A Child's Game

April 18, 1996

When Luhan woke up, he was greeted by the sight of warm light flooding though a tiny window at the top of the room.

He sighed, before getting up and taking a quick stretch and heading towards the closet where he pulled it open. He filed through the clothes that were available and pulled out his brown suit before lying it down on his bed.

"What's my schedule today?" Luhan wondered out loud and tried to remember what day it was. Then it hit him. April 18, 1996. Luhan glanced down at the clothes, before grabbing it and chucking it into the closet, slamming the doors shut and then resting his back against it and sliding down to the floor.

Waking up and seeing his old room must have confused him, must have triggered his past memory, because for some warped up reason, he thought he was still Sehun's servant and was about to get changed in his servant clothes. The thought of him doing that again made Luhan go cold and he pulled his legs up against his chest ini nervousness. There was a knock on his door and Luhan, not prepared to hear it, jumped in shock before sighing out loud.

"Who is it?" Luhan asked.

"Me." Instantly, the door flew open and in strolled Oh Sehun, still as confident as ever with that same driving passion as he closed the door behind him, dragged out a chair and sat on it while facing Luhan.

"Ma-" Luhan froze. What do I do? I can't call him Master, but I don't want to call him Sehun, Luhan panicked. Sehun didn't understand his panic and furrowed hs eyebrows.

"Look, I think we need to talk about...this. I get the idea that we were close, but no one really told me much of anything else," Sehun stated and Luhan gave him a wide eyed blink.

"I... What happened to you?" Luhan asked and Sehun had to back track to try figure out how to answer that.

"Ah...I was in an accident. Apparently, I was reading something as I crossed the road and ha, before I knew it, yeah," Sehun replied and Luhan dipped his head. He sort of had an idea of what Sehun was reading.

"So you couldn't remember me afterwards, or Hyuna?" Luhan asked.

"I couldn't remember Jongin either," Sehun shrugged. "Apparently, it's some kind of specific amnesia, where my brain tries to delete things from my brain that give me stress, like English for example."

"I...gave you stress..." Luhan sighed and Sehun shook his head.

"I'm sure you didn't. You seem like a nice guy."

"You're so stupid, because couldn't you tell from the awkward atmosphere last night that something was not right?" Luhan spoke and Sehun growled in frustration.

"You and Jongin are so alike!" Sehun cried and Luhan wondered what on earth Sehun was talking about. "Okay, how about this? This afternoon, I'll take you out somewhere that we've been before together. See if we can recollect my memories. I've sort of remembered Jongin, but only our childhood days."

"Not a good idea," Luhan replied with a shake of his head.

"No, it's a great idea. Be dressed by this afternoon or I'm taking you out in that servant uniform," Sehun said and nudged his head at the closet Luhan was leaning against. Luhan sat up straight in shock and Sehun laughed as he stood up from the chair and strolled out of the room.

Luhan didn't know he was shaking until the door had closed behind the taller male. He reached out with one hand to stop himself, but that didn't work either. It was a sore sort of feeling in his body, but it was stab in the heart. Seeing Sehun so close...he wasn't prepared for that. He didn't expect Sehun either to upfront ask him outside of the house.

But then he remembered where Sehun wanted to go and he suddenly was overwhelmed with this unexplainable weight in his chest. He gripped his shirt as his eyes began to sting with fear. Luhan would never be able to take him to the tree. Never. He was going to make sure that they were never going to go to the tree. He had to take Sehun far away from anything that could remind him of Luhan. In fact, maybe Sehun forgetting everything was a good idea. Luhan can just get up and leave at any moment - no harm done. But the thought of doing that pained the latter. He couldn't make himself leave the house, this house, the house he had lived for the majority of his life. So he thought about taking Sehun to the market or maybe just down the street.

Sehun paused outisde the door, the smile on his face slowly drifting off like it was too heavy for Sehun to bear. Although his head could not recall the memories, his heart remembered Luhan's face, Luhan's voice. He could feel it, he could feel a sort of humming pain that he chose to ignore, but could not forget. He knew it from the moment he saw Luhan's face for the first time. The air in the house was odd as well, like as everyone was expecting some big bang to happen. Were they supposed to run into each other's arms and embrace each other like good old friends? No, Luhan wouldn't have fainted. Then were they supposed to be at each other's throats. No, Luhan wouldn't have fainted. It was because of his little fainting act that had made Sehun spin out of focus. No one even wanted to tell Sehun a thing. Was it so bad or good between the two boys that they didn't dare utter a word of the past?

"Today, I will find out about who we were, Luhan," Sehun whispered to himself.

"Master Sehun, what are you doing?" a small voice asked him and he instantly thought 'Kyungmi' but when he looked it was only Jessica, another maid. He could feel the excitement washing off his face and Jessica picked up on it too because her smile strained.

"Just...thinking. You perhaps know something about what happened?" Sehun asked.

"About what?" Jessica questioned.

"Luhan and I," Sehun replied.

"I'm sorry, Master Sehun, but it appears your mother is calling me." Jessica quickly spun around and dashed off down the corridor, leaving whatever she had brought to Luhan's room on the floor.

"I didn't hear anything," Sehun whispered after her retreating figure. Then he glanced down at the ground and saw a magazine. He bent down and picked it up, then looked at what the front cover was.

He almost dropped it in shock. Luhan was on the front cover, his eyes golden and outlined with smudged khol, jet black hair unruly and stylishly wild, and wearing a classical white suit, immaculate. This was not the Luhan he expected. This Luhan was confident and had such a warrior spirit, in comparence to the boy who was sitting in his room, having a heart attack just listening to Sehun's voice. So Luhan was a model from wherever he came from? That's why he spoke good English then, right? He couldn't peel his eyes off Luhan's eyes. Why hadn't he noticed it before? Sehun also tried reading the English, but his stupid brain had completely eliminated every English word he had ever learnt part from 'hello' and 'thank you'.

"Hey, Jessica, I heard-" Luhan's door flew open and Luhan caught Sehun's gaze. Immediately, Sehun glanced down at Model Luhan's eyes and then back up to real Luhan's eyes and compared them. Exactly the same. It still shocked him. Luhan glanced down to where Sehun was looking and he flushed bright red.

"Ah...that..." Luhan mumbled and reached out and pulled it away from Sehun's hands.

"Were you a model in America?" Sehun asked.

"Um, yes. For five years," Luhan replied, not meeting Sehun's gaze.

"I can see why, Luhan. You're very handsome," Sehun complimented. Luhan didn't look very happy with the compliment. He looked tired, unpleasant and troubled, so Sehun took a step back. "You made a good choice by leaving here and going there."

"You really think so?" Luhan asked. He wanted Sehun to remember everything at that moment. He wanted Sehun to suddeny drop to the ground, burst out in tears and scream at Luhan about what a bastard he's been to leave Sehun alone like that without an explanation. He wanted Sehun to tell Luhan to never leave again. He wanted Sehun...

"Mm. You really changed. So this is what you looked like with dark hair," Sehun chuckled. Luhan didn't laugh along.

"I should dye it back then," Luhan whispered.

"Oh no, don't get me wrong. Your hair is truly amazing. Never seen something like that before in real life," Sehun persisted.

"We'll go to the hairdressers this afternoon then," Luhan decided and Sehun sighed.

"Well, at least you remembered this afternoon. Okay, get dressed and all. I'll be waiting already," Sehun replied before bowing and walking away. When Sehun had turned his back, Luhan couldn't help himself.

He stepped out and slowly bowed ninety degrees towards Sehun's retreating figure.

"Yes...Master Sehun," Luhan whispered as he felt hot tears rolling down his cheeks. "Yes, Master Sehun."

"Mother, I'm going this afternoon with Luhan. Tell Krystal that she only needs to air out my room," Sehun said as he stepped into the dining hall. His mother and father was sitting their, reading the newspaper when Sehun entered, and when he mentioned his plans to them, they both froze and slowly glanced up at him.

"What are you planning to do? Where are you going?" Mr. Oh asked.

"I'm going to get him to take us to our places so that I can remember," Sehun replied casually.

"Are you sure you want to do that? Why don't you just make new memories?" Mrs. Oh suggested and Sehun caught onto it. But he decided not to push it.

"Maybe another time, mother. I just wanted to tell you so that you won't be wondering where I'm going to be today," Sehun replied.

"Why don't you go and call Jongin? Tell him your plans in case he decides to stop by," Mr. Oh said and Sehun nodded in agreement.

"Of course. No one's using the phone right now, right?"

"Yes. It is free."

"Thank you." Sehun made his way through to the kitchen where the phone was located. He picked it up off the receiver and quickly dialed Jongin's number. There was three rings before someone picked up. The familiar voice of Jongin's butler picked up.

"Kim Residence," the butler spoke, "may I ask who's speaking?"

"Oh Sehun. Can you please hand the phone to Jongin?" Sehun asked.

"Young Master Sehun? Of course, just wait a moment." There was a thud as the phone on the other side was left onto the table and Sehun waited patiently. After a minute, he could hear a rustle as Jongin picked up the phone.

"Sehun? What do you want?"

"Good afternoon to you too, darling. Look, I'm going out with Luhan today. Recollecting memories, you know? So don't call the house or come over either. I won't be home."

"Who says I go to your house to see you?"

"Well screw you too."

"Maybe when we manage to get past first base."

"Seriously."

"Hang up now. No wait, I will." Then the line went dead. Sehun stared at the phone for a few seconds before grinning. That's my boy

Jongin rested his hand on the base of the phone, his mind turning as he tried to remember what Sehun had just said. He gave a small chuckle and eventually slumped down onto the ground by the wall. His butler walked past and when he saw Jongin, he quickly apologised and turned around and went through another room.

Jongin couldn't believe it. He tried to get Luhan but lost him to Sehun. Then he got Sehun, but lost him to Luhan. What kind of luck does he have? Maybe there was really something like destiny between those two. He thought this bitterly as he pitied over himself. Should I just give up? Should I just do as my father wants? Everything that excites me in life is no longer mine.

Jongin didn't know why, but he had a weird feeling that when Sehun and Luhan get back, things were going to be different. Different as in, Jongin will no longer be part of the picture. He's just going to be the boy in the past who meddled with everything and messed everything up. He will never be remembered as the boy who tried, who just wanted a bit of love and excitement. Maybe that was his destiny.

"Mas- I mean, I'm ready," Luhan called out as he walked into the hall. Sehun spun around and headed towards the voice and when he caught sight of Luhan's clothes, he did a mental pause. Luhan looked absolutely stunning. His hair was bed messy, but raked through with fingers, he wore relaxed jeans with a large button up shirt that was ed at the top, exposing a bit of his collar bones. So this was what it was like to be around a model. Sehun whistled and Luhan slightly grinned as he shuffled his feet on the ground in embarressment.

"You look fantastic," Sehun complimented.

"This was the most average clothes I owned..." Luhan mumbled and Sehun raised his eyebrows in disbelief.

"Then I can't wait to see the rest of your suitcase," Sehun remarked and Luhan once again blushed and turned his eyes to his shoes which were just plain sneakers.

All of a sudden, a split second image was planted in his mind and Sehun audibly gasped. It was a short burst of memory, but the colours lingered in his mind. It was simple. Just Luhan, blushing. But this was a different Luhan. A much more fuller, natural Luhan, who wore the house servant clothes and had a bit of dirt by his ear. But what shocked Sehun was how close Luhan's face was in his memory. Too close, really close. It took him by surprise to be honest.

"Um, we should go," Luhan spoke and he shifted his feet. Sehun broke out of his shock and grinned, deciding to keep this little memory to himself.

"Mm. Where should we go first? You're the one who remembers," Sehun said.

"We should go to the market. We went there a lot." Lies, Luhan bitterly thought as he nudged his head towards the door and began to head towards there first.

"Tell me about it, okay?" Sehun said and rushed up to catch up to the elder boy's gait.

"We um, used to buy lots of bubble tea," Luhan began to say as they made their way past the gates. Sehun nodded and made a small noise that he heard him. "You liked...chocolate."

"That's right! You really were my servant!" Sehun burst out and laughed. Luhan's eyes widened and he coughed before regaining his composure.

"Are you questioning my past position?" Luhan tried to tease and Sehun grew a large grin. He didn't answer.

"Tell me more. Go on."

"Um...Young Master Eunhyuk and Young Miss Hyoyeon used to come with us," Luhan tried and he didn't know it, but Sehun was taking mental note of that. He was going to have to ask them later on.

"They did? Then they know about you too," Sehun said.

"Yeah...I think," Luhan said and he was being hones this time. He actually didn't know if Sehun had ever confided with his friends about their relationship. Luhan told Kyungmi about it, so it would've been fine if Sehun had done the same with his own friends.

"Did we go out often?" Sehun asked.

"No," Luhan replied.

"Why not?" Sehun asked. "I thought you said this was where we made memories."

"One," Luhan replied, remembering the birthday incident. Luhan knew that he wasn't going to show Sehun any place that was truly important, so the market hang out was going to be fine.

"Oh. Why did we only go there once?" Sehun questioned. Luhan side glanced, groaning inwardly at Sehun's curiosity.

"Because I did not deserve to go," Luhan replied, being quite honest now. He was borderling things now, but he couldn't stop himself. Because Sehun had now forgotten, he had gained some confidence about it.

"You're a model."

"But back then, I was your servant and I had more...servant things to do."

"Let me guess. The past me had dragged you along? Maybe I forced you to come? Got Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon to kidnap you or something?" Sehun laughed at the last suggestion but Luhan only pinked.

"Yes," Luhan admitted and that only made Sehun laugh even harder.

"I knew it!" Sehun cried and Luhan couldn't help but smile a little bit.

"But I left a bit too early than you wanted me to, which was direspectful of me. I apologise."

"No no! Don't! It's in the past, Luhan!" Luhan's heart thumped at the sound of his name coming out of Sehun's mouth again. Oh, it was so painful.

"But you got angry at me afterwards. You were not pleased."

"You know, for someone who had lived in America for five years, I expected more...casual behaviour from you," Sehun pointed out.

"I am, but only in English. I can't do that in Korean, it's much too...unusual," Luhan replied. "Turn at this corner here."

"Luhan...where are you taking us? There's nothing that way," Sehun said and Luhan's eyes widened when they arrived at the market. Or more like, where the market used to be

"What...wow," Luhan mumbled underneath his breath.

"A lot of things happened in five years, Luhan. They probably just got moved to the mall," Sehun said with a shrug of his shoulders. Sehun sounded like as if he was sorry for Luhan, but in all honesty, Luhan was quite pleased that the place had gone. One less place of memories.

"Then we can just skip that place out," Luhan quickly said.

"Oh no, we are not. Come on, we'll just go to the mall. While we're at it, we can schedule that hair appointment," Sehun replied and Luhan's shoulders dropped.

"I guess so," Luhan said unsurely, but he took one look at Sehun's determined face and he didn't know whether to feel assured or frightened.

"So, what is America like? How are the girls?" Sehun asked, feeling slightly weird being a gay man and asking about girls, but he assumed Luhan was straight.

"Um...they're nice, why?" Luhan replied.

"Just nice? You didn't date anyone? Was it a model thing?" Sehun questioned and Luhan could hear the interest in his voice.

"Ah, you meant it like that. I don't like girls like that," Luhan replied, sounding surprisingly confident.

"Are you sure you're ok with telling me that? I mean, technically for me, it's the first we've met," Sehun nervously replied as he rubbed his nape. However, he did take note of Luhan's uality.

"Well, you like men too, don't you?" Luhan asked and Sehun was taken back.

"How...how do you know?" Sehun asked. Did Luhan and Sehun tell each other a lot of things when they were together? Were they that close? Or, was it was Sehun thought it was...?

"Were we boyfriends?" Sehun deadpanned and Luhan choked on his own saliva. He turned to Sehun with large eyes and shook his head.

"We never dated," Luhan replied, which was sort of true. Sehun had never asked Luhan to be his boyfriends. They just kind of skipped that stage and just became lovers or something.

"Okay..." Sehun replied, feeling some sort of icky feeling inside him. He suddenly started getting angry at himself. He wished that he knew the reason behind all the hard emotions. "Look, we'll just catch a taxi from here. You okay with that?"

"Mm. Anything is fine."

"A Korean mall," Luhan whispered underneath his breath as he stared up at the large building. It was almost immaculate and prideful, as it stood at a pretty impressive height. It must've been built recently.

"Pretty asian, isn't it?" Sehun joked as he grabbed Luhan by the arm and started to drag him in. Luhan's impulses kicked in and he immediately wrenched his arm away from Sehun's grasp, making Sehun turn around with an upset look.

"I-I mean, I'm dirty, you shouldn't touc-" Luhan stopped himself as he realised that he was not Sehun's servant anymore. When he looked up, he saw that Sehun's look had softened and he reached out again and placed his hand on Luhan's shoulder.

"You're not dirty, Luhan. You were never dirty in the past," cue the memory of past Luhan appearing in Sehun's head, "and you aren't dirty now. Don't worry."

"I apologise, my servant instincts must have kicked in," Luhan replied and bowed. He again, had to stop himself. Instead, he resorted to sheepishly smiling as Sehun laughed away and pulled him towards the entrance.

Immediately, the smell of fresh air conditioning filled Luhan's lungs and he smiled as it reminded him a bit of the new library that was built new where he stayed in America. Sehun side glanced at him at that exact moment and he couldn't help but follow the smiling trend. There were three stories annd it contained around about sixty shops in total from Luhan's maths. There were a lot of shops. Luhan instantly spotted the hair salon, but he tried looking away from it. But Sehun quickly glanced in the direcion and smirked when he saw the salon.

"Come on, Luhan. Didn't you want to dye your hair?" Sehun asked.

"I changed my mind?" Luhan chuckled nervously, but Sehun was already grabbing him again and pulling him towards the shop. The ladies at the counter giggled at the sight of Luhan and Sehun, which was slightly odd in Luhan's case.

"They're looking at you," Sehun said and although Luhan wanted to deny it, because come on, he was Luhan, but he had to admit unfortunately, that the stares were directed in his direction. Must've been the hair.

"This is...weird," Luhan replied. He looked at Sehun and furrowed his eyesbrows. Sehun was perfectly handsome as well, so why weren't they looking at him more?

"Just ignore them. You're probably used to doing that," Sehun replied and Luhan half nodded. Then they were at the counter and Sehun was sweet talking the ladies and mentioning Jongin's name. When they took a seat on one of the couches, Luhan turned to Sehun.

"How's Jongin?" Luhan asked.

"Ah yeah, we're great. We've been going out for the past four years. The first year was a bit patchy because everyone kept on telling me we didn't like each other, so I didn't want to go out with him unless he asked me himself," Sehun replied. Luhan nodded his head, feeling his heart plummet. They're going out

"So you had no idea of who he was?" Luhan asked.

"Not quite and I still don't know now. Suppose you have any hints for me?" Sehun asked. "I mean, you were by my side 24/7, weren't you? How long were you with my family?"

"Since the age of three, but I didn't start working for you until I was five. Um, it was pretty rough between you two. He used to call you 'dog' and you used to call him the devil," Luhan chuckled, remembering those times. Sehun's eyes widened.

"That's new," Sehun commented, but his eyes were asking Luhan to tell more.

"Well, you guys knew ecah other from a young age, but you didn't like each other that much. When you were younger, you sort of got along, because you were kids," Luhan said and Sehun nodded.

"Jongin told me that bit," Sehun replied.

"And-"

"Luhan, your appointment is ready," called one of the stylists. Sehun cursed her underneath his breath before he patted Luhan on the back and Luhan gave a small nod. He lifted himself from the seat and walked over to sit in one of the swivly chairs. The lady ran her fingers through his hair and grinned.

"Um..." Luhan mumbled.

"Sorry, it's just...are you that model?" she asked and Luhan's mouth turned into a big 'o'. So the woman recognised him?

"Ah yeah. I am," Luhan replied with an embarressed grin.

"Oh my gosh, you're so handsome. I'm so honored to do your hair. What would you like me to do?" she asked, her fingers beginning to move faster in excitement.

"Just dye it back to a natural colour, thanks," Luhan replied.

"But your hair is so lovely!" she cried.

"Shame, right?" he asked and she coughed before going silent.

"Hold on. I'm just going to prepare the colour," she quickly said and disappeared into the back room. Luhan was going to pull out something out of his pocket when he glanced into the mirror in front of him and saw Sehun staring directly at him. He didn't dare turn his gaze away. Sehun just lifted his hand and gave a small wave. Luhan didn't respond but peeled his eyes away and directed his look at the sheet of paper in his hands. Just a bit of information on his next shoot. It was asking him to be in China by week. Thank God. Being around Sehun was suffocating.

But it was odd, you know. As much as Luhan didn't want to be around Sehun, he craved Sehun's existence and he was so hooked on it, that he didn't know if he was supposed to leave and never come back or if he should tell Sehun everything and then leave and never come back. Beign around Sehun still had Luhan wrapped a bit, like as if he was living a dream. No, even worse than a dream. It felt like he was reliving the past. It was all coming back to him. Five years of preparation, of building up his confidence, of changing his personality and character, so that he could once again face Sehun with confidence. It was all crumbling down, just because of a silly little accident that just happened to wipe out almost all his memory.

"Okay, just lay back and relax. Tell me if you start feeling weird, ok?" the stylist asked when she came back. Luhan gave a practised nod and the lady immediately set to her work.

About fourty-five minutes later, the sound of the pager timing Luhan's hair went off and the stylist came rushing back. She helped Luhan out of his seat and towards the sinks where she doused his hair gently with warm water. She tried to be extra careful with the massaging part and Luhan knew it. It was odd for him, to be given such nice treatment in Korea. He was used to it in America, because he was a model, he had a job there, but in Korea, it was like he had left behind the servant he was and he had entered back into that servant once again.

Then he was hoisted up and then taken back to his old seat where the lady blow dried his hair and then styled it to a natural side fringe, just like how it was when he entered the shop. He stared at himself, looking at the dark brown hair he was born with and tears sprung to his eyes. The lady was gone by then, so he was jsut stuck to looking at himself.

I haven't changed. I haven't changed a bit, Luhan cried to himself as he stared at his reflection. Those tired eyes, those eyes that had seen the past so clearly, those eyes that reflected the sadness he had bore all the years. His skin was oddly pale, not as how he had remembered when he first sat in the salon seat. No, it was the pale colour he used to be when he worked for Sehun. Why was he so pale? But the hair...for some reason, changing it back to it's normal colour had Luhan feeling like throwing up.

"Luhan? What is it like? Do you like-" Sehun approached him and stopped just behind Luhan's seat. He paused and stared into the mirror, looking at Luhan through there. Luhan feared the worst, that Sehun had suddenly remembered everything. He could almost hear the gears turning in Sehun's mind.

Sehun felt his body go rigid at the sight of Luhan in the mirror. He couldn't move and it scared him because he didn't know why. It was crazy, but his arm was itching to reach out and run through Luhan's hair. The feelings running through his body was intense and wild and unexplainable, but he couldn't step back, nor could he step forward. Then all of a sudden, memories began to burst through his mind like a rocket cannon, each memory going off with a loud bang. Sehun's hands reached up to his head and his nails dug into his scalp.

Luhan staring at him as they both sat on the couch in front of the fire, raw tears streaming down the boy's face.
Luhan shaking his head as Sehun tried to feed him a glass of wine.
Luhan at Sehun through an open car window.

They were not happy memories. Sehun knew it. They were not happy at all. He did not feel any sense of gratification, pride, gratefulness nor even amusement from replaying those memories. He felt stiff, but a raging fire was burning within him. Sehun felt angry. He felt angry, used, and hurt. But why would he feel those things? Luhan was a good person. He was a kind, shy, modest, and scared person. What kind of power did he have to make Sehun feel like that?

"I hate it," Luhan whispered as he got up from his seat and walk right past Sehun. Sehun was still plastered to his spot, not moving, still imagining Luhan was still sitting there. It was odd, feeling so much about a person who he barely knew. But then he spun around and saw Luhan's shocked looking expression from the entrance and he could see that Sehun wasn't the only one who was shocked to the core.

"Sorry Luhan," Sehun apologised when approached the elder. But Luhan only shook his head.

"I was wrong. I like it, I was just...shocked," Luhan mumbled.

"Tell me about it."

"What?"

"I mean- You look different!" Sehun shouted out, feeling like he didn't come across very persuasive. Luhan gave him a shifty look before sighing and shifting his feet.

"Maybe we should go find that bubble tea shop now."

"Yes! Let's go!"

"Luhan, you've been out for four ho- Luhan..." Jodi whispered Luhan's name when she caught sight of him when he returned home. "Your hair..."

"I..." Luhan was still for a moment, but then he caught sight of his reflection on a dark surface and he immediately teared up. "I'm such an idiot. It hurts, Jodi! What should I do...he...I..."

"Please calm down, please. Don't cry. I'm just...you look exactly like you did when we left here," Jodi said and Luhan nodded his head right away.

"No . I always see myself, the old me, whenever I look at anything reflective and each time, I feel like I'm that servant again and do you know how much that scares me?" Luhan confessed and Jodi approached him and placed an arm around him. They heard a cough behind them and Luhan and Jodi spun around to see Sehun still standing there. Panic spread onto Luhan's face before he remembered that they were speaking in English and everything was still fine.

"I don't want to ruin your moment, but just wanted to let you know that I was still here, so I'll be making my way back to my room, bye Luhan," Sehun quickly said as he excused himself from the room and disappeared down through the hallway that led to his bedroom. Luhan stared at his back, unconsciously admiring how broad Sehun had gotten, but he had to shake that out of his mind. Now was not the time to think.

Suddenly, a ringing sound rang through the house and both Luhan and Jodi turned towards the kitchen area.

"Master Sehun! Wait! There's a call for you," one of the maids called out as she tore across the hall and towards Sehun.

"You're not allowed to run in the house," Luhan reminded her and she frowned.

"You don't know anything," she replied, raising her nose in the air.

"I beg to differ. I was your Master Sehun's old personal servant. Take back what you said quick before the ceiling falls on you," Luhan replied and the girl was speechless. Not having anything more to say, she turned away with an embarressed red shade on her face and quickly walked after Sehun. There was a bit fof discussion down the hall before Sehun reappeared and headed towards the kitchen where he took the call.

"Yah, you bastard. I told you not to call the house... Yeah, yeah, I'm home now, so what?" Sehun's voice was heard. The maid from before ran over to another maid and began to gossip with her.

"It's Young Master Jongin," one of the girls said. "He wants to take Sehun out tomorrow. Aren't they cute?"

"Yeah, but ever since that American model came, it's been sort of awkward between those two, don't you think?"

"Huh? How?"

"Oh, you're new, that's why. Well, when you know the full story, everything will make sense."

Luhan turned to Jodi and gave her a desperate look.

"We've got to talk about this."

HOLY SHAIT GUYS ONE MORE CHAPTER TO GO. But also, omg, EXO's comeback, ayyye?? I've already watched the dance practise, which you may say it's wrong, but I don't really care. I'm going to buy the album and watch the mv anyway and the dance practise again if they release another one, which they usually do.

Onto the comments:

jihyun246 - Allo new reader!!! Unfortunately, only one chapter lef to go. Can you believe that???

hankim - greeeeAaaaAaAaAAAAAAaaaaattttttTTTttttt!

berna04 - for this one, haha, well Jongin's first intentions were just to have fun, but then it kind of became genuine.

Bright5 - I would LOOOVE for Luhan to show Sehun the letter, unfortunately, the letter was lost during Sehun's car accident after Luhan left.

EXO_SHINee - I laughed so hard at your comment. Chapter 25: Where's the painting??? Chapter 26: Oh wait, there's the painting. You're funnnnnnyyyyy!! XD

Dyo_Little_Girl - I can't wait for the Kris fix either. But unfortunately, it won't be centered around him completely. But he will have a playing role, haha.
