The next morning you couldn’t help but wonder is Niel kept his words *But I did read his mind* No one in the school treated you differently so you relaxed a bit. You saw L.Joe and his friends walking your way. You tried to turn but they caught you. “Hey ____!” You froze. You turned around and met Niel’s face in front of yours. You stepped back a forced a smile. “Stop worrying! I’m really not telling anyone, I’m one myself!” For some reason, you seemed to believe him. “How do you know ____?” L.Joe asked. “We bumped into each other yesterday” You responded. L.Joe nodded and headed to their lunch table. “Come with?” Niel asked you. *I guess so. I trust him anyways* You smiled and nodded.

You and Niel walked over to the table. Niel patted the seat next to him and you hesitantly sat down. L.Joe gaped at you but you ignored him. Niel held his hand out in front of you. You gave him a confused look. He just shrugged “Friends?” You smiled and shook his hand. Niel and brightly smiled and ruffled your hair. L.Joe gave you an unbelievable look. “Hey! I asked you and you rejected me! How came you accepted his?!” You shrugged “Because we both have something in common, we both love making fun of you!” You and Niel high-fived while L.Joe pouted. *Well it isn’t a complete lie*

You learned many things about them. They named themselves ‘Teen Top’ and they’re really fun to hang out with. You aren’t completely friends with all of them though, just Niel. *Careful ____ don’t get too close with them. You still only trust one of them and that’s Niel. For now you still can’t trust them* You sighed. While you were mentally lecturing yourself, you were oblivious to the fact that L.Joe was staring at you. You snapped back into reality. Your vampire senses were tingling, signaling that someone was watching you. You casually looked around and found L.Joe staring at you with much interest. You mouthed ‘what?’. L.Joe innocently smiled and shrugged. *Suspicious much?* But you just shrugged it off

L.Joe would occasionally steal glances at you. You would sometimes catch him looking at you by the corner of your eye. You grew uncomfortable and kicked his leg. “Ow!” L.Joe yelped, making everyone else jump. You tried hard to hold in your laughter but failed miserably. *er* L.Joe glared at you but you imitated him by innocently shrugging. L.Joe couldn’t help but laugh at how cute you are.
