Taehyung was nervous.

He was standing in front of a big house with a lovely garden, and a foreign car in the garage. The area was nice, it looked clean and expensive, but there was no feeling of arrogance or high-class attitude. Two women passed them and greeted him. He greeted back. 

„Let´s go in.“

Taehyung hesitated.

„Hyung, let´s make a deal. If you don´t like it or feel uncomfortable, you can leave again. I will not stop you or bother you again if you don´t want me to. But try it. Okay?“

Taehyung still hesitated.

Suddenly Jungkook reached his arm out.

To him.

He pointed at his hand. „Take it, and we go in, or turn around and leave.“ Jungkook´s eyes were piercing into his own.

Taehyung started trembling. He bit his lip.

Suddenly he felt a push at his back and stumbled forward, right into the open hand of Jungkook. When he tried to find his balance again, he just grabbed it.

Jungkook started laughing.

Taehyung turned around. A boy was standing behind him. 

„I have no idea, who you are, but my brother seems to like you. Just come inside, okay?“ he smiled at him.

Another honest and warm smile.

„Hyung, this is my younger brother. Choi Soobin.“

Taehyung wrinkled his forehead. Different surname?

Before he could even react, Soobin grabbed his other hand, and the two brothers dragged him into the house.

Jungkook was nervous. He hoped that it would go smoothly.

Taehyung was standing in the living room. 

Jungkook sighed. „Sit down.“

Taehyung just stubbornly shook his head.

„You are such an idiot. You won´t dirty the couch!“

Taehyung just stared at him, shaking his head.

Jungkook got angry, but suppressed it. „Will you sit down, when I put a blanket over the couch?"
"I guess..." Taehyung mumbled.

„TADA!“

Jungkook just giggled, when he saw Taehyung jumping at the sudden voice.

Soobin had come in, an oversized coffee mug in his hand. He passed it to him. He put cookies on the table and his feet right beside it.

„YA! Legs down, babo!“ Jungkook snapped at him.

Soobin blushed and sat down properly.

Jungkook was happy.

Knowing that Taehyung was in his house and not the damn park felt good.
He thought the first step was done when he walked towards the bathroom and got a blanket. He put it over the couch, and Taehyung sat down.

Taehyung felt lost in the living room.

It was neat, and everything was clean. A lot of books were on the shelves. A light fragrance of lemon tickled his nose.

He felt something on his shoulder.

Soobin was sitting next to him and scratched a little piece of dried mud off his jacket.

„Wow, you ran a lot. Got your jacket dirty.“ he smiled at him. Before Taehyung even knew what was happening, Soobin pulled his jacket off his shoulders and walked toward the bathroom.

„I´ll put it in the washing machine!“ he heard him yelling.

Taehyung hid his face in his palm. The shame overwhelmed him again.

„Back in a second.“ he heard Jungkook saying, going upstairs.

Great.

Now he was alone.

„I figure that you are Kim Taehyung?“ he heard a voice behind him. He immediately jumped off the couch and brushed the blanket, afraid it would be dirty.

A man was standing in front of him.

He was short. A little chubby. But he had the same smile as Soobin, Jungkook´s younger brother.

„I am Jungkook´s uncle, Choi Jongin. He lives with me. Nice to meet you. You can address me with Uncle too. The boys do it anyways.“ He bowed.

Taehyung almost hit his head at the couch table when he bowed even deeper.

„What happened to your face?“ he wrinkled his forehead, and came closer.

„N...Nothing.“

„HE GOT INTO A FIGHT!“ he heard Jungkook yelling from upstairs. Taehyung was close to begging him to come down again.

„You did? Sit down there. Let me look at it. I am a doctor.“

When Taehyung didn´t move a muscle, he grabbed his shoulder and pushed him down, causing Taehyung to yelp in surprise.

„Let me get my glasses...“ The... uncle scanned the table, grabbed them, and put them on.

„Turn your head a little.“

Damn, kid, come down. NOW. A voice in his mind was screaming.

„Taehyung-ah, turn your head, let me look at it. You´re bleeding on your head.“

„Please... don´t touch my hair.“ he whispered. „I didn´t wash it for a while...“ he hid the tear that sneaked out of his eye and secretly caught it.

„Jungkook told you that I am working with kids, right? On the street?“ He felt the uncle´s hand in his hair,  through it. He squeezed his eyes.

„Yes...“ he mumbled.

„Why would I care about washed hair or not? You are important. Not your hair, kid.“ Taehyung stared at the floor.

„Not in my world...“ he mumbled.

„I live in your world too. I meet them every day. Nice kids. A group of punks at the south station near the park.“
Taehyung was surprised. He knew them too. It was the group that had allowed him to sleep in the house. „I hang around with them. Sometimes.“

„I know.“

„How do you know?“

„They told me. We are sea....“

„UNCLE!“

Taehyung turned around and saw Jungkook on the stairs. Angry. Tensed.

„What I mean is, that we talk a lot. About the kids on the street. I think I caught your name once or twice.“ Jungkook's uncle stuttered.

He saw that Jungkook relaxed. This day was just too confusing.

„I can´t treat it like this. The blood is everywhere in your hair, and it is already dried. The bathroom is upstairs. Take a shower.“

His pride didn´t crush. It vanished. 

„I didn´t mean it in a wrong way. But I need to treat that. I don´t want to hurt you
