Over the weekend, Minho managed to stay out of trouble. So I got a lot of rest. 

On Monday, I saw a new face at school. 

"Taemin oppa! Would you like a massage?" asked Hara. By now I knew the name of a few of my classmates.

"No thank you," he said. He shrugged all the girls off and sat quietly in his seat. Which happened to be next to mine.

 I noticed he had a cast on his arm, signed by his friends and he had a bruise on his face. He looked at me as I walked closer to him and sat down.

"I've never seen you around here before" he said to me.

"I'm new here" I said.

"Oh, I'm Lee Taemin," he held his hand out.

I shook it like a good sport, "Oh Minyoung, nice to meet you."

Wait a minute. I gasped.

"You were the one in the accident!" I said, "That's why you have a cast!"

He nodded, "Yeah, I crashed into a post office on my way to school. My brakes were damaged."

"No they were tampered with," I looked up and saw Key and Jonghyun again, behind them was another boy, too focused on eating chicken.

"Hi hyung!" he and his hyungs gave each other a group hug.

I cleared my throat to announce my presence.

"Hyung!" Taemin pointed to me, "This pretty girl is my new partner!"

"Hi" I waved, "I'm Oh Minyoung."

"We've met," said Jonghyun, "She's a friend of Minho's."

"Oh really?" Taemin turned to me.

"We're acquainted," I admitted.

"I'm Lee Jinki, but you can call me Onew," said the guy with the chicken. 

"Hi" I said back. My eyes turned to some one who sat  in front of me.

"Good morning Minho," I said. 

No reply.

"Minho are you okay?" I asked.

"Don't even bother," said Jonghyun, "First he almost kills Taemin, and now he ignores a friendly person."

I saw Minho's shoulder tense up.

"Hyung, stop it," said Taemin.

"Yah! Why don't you apologize to Taemin and Minyoung!" yelled Key.

Minho's hands balled up into fists. 

'Minho calm down,' I sent him.

'They make me so angry' he said, 'Misjudging the situation and all.'

"It's okay," said Taemin, "I don't believe it's his fault."

I scanned Minho's feelings; guilt, remorse, regret.

"He's probably just in a bad mood," I said, "Let's just leave them alone."

"We brought you this as a welcome back present," Onew pulled out a small cooler.

Taemin placed it on his desk and opened it. His eyes and my eyes widened at the same time, "BANANA MILK!"

He looked at me in awe, "You like banana milk?"

"Are you kidding me?" I said, "I LOVE banana milk."

He was elated, "Really? Here!" he handed me a small bottle.

"Thank you!" I said. 

Minho sighed loudly and sank back into his seat.

"Would you like one?" chimed Taemin. 

Both Minho and I looked at him surprised. 

"N-no" he stuttered, "I-I am fine."

Taemin shrugged and continued sipping on his milk. 

He was like a human angel. Able to forgive so easily. 

I sat with Taemin and his friends for lunch. I found out that they called themselves SHINee. Onew and Jonghyun were a grade above, while Key was in our same grade, but another class. 

"Minyoung" Taemin smiled and fluttered his eyelids, "Will you sign my cast?"

I nodded, and signed my name on his cast with a pink highlighter.

"So which part of California are you from?" asked Key.

"Los Angeles," I said.

"Have you met a lot of stars?" asked Onew.

Dead ones. "Yes," I answered.

"Waaah! So cool!" said Taemin.

My phone beeped. I pulled it out and saw the screen flashing red. 

"Minho!" I said.  

I ran out to find him, with SHINee on my tail.
