng hyung will be able to help too.

“I’ll try, but it won’t be easy.”

“Who said it will be easy.” He smirked at me, punching me lightly on the arm. I chuckled a bit, folding my arms. We heard a knock on the door, both of us turned around to see who it was.

“Come in”

MUAHAHA! I finally updated! I don't know if you guys know but I'm in college now! Have to work hard so I won't be updating a lot!! I managed to do a lot of homework this week so I let myself have a break for now! Oh yeah, I've also got myself work! I work at a hair salon~ I work at the weekends so it's going to be a bit hard since I work until every late into the evening! But I don't mind since the work isn't very hard :3 I love learning new things!!

Plus, this is to save up for the INFINITE concert which I have just found out is happening on the 27th on November!! I have LOADS of time to save up xDD CAN'T WAIT!! LAKSFHALKHFLAS However... it's on a WEDNESDAY! AKLFHASLKFHALKFH -Dies-
