“Dad, who’s my new private lesson teacher gonna be?” I asked, sipping my coffee.

“Mm, I’m not sure yet,” he said absentmindedly as he ate his breakfast.

“Could I have my old private teacher?” I asked. It was a test.

Dad stopped mid-chew, then slowly swallowed. “Mrs. Kang? You want her again, Sohee?”

“No, Mr. Shin,” I said steadily, watching his reaction carefully. I could see the wheels turning inside his jacked up mind.

“Are you regaining your memory, Sohee?” he asked, a fake smile plastered on his face.

“Maybe,” I said lightly, standing up from the table. “Who knows. Maybe I never lost my memory.”

I left just in time to see him slam his fist on the table.

I went up to my room and pulled out my phone. With shaking hands, I typed in the string of numbers that had popped up into my head a few days ago. After a couple rings, the receiver picked up.

“Hello?” it was the same husky voice was Yongguk, the head of the CC Entertainment company.

“Hi,” I said quietly. “This’s Sohee.”

There was a moment of silence before he asked, “How’d you know my cell phone number?”

“I… I’m not sure,” I bit my lip. “I just… remembered it. But… can we meet? I need to discuss something with you.”

“Okay,” he said. “Could you come to my office again?”

“Alright, I’ll be there within thirty minutes,” I said. I hung up and took a deep breath. I shakily pulled on a jacket and headed out. I reached the CC building and went up to the top floor.

“So, what’d you want to discuss?” he asked, sitting across from me in the chairs.

“Could you… help me regain my memory?” I blurted out. I knew he was a stranger, wait, was he a stranger? But still… I needed to take my chances.

“And how would you like me to do that?” he asked calmly. He was surprisingly more composed than the first time I’d seen him.

“I’m not sure,” I admited.

“How about… how about we play a little game?” he suggested. “You ask a yes or no question and I’ll answer it to the best of my ability.”

“Alright,” I sighed. Finally, I was getting somewhere. “So, there was a carcrash?”

“Yes.”

“But I didn’t get my amnesia from the carcrash…” I said, remembering Dr. Baek’s words.

“Yes...”

It was time to get more serious.

“The Ahn’s are not my family,” I said quietly. “And they weren’t in the carcrash with me.”

After a moment, he nodded without meeting my eyes.

“Jaebum is also my fake boyfriend. I met him for the first time after my carcrash,” I said.

“Yes.”

“Myungsoo… was in my past. Someone named Myungsoo,” I whispered. The name brought so many emotions to my mind. Emotions I were unsure of.

Yongguk nodded slowly.

“And you…” I looked into his eyes. “I knew you since we were very young.”

Yongguk didn’t move, just stared back at me. But I knew it was true. It was all starting to make sense.

“You’re my brother.”

“Myungsoo… was in my past. Someone named Myungsoo,” Sohee said softly. She looked so pained when she said his name. I nodded slowly.

“And you…” she stared into my eyes. “I knew you since we were very young.”

I froze, locked in his stare.

“You’re my brother,” she finally said, no question or doubt in her voice.

Suddenly, she gasped, cringing into herself and covering her face with her hands. Her breathing was ragged and she was shaking slightly.

“Sohee? Sohee?!”

Sohee~

“Sohee? Sohee?!” I heard his alarmed voice distantly. But I was some place else. Some place far away.

Every memory, every flash back, they all came rushing to me. But this time, the faces were all clear.

Dad.

Mom.

Yongguk oppa.

And finally, Myungsoo. The boy I grew up with. The boy I’ve fought with almost every day of my life. The boy who would help me beat up s. The boy I loved.

“Oppa,” I gasped. “Oppa… oppa…”

Tears flooded my eyes as I stood up and threw my arms around Yongguk’s neck.

“Do you… do you remember?” Yongguk asked, his voice shaky. “Do you remember me now?”

“Yes!” I cried out. “I remember everything. I’m Choi Sohee, your younger sister.”

Yongguk hugged me tightly and smoothed my hair until I calmed down.

“Shh, shh,” Yongguk said, wiping the wetness away from my face. “Stop crying. You're ugly when you cry.”

“I never cry,” I muttered, roughly wiping the tears away with my sleeves. “But whatever, tell me the full story. Please.”

Yongguk sighed and leaned back, “Mom and Dad… died on impact from the car crash, but you and I survived. I knew it would be dangerous, so I did the only thing that would keep you safe; I erased your memory. And for obvious reasons… I had to tell Myungsoo you were dead. After the car crash, I had to work my off to keep the company alive and it’s finally starting to steady out. Myungsoo’s gonna debut under a boy group in a few weeks; to help the company. He knows you're alive…”

“Can I… go meet him?” I asked hesitantly. “Please?”

“Don’t you think you should take this slowly?” Yongguk sighed. “I mean, you just regained your memory, like, five minutes ago.”

“No,” I said firmly. “I want to go see him.”

He sighed again and shook his head with exasperation. “He’s in his usual practice room. If you can't remember where that is… then you can't go until you remember.”

I rolled my eyes and stood up, “I remember.”

I briskly walked out of the office, walking the familiar path to Myungsoo’s practice room. I reached the room. It was the same room I’d been standing in front of before Yongguk had pulled me away the other day. It all made sense now. Everything.

With a shaky hand, I rested my hand on the door, feeling the vibrations from Myungsoo’s loud music. I closed my eyes, preparing myself to see my old friend again.

Myungsoo~

As I was dancing, I noticed someone standing in front of my door. Again? I turned down the music and walked over to the door. I hesitated for a moment before I pulled the door wide open.

I froze.

Sohee.

Was standing.

In front of me.

Her eyes slowly opened and she stared steadily back at me. Her lips pulled back into a small smile and she said quietly, “Hi.”

“S-Sohee?” I choked out. “Is this really… you?”

She suddenly jumped forward and wrapped her arms tightly around me.

“Yes dummy, it’s me!” she laughed happily. “Really Myungsoo, I’m back.”

My ears were ringing and I felt myself lose my balance.

“Whoa!” Sohee exclaimed as I stumbled to the ground. She went down on her knees next to me and frowned. “Are you alright?”

I pulled her into my arms and hugged her as tight as I could. “It really… is you.”

After a moment, Sohee whispered,” Ow… it hurts.”

I loosened my grip on her and looked at her face. It was definitely her.

“Do you… remember everything?” I asked hesitantly.

Sohee smiled, “Yeah.”

“So you remember everything?”

She nodded slowly.

“Then you also remember this…?” I asked, a smile tugging at my lips as I slowly leaned in. 

lol... did not think everything would just... happen all of a sudden. HAHA... i fail as an author. i do not know how to keep to my plan sheets... oh well.. i need to go write my essay. SHOOT ME NOW. D:
