“Mehrong- Wait…” in my pocket my phone vibrated, seems like a call was coming in.

“Hello boss, what’s up?”

From the receiver I could hear the sirens of police cars and in the background a hell lot of commotion.

“The police got a call saying that someone was missing, then they arrived at the scene and a car accident occurred. And the driver is the missing man.”

I listened intently to what my boss was saying, next I quickly collected the story and enquired, “So who is he?”

“Park Chanyeol.”

How could he hit someone? He looked too happy, too innocent to have committed a hit and run. Furthermore, after I had found out the truth that he was the driver, another shocking truth came into light: the person who was hit was Mr Lee Soo Man, CEO of SMCreation.

I took a stroll along the road where the bakery was, clear headed and aware that I might run into Baekhyun. Still I continued my leisurely walk.

As usual, I munched on the freshly baked melon bread. Baekhyun settles beside me and watches me eat.

“Is me eating that interesting to watch?” I squeaked.

Baekyun coughs out a chortle, “Seems like it, I enjoying seeing people eat what I bake. And I read the news about your latest case, don’t pressure yourself. The truth will come.”

“Easy for you to say, but how and when?”

“I don’t know, but soon and don’t worry till that time I’ll be here to help you.” His face reveals a gentle smile, warm as always.

Out of the blue, he sings the first line of Ailee’s Heaven, “Ni-ga i-nneun gose nado hamkke hal-ke... Ni-ga ganeun gose nado hamkke kal-ke...”

It sounded awkward hearing him sing in an octave lower but still, I allowed myself to be entranced by his singing.

I still did not know how I would solve this, someone please tell me.

Someone please, help.

sorry for the extremely short chapter update.
i am typing this at Singapore Time 12.47pm
and it is already Lunar New Year.
been having all the family reunion dinners, and today will be a long day.
church --> reunion lunch with my dad's family --> reunion dinner at my house with my mum's family

and when i say family, its like more than 10 people. especially from my mum's side, 15 cousins and 6 uncles, 6 aunties
very very BIG reunion.
