Nina POV

I entered EXO K’s dorm. I had my own key to each and could come and go as I pleased.

“Hello?” I called. A moment later, D.O. stuck his head around the corner.

“Hi,” he smiled slightly.

“Hi,” I smiled and waved slightly at him. He ducked back around the corner and I followed. He entered the kitchenand resumed putting away a few dishes. “Where is everyone?” I asked.

“Oh, they all had stuff to do. Some had schedules, others practice, and some just went out for a bit.”

“What about you?”

“Mmm, I felt like staying inside for the time being.” I nodded, understanding. He finished what he was doing and we both just stood there for a moment in silence. I tried thinking of something to talk about. Then I remembered something that I had heard about him.

 “D.O., you like to cook, right?” I asked, leaning my elbows against the counter.

“Yeah,” he nodded. I thouht for a minute,

“Would you like to do some cooking with me? I want to make something for you all. Something that I grew up with in America. It’ll be fun.” He smiled,

“That sounds like a great idea. I’ll be happy to help you.” I brightened,

“Really?”

“Sure! I had nothing to do anyway.” I smiled,

“Great! Wanna go shopping to get what we need?” I asked. He nodded and ran off, only to reappear a moment later with a hat and sunglasses.

“Ready!” He said. I smiled and followed him out.

We arrived back at the apartment about an hour later with all of the supplies that we needed. We went in and sat down all of our supplies. “Oh, before we start we should probably call the others and make sure that they all come.” He nodded and pulled out his phone.

“I’ll get K if you get M,” he said as he dialed the first number. I nodded and grabbed my own phone. I automatically dialed Lay’s number first. To be honest, I had almost memorized it by now. I didn’t have to wait long because he picked up quickly.

“Hey.” I smiled at hearing his voice.

“Hi.”

“What’s up?” he asked.

“Oh, well D.O. and I were going to make an American meal tonight for everyone: something I grew up with. So, we thought that we should call everyone and let them know.”

“Oh! Okay!” I could tell that he was surprised. D.O. and I were both shy, so we had an awkward start with eachother, but today had already allowed us to grow closer.

“So, I guess be at EXO K’s dorm by… 6:30, if you can.”

“Okay! I’ll be there!”

“Oh, and are you with any of the other members?” I asked,

“Yeah, I’m with Luhan ge. I’ll tell him too!”

“Okay, thanks.

“Bye~”

“Bye!” We hung up and I began choosing the next member to call. Hmm… Kris? Ehh, might as well. I pressed call,

“Hello?” he answered. I told him the rest of the information. He was with Tao so that left me with Xiuminnad Chen left to call. I ended up calling Xiumin, but he was with Chen so it ended up not mattering. He was extremly excited about the whole idea. I laughed as I hung up the phone.

“Oh, Noona can you call Kai for me? Suho hyung won’t stop talking so I’m not done yet.” I laughed and nodded, finding Kai’s number in my phone.

“Yobuseyo?” he answered. I told him my spiel and he agreed that he would indeed be there. I was about to hang up when he stopped me, “Noona. I’m curious… Who did you call first?”

“…Why…” I asked, suspicious.

“No reason… Just wondering.” He said this sweetly. I frowned but went on and told him anyway,

“Well, I was supposed to call EXO M, but Suho oppa apparently wouldn’t shut up, so D.O. asked me to call you.”

“Okay. So, EXO M. Who’d you call first?”

“Well,” I thought about it for a moment, “I think I called Lay.”

“Hmm… Okay. Thanks Noona!” he called cheerfully. We said our goodbyes and hung up. D.O. had finally managed to get Suho off of the phone and had finished calling the others.We then started cooking

Kai’s POV

I got off of the phone with Nina and immediately called Lay. “Hello?” he answered.

“Hey, so I have some info for you.”

“What?” he asked confused.

“I was just talking to Nina Noona about diner and I decided to ask her who she called first,”

“And?” he sounded more excited now.

“She said that she called you first.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. I called you right away to spread the good news.”

“Thanks. But… What does it mean…?” I shrugged,

“I don’t know. That she thinks of you first? You’re important to her?” He was silent of a moment, then,

“Yeah, I guess so. Thanks Kai.”

“No problem. See you later.”
