WINTER's POV

"Hey, dada." I greeted her. She was taking out the garbage. 

"Hi. Where have you been?" she asked me before ruffling my hair. "It's almost 7 pm." 

"Hung out with friends at the mall." I told her. "I got you something." 

"Nice. Come on, let's get inside." 

As soon as we stepped in, mom Tiff welcomed me in a tight hug. So tight that it hurts. "Mom, you're gonna get the croissants crushed." I reasoned for her to let go of me.

"How is my baby?" she asked, pinching my cheeks.

"I'm fine, mom. I've had a heavy meal earlier so I might not join you for dinner." I handed her the paper bag. 

"Is that so?" I nodded. "Thank you for this, sweety. Now, go and take a shower." 

I went upstairs to take a shower just like what mom told me to do. 

As the warm water falls down my body, I suddenly smiled; recalling the things that happened earlier.

(Flashback)

"'Til next time." 

"Bye!" Toothless and Light Fury drove off, leaving the two of us in the parking lot.

"Are you sure this is okay?" Ning asked. She must be worried. 

"Yeah, no big deal. It'd be hassle if you take a bus home because of the traffic." 

"You're right." 

Her home's not far away from the mall so you can expect we got there that quick. It surprised me how wonderful their house is just by looking at it outside. 

"Nice house." I told her as she gets off my motorcycle. 

"Thanks. It's kinda huge for two people." 

"Oh, why? Whom do you live with?" I asked out of curiosity.

"My sister." 

"I see." I nodded. "Well, see you on Monday, baby girl." I again. 

"Shut up." she glared at me. She was so cute, it made me chuckle. 

"But uhm, thanks for today. I'm glad you agreed to come with us. I bet, it wouldn't be that fun if you didn't come." I told her.

"I had so muh fun, thanks to you. We should hang out again some other time." she smiled.

"Yeah." 

I looked into her eyes long enough to make her speak. "I...need to get inside." 

"Right. Have a good night." I said.

"You, too."

Maybe, RJ is right. Maybe, I have a crush on this girl.

I smiled like an idiot while driving on the way home.

"Minjeong-ah." mom interrupts my thoughts as she keep knocking on the door.

I turned off the shower, "What is it, mom?" 

"Your dada wants to talk to you downstairs after you shower. Got it?" 

"Okay." 

I immediately finished showering so I could sleep right after my dada talk to me. 

"Minjeong-ah, can I borrow your motorcycle for a week?" 

"Why? Are you going on a vacation?"

"We're having a business trip starting on Monday and I figured I could borrow yours so it wouldn't be a hassle when I got stuck in a traffic." she explained. 

"Is she gonna be there?" mom Tiff asks her. "Your mistress?" 

"What are you talking about? I don't have a mistress." dada Tae said. I could only watch them argue. 

"Yah, I won't let you borrow it if you're gonna take your mistress with you." I jokingly said.

"That's right, baby. Thank you." mom Tiff gave me a flying kiss for siding with her against dada Taeng. I love it when they're having a little argument. 

"Jessica is not my mistress. Aish, you two are crazy." mom Tiff and I could only laugh because of dada Tae's reaction. 

"Dada offered that girl a ride home twice already because she gets worried about her being alone. Concerned much?" mom again.

"I was just being nice. We're workmates after all."
