Taehyung woke up.

It was morning already, people everywhere. That was unusual for him.

He sat up just to bend to the other side. He prevented his fall with his arms. He was dizzy. He felt sick.

He shook his head a few times.

„Oppa!“

He tried to get a clear mind. His sight was blurry.

„Oppa!“ he heard the voice again.

He looked to his left. A little girl was standing there. He was surprised.

It was the girl that had tried to protect him. He had something in her hand.

„Hi.“ he smiled at her. „Are you okay?“

She nodded.“Dad said to give this to you. He said you would be here.“

She put a bag in front of him.

„Mom is waiting! Bye!“ she waved and ran off.

Taehyung grabbed the bag and was surprised.

It was a bowl of ramyun. Rice. Small egg rolls. And a note.

Didn´t see you this morning. I hope it´s not cold.

Taehyung smiled.

He unwrapped the bowl. Two eggs.

„Thank you for the food.“ he whispered.

Jungkook was tired. He slowly stumbled down the stairs. Hit uncle was smiling at him. „Good Morning.“

Jungkook just waved. „I am dead. There is not a single muscle in my body that does not hurt. I always forget the pain the next day when we go to the resort. Where is Soobin?“

„He is sulking in the kitchen.“ his uncle giggled.

„Why?“

„He is angry that Taehyung didn´t come home tonight. He said that it´s not good to be alone. That he could get sick. That it´s essential to take care of his body. His typical five minutes when he blesses us with his sixteen-year-old wisdom.“

Jungkook giggled and walked into the kitchen.

„Good morning.“

Soobin didn´t react.

He slapped his head. „Greet at least, babo.“

„Morning.“ he mumbled.

Jungkook poured himself a coffee and sat down next to his brother.

„Are you worried?“ Jungkook asked.

„No.“

„Why are you staring out of the window?“

„It´s nice.“
„It´s the same sight as yesterday.“

„I liked it yesterday too.“ Soobin mumbled.

„Soobin-ah, you were the one that told me not to worry. To give him time.“

„Maybe he is sick. Or cold.“

„That could be true. But didn´t you tell me to see it from his perspective? That he would come home if he wants?“

„I guess.“

„Come one, let me kill you with the new computer game. You´ll stand no chance against me.“

Soobin brightened up immediately.

„Never! I am the god of the new game.“
„Prove it.“ Jungkook laughed when Soobin grabbed his hand and dragged him upstairs.

Taehyung tried to catch his breath.

He was trembling, his heart racing. This was the third time today that he had to vomit.

„Maybe I just got a cold...“ he whispered.

With a shaking leg, he sat down on the street. His head was spinning. He couldn´t stand up; he lost his balance every time he tried it.

He clenched his teeth.

If somebody attacked him now, he would stand no chance. And to make it worse, he was not even in his territory. He had walked in the west part of the city before he felt that his condition had worsened.

He put out his new phone but hesitated.

Another wave of pain rolled over him, and he dialed the number.

„Hello?“ a voice answered.

„Something is weird.“ he whispered.

„Are you sick?“

„I don´t know.“ Taehyung had trouble speaking.

„Where are you?“

„Westside. Near the Line 4 station.“

„Near the yellow house?"

„I am in front of it.“

„Give me ten minutes. Go inside. The bastards are lingering around. Just hide there.“

„Thanks.“

Taehyung was stubborn, but he knew that something was off. He didn´t feel good. Weak. He clenched his teeth and forced himself on his feet. He stumbled into the house.

Right into a group of street kids.

Yoongi ran towards the Line 4 station. Luckily he had been in the area when Taehyung had called. And he knew that it was urgent when he decided to call him. He had a strong sense of pride. 

He saw the yellow house.

Taehyung couldn´t even try to dodge the kick.

The guy´s heel hit him in the shoulder. He didn´t know how many blows he had taken already. Somebody grabbed him and lifted him.

„Nice jacket.“ he heard one of the guy's voices.

„ off...“ he stammered.

The guy just threw him on the floor again, Taehyung tried to use his arms to protect his body, but he was too weak. When his head hit the ground, he was close to fainting.

He tried to get up. He managed somehow to get on his knees and wipe the blood from his lip. He couldn´t see the guys in front of him. His body didn´t obey him anymore. His heart was racing, and he had trouble breathing. He didn´t even feel the pain when they hit him again.

„This is my territory, bastard. I have no idea why you are not defending yourself, and I don´t care. But don't come here again."

Taehyung felt strong arms around his shoulder, and somebody removed his jacket. Taehyung got angry. „Give it back. It´s a...“

„It´s a what?“

„A present...“ he mumbled.

„Don´t get cocky. Who could give you a present? Santa Claus?“

He heard nasty laughs.

The guy grabbed him and pushed him against the wall. The only reason he could stand was the grip on his collar. He started panting.

„Something is wrong with him. He looks sick.“ he heard one of them whisper.

„Probably one of those drug kids. Let´s go.“

When Yoongi saw a group of kids come out of the house, he froze.

He ran faster and reached the house a second after the kids turned around a corner.

„...“ he mumbled.

Taehyung was leaning against the wall. He was bleeding.

Yoongi knelt.“It´s me. What happened?“
