AUTHOR's POV


          Winter returned the script to Karina the following day with not just 2, but 4 more added pages. She couldn't help but feel like she owes her something.


"You've done too much. Did you even sleep?" she worried about the shorter girl. Winter lied and nodded in return, smiling, but the tiring look in her eyes is visible.


"Don't worry about it. We can start practicing tomorrow."


"Why not later?" Karina asked.


"Sorry, I have a thing." she didn't say anything further.


"I see."


After they notice how sleepy Winter is, Ningning immediately sat beside her and figured out that she indeed didn't get some sleep at all. "You didn't get to rest well."


"It's okay. I had to finish something." hearing that made Karina guilty. Although Winter said she's okay with it, maybe she was just being too nice.


"It's Ryujin's fault." Yuna joked. Blaming Ryujin because she's the one who elected Winter in the first place.


"Yeah, let's blame her."


"Yah, why are you teaming up against me?" Ryujin demanded.


Setting aside the jokes, Ningning couldn't help but worry about the older girl. When they were video-calling last night, she ended up sleeping while waiting for Winter to finish writing the script.


"Besides, after this, we're gonna have fun." a sleepy Winter told her. She stayed up all night on purpose so they could enjoy their date later on without worrying about a thing. She doesn't like it when something or someone bothers her for school-related stuff just like Karina did the last time. Ningning softly smiled knowing how Winter is putting up an effort to make it up to her.


Luckily, their professor won't be able to attend the first class due to personal issues which means Winter could have at least 2 hours of sleep.


As the latter rest, Ningning took the time to ask Karina about yesterday.


"Rina, Winter was with you yesterday, right?" she approached her.


"Yeah, why?"


"Did something happen? Why wasn't she able to rest?" because of this, Karina got scared. Ningning could get mad at her for it.


"I'm sorry, I didn't know she was gonna stay up all night." she sincerely apologized and started talking fast. "She told me she'd bring it home. Something happened yesterday. It's personal but-"


"Okay, slow down." Ningning told her and the taller girl sighed before talking again.


"It's too personal so I can't share it with you but I'm really sorry, Ning." Karina apologized once more seeing how serious Ningning's facial expression is.


"Next time, don't let something like that happen again." she told Karina. "You know her, she can be too nice."


"Yes, I know, it's my fault." she acknowledged. "You're not mad at me, aren't you?" Karina asked her for clarification.


"No, I'm just worried because she's driving. She's supposed to be fully awake in order to drive." Ningning explained. She's right after all. A simple dizzyness can lead into a serious accident.


"It won't happen again, Ningie. I swear." she received a nod from the shorter girl. "How are things between you two, anyway? You had a date the other day, right?"


And just like that, a smile was seen on Ningning's face again, "Yeah, everything is going great. I had so much fun."


"I'm happy for you guys." they both had smiles on their faces.


"You know, I had no idea the first time that I would end up liking a girl. It's weird at first but I'm telling you, she's better than any men I ever went out with." Karina laughed.


"Just like they say, anything is possible." she then sees the necklace Ning
