"So, you two aren't in talking terms anymore?" Karina asked the younger girl who nodded in return. 

"I should tell Winter, right?" 

"Yeah. She deserves to know even the tiniest thing." 

"I hate losing a friend, you know. No one likes that. I actually hoped I was wrong back then. I should've believed Winter." Ningning sighed out of frustration. "If you were in my position, would you cut off your best friend that easily?" 

"I don't know. I've never experienced something like that before." Karina honestly told her. "But I'm sure you did that for a reason. You did what's best for you, I respect that." 

"Take a look at Minjeong's photo." she changed the topic and showed Ningning the photo of Winter she took earlier. 

WINTER's POV

           As promised, I brought Ningning home with me so she could meet my parents. Never in my life I did this before, making me feel nervous but excited at the same time. I made sure they're both home so everything would be perfect.

"What if they won't like me?" Ningning worries. 

"Are you kidding me? Baby, you're more than fine. There's nothing to hate about you." I kissed her hand before proceeding to ring the doorbell.

"Oh, hi!" mom greets us once she opened the door. "Come in. Who is this beauty?" 

Ningning giggled after hearing what my mom said. "This is Ningning." I introduced her. 

"Good afternoon, I'm Ningning." she formally introduced herself. I can tell how shy she is just looking at her. 

"Hello, dear. I'm Tiffany and the other mom is Taeyeon. Are you aware of who we are?" mom asked, probably assuming that Ningning already know what's up in this house. 

"Yes, I'm actually very happy to know that Winter has two moms." 

"We're anti-men." mom told her as a joke, making her laugh in an instant. "I like your laugh." 

Ningning couldn't help but laugh at my mom's way of talking. She said she finds my mom cute and that she would want a mom like her. 

Thinking about it, I remembered the time she said that she often feel lonely at home where it's only her and her sister. I  wish she could feel safe and comfortable in this house where she is welcomed warmly. I also want her to feel my moms' love and care towards me. 

Dada Tae surprised me by kissing the back of my head when she came downstairs. "Bringing a girl into our house now, huh?" she teased. 

"Did she bring any other girls here?" Ning asked to tease me even more.
