KARINA's POV

          Upon learning that Wonyoung finds it annoying that I always prevent Minjeong from interacting with her, it only made me want to annoy her even more. 

As she explain about another upcoming event, I held Minjeong's arm and leaned my head on her shoulder. Good thing I'm already comfortable enough with Minjeong to be able to do these things. 

"Winter, is it okay for you to host this event with me?" she asked, obviously using it as an excuse to get closer to Minjeong and as usual, I interrupted. 

"I think it would be better if we can give others a chance. How about Yujin?" 

"Karina, would you please-" she was gonna say something but was cut off by Yujin. 

"I'm fine with it. Winter had just finished hosting an event last week, I think it's not right to ask her to host again for the next event." Yujin said and everyone else agreed. And I've seen how Wonyoung gave me a look. 

"Fine. Then you're gonna be in charge of listing the contestants' names, Karina. And on the day of the event, you'll have to assist them backstage." 

"I'm okay with that. I have Minjeong to help me out." I purposely said that get a reaction from her but to my disappointment, I didn't get any. 

"Starting tomorrow, you'll be asking and listing their names from every classroom. That would give them two weeks time to prepare. I'd ask Ms. Park to excuse the both of you tomorrow. Is that clear?" 

"Crystal." 

"Yujin and I will also help out on designing the stage. It's gonna be a busy week for us again next week." she said. 

How great. We would be coming home late again.

"Alright, that's all. See you tomorrow." 

When everybody else left, I handed Minjeong a starbucks gift card I was supposed to give her for helping me out on the script last event. I didn't really had a chance to thank her properly for that. 

"Why are you giving me this?" 

"For helping me out the last time. I wasn't able to thank you for that." I told her and she smiled. 

"You're practical, huh? This is awesome." 

"I know, right?" 

I was about to tell her goodbye but she had plans in mind, "We could use a drink right now. You up for it?" 

"Oh, you should use that with Ningning." 

"Come on, it's a $15 gift card. Besides, I'll go straight to their house afterwards."

"Well, if you insist." 

On our way, I can't help but take videos of the beautiful scenery. The trees were perfectly aligned and the sun shines upon them. 

I'm on the back, holding onto Minjeong's shoulder, feeling the air on my face as we go. 

"The weather today is nice." I told her.

"Right. A walk in the park would be great." 

Just then, I remembered today is Sunday. Which means, I have to go to church.

I tapped her shoulder, "Hey, if you don't mind, can we stop by at the church near the park first? It won't take long." 

"Yeah." 

Because Minjeong is with me, I didn't want to make her wait so I hurried my way inside and quickly prayed. I finished up real quick, surprising her. 

"Yah, if you're going into a church, at least say your prayers properly and sincerely." she told me as if she was my mother. 

"But I don't want to make you wait." 

"It's fine. What if God didn't hear what you prayed for because you were in a hurry?" she joked, causing me to hit her arm slightly. 

I made my way inside again and took my time just like Minjeong wanted me to. She didn't go in, she was just literally waiting for me outside. I wanted to take her with me but I'm not quite sure if she goes to church. So I'd just pray for her and on her behalf instead. 

With all that's been happening lately, now is the best time to pray for everything.
