You were sitting in the dressing room of your boyfriend’s group EXO-M, tapping your foot against the foot nervously. Why were you waiting here? You were waiting for your boyfriend Tao to finish performing and for him to come and see you of course. But what was making you anxious was that you were waiting to see your boyfriend, in China. Just yesterday, you were fed up with the fact that you haven’t seen him for almost a month and you were missing him desperately. What made you decided to jump on a plane to China also was that last week Tao had some time off and decided to talk to you on Skype. You weren’t expecting it, but you felt so happy that he actually remembered his promise to keep in contact with you. As the conversation was going on and on, you started to notice Tao becoming stiff, and started talking quieter. The next thing you knew, he was tearing up, quickly whipping away his tears and smiling at you through the webcam. Tao crying was nothing new, every time he did cry in front of you made you just as sad as he was, but this time you could actually feel your heart breaking.

You couldn’t understand to why you were feeling such anxiety. Even though it has been a while since the two of you have seen each other in person, nothing much could have changed. He still loved you like crazy before he left back to China again right? You broke out of your thoughts once you heard their fans screaming through the television, and hearing them outside the door. Their debut song ‘MAMA’ started to play, your eyes already fixed on your boyfriend. Your eyes widened, your heart stopped beating for a split second. He looked so different. Can a month do that much to a person? The music stopped and the fans screamed louder than before as they finished singing and dancing, making them walk over to the side of the stage for a quick interview. As you expected, Tao stood right beside Kris during the whole interview, and your mouth instantly dropped. Kris was a tall person, everyone knew that. You were always embarrassed standing beside him, seeing he is almost a foot taller than you. But what shocked you was how tall Tao was. As he stood beside the leader, they were almost the same exact height. I guess a month really can change a person.

The interview was now coming to an end, and the members all said their goodbyes and were heading off the stage. Your breath became quicker, heart beating faster than ever. Will he be happy to see you? Will he be mad that you came here unexpectedly? Just as you stood up from the leather couch, Lu Han came bouncing in the dressing room, stopping on his tracks the moment he saw you.

“___ah!” he screamed, running up to hug you. Even though you missed your boyfriend dearly, you admit you missed his band mates as well. The rest came in one by one, leaving Tao to come in last.

“Lu Han why are you sc-“ he started speaking, but then he saw you were in the room. Before he could even yell out your name in excitement of seeing you, you were already hugging him with all your might. He picked you up and spun you around, squeezing you and kissing you. You could feel tears starting to form in the corner of your eyes, happy to see Tao after such a long period of time and you also felt relieved that he was happy to see you too.

“Yah! Get a room you two!” Xiumin exclaimed and everyone laughed along. As Tao was still holding you up, he looked over your shoulder and gave s a glare and you giggled at his response. Tao then looked at you and gave you a smirk, then ran out the room, closing the door behind him still holding onto you.

“What are you doing?!” you shouted, laughing at how excited your boyfriend seemed. He quickly walked down the hallway and finally let you go, placing your feet back on the ground, grabbing onto your cheeks and began kissing you. His lips gliding over yours never felt so perfect. You then broke the kiss, feeling the need to breath; he laughed and resting his forehead on yours.

“I missed you” he mumbled, pressing his lips onto yours again. After gazing into Tao’s eyes, you noticed the way his body was positioned. He was leaning down to you as if you were a child. You blushed and looked away from him.

“What’s wrong jagi?” he asked, holding onto your hand.

“You’re too tall” you mumbled, avoiding his gaze on you.

“What? If you want to see tall, go see Kris” he said, laughing after. You sighed; of course it wasn’t his fault. You were still very embarrassed with your height difference.

“You’re right, I’m just too short” you said, giving him a small smile as you were distracting yourself by fixing your boyfriend’s shirt’s collar.

“Well… you’re not the tallest…” he whispered, but he was loud enough for you to hear him. You slapped his chest and pouted, making him laugh and wrap his arms around your waist again.

“___-ah, who cares if you’re shorter than some others?” he asked.

“It doesn’t change anyone’s feelings about you” he explained, giving you a light peck on your nose.

“I still love you” he said. You smiled at his nice words and got on your tip toes and wrapped your arms around his neck.

“I love you too” you said, giving him more kisses before you were interrupted.

“Hey love birds, we’re leaving now” Lay announced as the others were already walking down the hallway in the other direction. You both laughed as you started walking down the hallway holding each other’s hands.

“I’m so happy you’re here jagi” Tao said, hugging your shoulder tighter.
