7:11 am

A calming morning, yet brought an unpleasant knot in your stomach as your mind adjusted to the world to groan softly while felt an arm wrapped around your waist, and a face snuggling in the curve of your neck which you didn't have to recognize the person beside you, because indeed it was your husband by your side.

Feeling another knot in your stomach, you opened your eyes and a sudden pain had rushed into your head enough for you to attempt to turn to your side in reflex, but his warm yet bare arm around your waist had stopped you as you let out a sigh to scrunch your nose to finally turning around to your side only to let out a yelp as you almost fall off the bed.

However, his arm around you had tightened the hold, before you felt him nuzzling against your hair behind as his husky whisper left. "Careful, Daisy."

You could feel the warmth from his bare skin against your back, before sighing deeply as you lifted your arm to rub your eye only to frown to find your hand hidden in an open cuff sleeve and your eyes widened, to immediately sitting up with a confused state while Baekhyun groaned, softly at your sudden action to bury his face in the pillow.

"Come here, Daisy."

He tried to tug you back with your forearm only for you to slap it away as he let out a whine. "Did you dream about someone fighting with you again?"

"Shut up."

You mumbled, looking at yourself to find yourself in a black button down shirt, and loose mid-thigh pajama, but from what you can recall, you were dressed in a maroon gown last night while the shirt you were wrapped in was his, which he wore last night at the event and the fact you don't remember anything about changing into it, and him lying beside you shirtless didn't help either but a blush surely crept through you.

"Baek."

You called him softly yet in a questioning tone and he hummed, pulling you back as your back hit the mattress with him snuggling into your neck again. "Is your stomach hurting?"

"A little." You said, but clicked your tongue in annoyance as this wasn't the topic you wanted to talk about, before gently pushing him away as he whined at it for you to pull yourself up on your elbow with your eyes at him as you questioned, hesitantly. "What happened last night?"

He was silent for a moment, before tilting his head towards you as his droopy eyes opened to meet yours for a moment to frown. "You don't remember?"

You blinked a couple of times nervously. "Remember what?"

"That," He trailed off, bringing his arm up to brush his finger through the curve of your neck just above the collar of the shirt as a slight smirk curved the corner of his lips. "You jumped on me last night?"

Your eyes enlarged. "Impossible!"

And the next second, your back hit the mattress again with him hovering over you as your hands palmed his biceps as his hand stopped by your waist on the mattress to steady himself up and other one reached out, caressing your jawline in a soothing way as a blush crawled through you with his playful eyes boring into yours. "Then, why do you think we are like this?"

You blinked, once, twice and thrice trying to recall whatever happened but the last thing you you could recall was the glass of red wine being chugged down your throat while you were lost in your thoughts, you couldn't notice his adoring gaze behind his lazy eyes as he kept staring at you intently until you met his gaze. "I don't remember anything."

His eyes squinted. "Expected."

"Yeah, so," You bit your lip, swallowing as you noticed his eyes averting to your lips with the familiar glint of temptation; and your hold onto him tightened. "What happened?"

"I told you," He trailed off, leaning in as his nose brushed against yours in a soft graze. "You took advantage of me, Daisy."

"Don't say it like that," You slightly pushed him back with a frown as his laugh erupted in the whole silent room; the way his lips were stretched wide resembled a baby yet the man didn't look like one right now; in fact, he looked hot.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked, his laughter subsided but his lips were still curved in a subtle curve while his eyes peeked at your face with an adoring gaze. "You're blushing, Daisy."

"I'm not."

"You still have the nerve to deny that." He chuckled, his fingers tickling your side earning a yelp of giggles from you making him smile until you grabbed his hand by your waist with a warning gaze. "Stop."

"You wish."

His forehead creased, and the next second you found him leaning closer enough to brush his nose against yours; until his lips had almost brushed against yours but you were quick to palm his mouth earning a groan from him. "Not this again, Daisy."

"I haven't brushed yet."

"And I give no damn about it."

He uttered, after removing your hand which was still in his hold to give a quick soft kiss on the back of it leaving a fluttering sensation in your stomach; even after all this time, and before you could react more to it, another reaction of surprise was made from you by your gasp against his lips.

The next moment; your eyes closed, reciprocating of the sudden moment he initiated yet you could feel yourself drowning in his warmth; his palm against your jawline behind a soft caress of his thumb over your cheek where his heart warmed at the gesture of you holding his nape earning a smile of his against your lips.

The moment was to be savored like always; the kiss and the arms holding had given a wave of warmth reminiscent of your moments.

Moments, which could never be forgotten; moments, which had brought you both where you were right now; moments of cherish.

A sudden sharp pain in your stomach and you let out a soft groan against his lips as he was quick to lean away with his palm sliding off from your cheek to your stomach. "Go and freshen up, I'll make you your ginger tea."

You nodded with a smile as he kissed your forehead to immediately sit up making you do the same but you gave him a quick glance. "Wear your shirt first."

He ran his hand through his messy hair with a smirk. "Can't resist me now, Daisy?"

"No."

And his eyes rounded again; something not changing in his life or moments would always be how effortlessly you'd throw him in a blushing mess just by your flirty remarks like right now as he reached out, tapping the back of your hand. "Don't do that, Daisy."

"Then, go and change into something warm." You giggled, kissing his cheek earning a soft smile from him as he nodded. "Yes, your highness."

Your eyes watched his figure walking to the wardrobe as he tucked himself in a black t-shirt, like the one he always looks fine in, like the one you always find yourself getting awestruck in like right now, and like always he would catch you staring at him, like right now.

"And my Daisy is lost in her husband's beauty again."

The moment he uttered those words, you found him already standing by the bed with a playful grin on his lips as he was quick to lean down and before you could react to his upcoming action, his arms slid around your waist and under your knees as the next thing you found yourself being lifted in his arms as if you weigh nothing while your arms hugged his neck in a habit of your reflex.

He frowned. "I really have to feed you a lot."

"I eat like a normal person."

His head tilted with a smirk. "But you're extraordinary."

"That, I am." You smiled, attempted to snuggle into him but he let you down by the door with a sarcastic smile. "And you extraordinarily jumped-"

You were quick to palm his mouth. "I get it, so stop."

He kissed your palm with his eyes smiling like his lips against your skin before poking your waist as you yelped, withdrawing your hand back as he laughed only to get a punch on his stomach from you and as he was about to grab you back to him, you were quick to close the door behind with your soft giggles as he looked down with a smile.

No matter how much the time passes, your giggles would always flutter his heart like it did years ago when he listened to it for the first time at the orphanage; how he was awestruck right there.

A year has passed, since you both have been married, the wedding wasn't a grand one but one that could have both of your fellow friends, and loved ones in it, but however it was, he wasn't able to take his eyes off of you walking down the aisle in the wedding dress he had shopped it with you as he was blown away there but the moment he laid his eyes on you on the wedding day was the moment he couldn't function.

You were breathtakingly beautiful.

The moments of your earlier days crossed his head, both of you locked in the campus, him being interested and you pushing him away, him falling in love and you letting him in, him finding his warmth, and a safe place and you finding a home in him.

Both of you, going through hardship together, going through the long distance relationship, and finally being back home to each other.

You initiated the proposal, and he did it back, wholeheartedly.

So much passed, and here you were both, in your place, in your home, together.

He smiled, pouring the ginger tea in the cup before hearing your footsteps with an instinct of something and the moment he felt your arms around his waist from behind, his lips curved in a beautiful smile.

You placed your chin on his upper-arm with a glance at his handsome face and he looked at you with a smile only to find you staring at him with a smile and an adoration in your eyes and he chuckled. "Aren't you getting too lost in my beauty nowadays, Daisy?"

"So, why do you have to be so beautiful?"

"Look at you talking like me. " He raised his eyebrows, and you chuckled, standing straight. "We're supposed to share things."

He nodded, humming. "Fair enough."

"I can't remember anything." You bit your lip with a guilty look toward him. "I'm sorry."

He faced you while handing you the cup with a soft stare. "Should I help you remember it?"

"No."

"Why not?"

"You're going to be all dramatic," You trailed off, as you shook your head before taking a sip. "I don't think I can listen to it."

"Or you're just gonna be all shy?" He tilted his head, with a teasing smirk and you had to hold back your gasp with the urge of pulling him in a kiss because of his action but stood firm to it. "Nope."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"You're not?"

"No."

"You are."

"I'm not, and I'm not getting tricked again." You stated, realizing his doings of his old tricks for having his things done with you always falling for it but now you were able to catch up before he could do that and he sighed, nodding with a look as he understood. "Of course you're not shy until I tell you about last night."

"Baekhyun, don't."

He chuckled, liking where this is going as he stepped forward making you lean against the counter with the cup still in your hand as he began to speak. "You had red wine last night, remember?"

"Two glasses."

"Exactly, it wasn't your pomegranate juice." His eyes squinted. "I definitely stopped you."

Your lips puckered. "It was really delicious."

"Yeah, it was." He mumbled, his eyes staring at your lips with a tempting stare leaving your chest with a warm sensation. "I know what you are trying to do, Baek."

He leaned forward, his hands either side of the counter with his figure towering over you. "Is it working?"

"No."

His shoulder slouched along with his head on your shoulder. "You're so mean, Daisy."

You giggled, leaning your head against his until he lifted his head up with his eyes glancing at a place, to the exposed collarbone and his lips curved in a smile as his thumb brushed over the place softly and your lips parted, feeling the warmth crawling through your system by his touch, the touch of that faint mark on your skin.

"Last night,"

"Baekhyun, I'm warning you-"

"It was beautiful, Daisy." He whispered, his eyes adoringly boring into yours while his palm sliding the curve of your neck with a soft caress to your jawline, soothing your skin warmly as he had made your head tilted up to him and his forehead pressed against yours, with his lips almost inches away. "It was so damn beautiful, Daisy."

The next moment, your eyes closed, and felt him taking away the cup from your hold to put it on the counter as his palm was against your waist, his thumb caressing it slowly in a way that you had to hold your breath, and hold on to him as your arms hugged his neck and his lips met yours softly.

You were quick to respond back, like always because his gentle yet passionate kiss against your lips would have you give in, to lean into his touch, and his arms seemed to be pulling you closer as possible, since your movements of holding on to him would have him lean into your touch.

Soon enough, his forehead leaned against yours as you had leaned back to take a moment to yourself with your eyes still closed, his nose still in a warm brush against yours, and his lips fanning on your lips. "You distracted me again."

He hummed, his warm lips sliding up to brush against your cheekbone behind his deep chuckle on your skin behind a ticklish sensation. "It was your call."

You leaned back with a frown, arms still around his neck. "You jumped on me!"

"Let's make it even then."

"Even?" Your eyes squinted. "You just take every advantage of the situation."

"Damn straight." He giggled, before his forehead creased with a wink. "But that's my right."

You couldn't help but smile, yet were known to the fact that he wouldn't do anything without having your consent, and knowing about your drunk self, you must have clung to him like a koala or this man right in front of you would've been attractive enough for you jump on, well, who cares? You had all the very right anyway.

"Yeah, so-"

"No, I'm not listening to this!"

You were quick to nudge him away as you walked out of the kitchen with him laughing behind you. "Come on, you should listen to how you pinned me against the wall, Daisy."

"Stop!"

You whined, cupping your warm ears as you almost walked back to your room with him laughing behind until he had hugged your waist to have your back against his chest, his head leaning against yours. "And you kissed me like you are so in love with me, Ji-Ah."

You closed your eyes with a warmth engulfing you, yet couldn't help but leaned back with your face covered by your hands. "I hate you, you dork!"

And his laugh against your skin, and throughout the whole place was the only thing echoing. "I love you too, Daisy."

And you wanted it to be like this, always.

7:03 pm

Baekhyun had pulled over the car outside the building; his eyes looking up at the name of Kim boutiques with a faint smile to get off his car after taking off his jacket revealing his white-button-down as he checked his wristwatch through his rolled-up sleeves to confirm the precise timing of his wife in his sight, and he had calculated the timing correctly as the moment he had lifted his head up, you were walking out of the building in your silk-suit after bidding goodnight to your fellow staff with a smile.

Oh, how beautiful you appeared every time; his smile couldn't be hidden.

"Oh, Mrs. Kim, your husband is waiting for you."

One of the employees told you, and you instantly followed her gaze to find your husband already looking at you with a smile as he waved his hand, making you smile back as you quickly bid bye to your colleagues to pace towards Baekhyun who's smile had widened by your actions and as soon as you had hugged his neck as his arms wrapped around your waist with a little lift behind his soft giggles.

"I missed you, Daisy."

You leaned away with a frown yet the warmth couldn't be helped through your cheeks. "We were literally together in the studio a while ago."

The place where the photo shoot of both of your companies had decided to have a collaboration that brought your visitation to each other's company frequent and pleasant.

His forehead creased. "That doesn't mean that I can't miss you."

You nodded, playing along with him. "Of course, you wouldn't have been able to work either."

"You understand me so well, Daisy."

He let out a chuckle with a quick kiss on your forehead, making your squinted eyes to glint in a glow of blush as you looked around to find the people still coming out of the building while your lovey dovey pair taking their attention as you looked back at Baekhyun to find him opening the passenger door for you.

"Let's go, Daisy, Ms. Universe must be waiting for us."

You frowned. "What about my car?"

He bit his lower lip with a pondering look to shrug, "We'll have Yeong to pick it up later," He trailed off, taking your hand in his to make you sit inside as you complied, with a look toward him as he was about to close the door. "You do know that Mr. Yeong isn't your assistant, but dad's?"

Baekhyun's forehead creased with a playful smirk. "And you do know that my dad loves me?"

Before you could have answered, he had leaned in closer to steal a kiss from your lips as your eyes squinted. "Always up for the advantage of the situation."

"You love me anyways."

He winked, and closed the door leaving you with a shake of head along with a smile on your lips to find him beside you as he fastened his seatbelt. "And where did you get that confidence from?"

His head tilted with a smirk before poking your cheek. "From last night."

Your cheeks heated up as you slapped his arm. "I told you not to bring that up, Baekhyun!"

He just laughed, starting the engine and you leaned back with a sulky look before watching him rolling down the window by your side for the breeze that you love; and felt his fingers interlocking with yours on your lap like he loves, but the most important was your warmth for each other that seeped your love.

"Is dad really busy tonight?"

Baekhyun hummed, a soft smile on his lips. "He's having a dinner date with Ms. Han."

Ms. Han was a woman in late fifties like Mr. Byun, and from a greeting at some business event they had met each other with some similarities of theirs matching up had them converse more; the more conversation they had, the more their friendship had turned more than it, but before taking a step ahead, Mr. Byun had had a talk with Baekhyun since him being his son was a huge part of his life, and a significant role and you were left surprised when he had given the same amount of value to you as well.

You didn't have any objections; it was his life as said to be lived, but given the perspective, Baekhyun was his son so he might have a say in this one as for his dad's concern but he was happy about it, his dad was finally back to living his life after that one confrontation years ago so by living his life with his lovely son came with a chance of sharing his life with a life partner too, not that Baekhyun didn't give it a thought about his mom as she was happily married with a second chance at love, so his dad deserves that chance too.

You have always been in love with his understanding, and consideration and after listening to his words, you just fell in love with him even more; not there was a time you didn't but it was exceptionally inevitable.

However, only his dad wasn't the one with a second chance at love, because after a few months of your marriage, your mom had told you about how Samuel had proposed her with a marriage and of course, not only you, but even your mom was left surprised, but Baekhyun wasn't much surprised as he had already told you before about how Samuel doesn't look at his Ms. Universe like how a friend does, based on his own kind of experience.

So, this time you had to agree; you weren't really opposed by it, Samuel was a good man, after leaving for New York for almost two years, he had been taking care of your mom along with your friends so you could actually see how your mom is comfortable with him as more than a friend does, but like you were her most important part of her life, she had to discuss it with you because somewhere she knew how much you love your dad, and you were conflicted about it too, yet you let her do what her heart wanted because you always wanted your mom to be happy, but Baekhyun had caught your conflicted mind in a second but made you understand everything like he always does.

That your dad's place will be always there where it should be; be it in your heart, or your mom's because indeed, he was a part of your life like he was your mom's first love, but Samuel will have his own place in her heart, and your heart and life and so you had understood that people do deserve a second chance in love.

But yours would always be him; in your first, and last.

"You seem to be getting lost in my beauty a lot these days, Daisy."

You snapped out at his remark as you had been staring at him instead of looking outside for a fresh breeze but at this moment, he seemed to be more important, in fact, he always is.

Your lips parted for the reply only for him to have his words. "I guess last night wasn't enough for the show."

You gasped, blushing. "Byun, stop with that."

"You didn't say Byun-"

You quickly cupped his erted mouth. "My God, keep quiet!"

He giggled against your skin with a soft kiss on your palm, making you melt right there as you pushed his shoulder. "You better behave or else-"

"Or else?"

"Or else, no hugs and kisses for you."

"Hey!" He exclaimed, glancing at you with a betrayed look to look ahead. "That's not fair, Daisy."

You made a face. "You asked for it."

He pouted. "You hurt me."

You shrugged with a smile. "You love me anyway."

And did he ever deny it? Never in his life.

He had stopped by the Café; the only Café you both would visit, the one where you had worked years ago and the one where he'd always wait for you; the kind of place where your moments had been lived, and etched at.

Soon enough, you both had walked in to greet the different interior as how Eunkyung had once asked for the group of you friends for the suggestions with the different staff members but the three of them were still unchanged, as Sera and Jiwoo were in the last year of their university but for the part-time job, this one was still the best for them whereas Eunkyung couldn't be seen as if left early and this time, she could leave the Café to the two unchanged members to be in-charged of it.

"Hey, Noona, and Hyung."

Jiwoo greeted both of you to which you both gave him a wave before Sera came back after serving the order as she gave you a smile. "Your usual?"

Baekhyun nodded. "Our usual."

She nodded, and walked away to the counter where you left to use the washroom leaving Baekhyun to have a little chit-chat with Jiwoo as both of you had a place to stop by before going to meet your mom, and after a few minutes, the drinks were in Baekhyun's hand, with you in his sight again but with the same twist of you tying up your hair, making his breath hitched like every time.

"Let's go?"

You approached him while taking the plastic cup in your hold and he nodded, taking a hold of your hand in his as he glanced at Jinsoo and Sera before both of you exited the Café after your little wave with your cup towards them.

"Why are you suddenly silent?"

You couldn't help but ask him as it's been a few minutes of him driving ily like he says with his serious yet silent look, yet it was unusual of him not talking from the moment you both had left the Café before realization hit you of your hair tied up.

Your head tilted as you sipped your coffee. "Is it because of my hair?"

He did that jaw clenched thing. "You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

And you played oblivious to it. "I don't get it."

"I can't see it."

This time you were left confused. "See what?"

He reached out, without taking his eyes off from the road to feel the back of his forefinger sliding the curve of your neck with a feathery brush but enough for you to feel the warm chills through your spine as he glanced at it for a second. "The glimpse of our love."

You gave him a look; this filmy guy.

"You think I'd let everyone know that we had a night of love?"

Baekhyun was taken aback yet again for the umpteenth time at your sudden boldness as he let out a chuckle. "We are husband and wife, Daisy, we shouldn't give a damn about the people."

"Only you know how to come up with this logic, Byun."

"Oh, that Byun again."

He clicked his tongue with a playful glare towards you. "You still don't remember?"

You shrugged, playfully. "Who knows?"

"This brat."

And your laugh was the only thing beaming in the car with his lips smiling wholeheartedly at it.

The car stopped by the familiar place as you looked outside to find the same amou
