Nina POV

As the days went on, things got trickier. Lay and I were never alone. There was always some other member around, tagging along; totally oblivious to their third wheel status. It was tiring and weird. Never before had I dated somone in this way… Totally secretive and such… It was weird… But I didn’t blame him. It was just such a strange experience… But I know he wasn’t happy either.

Lay and I had just sat down infront of the T.V., hoping for a few minutes alone, even if it was just while watching some show. It was something. But not long after we sat and were finally comfortable, Xiumin came bounding in. He looked at the clock and squeeled.

Shoot.

I forgot…

He grabbed the remote and jumped for the couch, wriggling himself in between Yi Xing and I. -.- Really, Xiumin? Really? I sighed as I scooted over a bit to make room for him. He changed the channel to his favorite drama and hunkered down like some crazed fangirl, I mean boy, to watch it. Lay scoffed and turned his head to the side, avoiding looking at the T.V. and Xiumin who was already totally absorbed into his show. I could tell he was irritated. He turned and glared at the side of Xiumin’s head, but Xiumin was totally oblivious. I cracked a smile and quickly looked away before Lay saw me. He huffed and stood up quickly. Xiumin tipped to the side slightly since he had been squished so tightly between us.

“Yah~~~” He whined slightly as he straightened himself, his eyes never leaving the screen. I smiled and Lay stuck out his tounge childishly,

“Mehrong~” I stiffled a giggle as Xiumin just ignored him.

“Omo!” Xiumin grabbed onto my arm and stared at the screen. Something exciting had apparently happened. Lay zeroed in on the skinship Xiumin was displaying with me. I smiled up at him and gave him a look. He knew what a skinship monster Xiumin could be. I’d been here for months; this was not something new and there was no need for him to get all bent out of shape. He eyed me and pouted slightly before leaving the room. I sat there for a moment, watchimng in amusement as Xiumin became totally wrapped up into the predictable plot that was his beloved K-Drama. I eventually sighed and shook my head, slowly detangling myself from his grip. He whined slightly as I stood up and left him alone, but quickly forgot me as the main characters suddenly kissed.

I walked into the kitchen where I found Lay moping around trying to find something to eat.

“Yi Xing~” I came up behind him and rested my head on his shoulder. He froze and I saw him look at me out of the corner of his eyes. We just stood like that for a minute, but then he turned around to face me. I looked up at him wide eyed. We’re in the dorm kitchen; a wide open area. Anyone could walk in at any second… But those thoughts melted away as he smiled at me. Oh gosh, that cute little dimply smile. I might’ve melted right there and disapeared into a pile of goo if he hadn’t reached out and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me in for a hug. I sighed and leaned my head against his shoulder as I hugged him back. See, this is what was normal right now; not all of this sitting awkwardly side-by-side, surrounded by other people, totally unaware of the current, awkward situation.

“Y-Yah!” I snapped out of my daze and froze at the sound of someone’s voice. I looked up wide-eyed trying to figure out some sort of explanation, but I had none. That moment had no explanation other than the truth. But luckily we were sparred the awkwardness because when we looked up all we saw was Kris staring at us, totally incredulous. “Yah! If you’re not telling them yet, at least don’t run around the dorm acting all coupley and stuff.” He lowered his voice so that the sound wouldn’t carry. I smiled, embarassed, and nodded. Lay just stared at him and smiled. He leaned forward with a cheeky grin and kissed me on the cheek. Kris rolled his eyes, “Okay, just because I know doesn’t mean you can act all… gross infront of me. Ew,” He shook his head and left the room. I was blushing madly at Lay’s impromptu display of affection infront of Kris. He laughed as he saw me blush,

“Aigoo~ Its too bad the others don’t know. Your blush is too cute~” I squeeked and quickly untangled myself from him and ran away to go watch that drama with Xiumin. At least then Yi Xing wouldn’t be able to embarrass me anymore…

Or so I thought…

Lay took my running away as some sort of challenge… Ugh! I had just sat down again next to Xiumin. Tao had come in and joined him since I left and now they were both staring at the T.V. intently. I looked up as Lay approached; a smirk distinct across his face. Oh no. I scooted closer to Xiumin, trying to escape him. He just plopped down next to me,

“Nina~” He cooed as heleaned over and wrapped his arms around my shoulders, totally aegyo filled. I froze; cold with panic. What do I do?!?! Ottokae!!! I looked down at Lay’s face. He was smiling cutely, but when I looked at him he smirked quickly, only to replace it a secong later with his innocent deer-eyed look. I rolled my eyes and sat back, squishing him against the couch. “Oof!” He moved around a bit and placed his head on my shoulder; continuing to lean on me. Whatever. As long as no one says anything. I mean, I don’t mind really… >//<
