I sat here at the side of the pool while my feet were dipped inside the water, kicking it and making ripples once in a while. We just finished our barbeque dinner and I must say that it was fun and superb! I didn’t expect that when they said they ordered our dinner it means that we’ll also be the ones to cook it. But I’m glad we did because freshly grilled barbeque tasted heavenly and of course best paired with some drinks.

Everyone was now just chilling at the pool side since we were now already full. The boys have beers on their hands. All couples were at their own world right now, enjoy each others company. The two kids, namely the ever-energetic duo Baekhyun-oppa and Jongdae-oppa, were nowhere to be seen since they have volunteered to buy more drinks for everyone. This is going to be a long night for us.

Kyungsoo-oppa and Wendy excused themselves right after our dinner. They had gone back to their room since Wendy needed to changed her clothes. Though it was summer, the night’s getting deeper and so was the temperature dropping. They head back for at least half an hour already and wasn’t gone back. Maybe they were already sleeping, but as I’ve said I couldn’t careless.

It was getting chilly as the night went by but it’s refreshing for me. I looked up the sky and saw that there’s plenty of stars scattered and shining brightly tonight. It’s like a black canvass with glitters of silver on it. The moon was shining beautifully as well and I can’t help but smile. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this genuinely happy. It felt nice and peaceful.

“Aren’t you cold up there? Why did you remove the towel around you? You’ll catch cold when you let your clothes dry like that. Do you want to come inside the water?” I heard Sehun asked one after another, breaking my thoughts. I looked down since he was at my side, inside the pool and was holding a beer which he was drinking. I looked around and saw that the couples were starting to play around at the deeper part of the pool as well. I shook my head as an answer.

“I’m already dry Sehun-ah and I’m fine here. It’s not that cold yet. And also, you don’t have to stick with me here. You can go there and play with the others.” I said as I point to where the couples were playing. He shook his head vigorously and drank his beer before he replied.

"And be what? 7th wheel on those couples? Not a chance Hye Joon-ah. I’ll stay here until the hyungs are back with more alcohol. That would be a nice companion tonight since you don’t want to swim.” He said then laugh as if there’s something funny with what he said. I just shrugged my shoulders then and went back looking at the sky.

“But seriously, are you just going to sit there? It’s colder up there compared to when you’re in the water. Or do you want to go back to our room and change then?” he said and tried to get out of the pool. I shook my head to stop him and looked down at Sehun. He was looking at me already so I gave him a small smile.

“I’m fine Sehun-ah. I’m checking myself if I still want to go inside the water or not. Also, I can’t honestly swim and you know that.”

“Come on Hye Joon-ah, I’ll teach you. It’s about time you learn how to swim, or at least float.” he said. He placed the bottle of beer he was drinking beside me and swim in front of me. He held out his hand to me, inviting me to come closer to him.

“I’m good Sehun, alright?” I said, turning down his offer. Oppa and him tried a couple of times to teach me how to swim every time I spent a summer few years back at Oppa’s home but they always fail. So why bother to try again right?

But instead of backing down, I saw him raised his eye brow at me before smiling mischievously, determined to get what he want. Oh no. Is it already the time of the month wherein he’s hardheaded and won’t take no as an answer?

Or maybe it was because of the spirit of the alcohol in his system which made him stubborn. Looking at my side where he placed his last bottle, it seems like he had finished three bottles already. His cheeks were tinted in reddish color so I have a hunch that he’s already tipsy. Though I haven’t seen him drunk before. But his voice sounded fine to me.

“Uh-huh, I won’t take no as an answer. You’re lucky the hyungs decided to play at the shallow part of the pool awhile ago. They didn’t get the chance to know that you’re afraid to play somewhere deeper because you can’t swim.”

“Well yeah, technically.” I answered him, not sure where he’s heading.

“But I saw Baekhyun-hyung’s things. He brought an inflatable ball. I think we’ll be playing volleyball next.”

“I’ll suggest to play in here then.” I said, crossing my hands over my chest. He looked at me annoyingly. He suddenly had this smug smile plastered on
