Chapter 10: (2013)

No Longer a Coward

…4.20.2013

Jiyeon stared at the photos on her phone.

They had gone to Lotte World together where he had bought her a cute plush penguin, though she wondered if he had won it  through the basketball game, despite her protests for him not too. They had gone to the NamSan tower together stood at the top and held hands as they looked into the Seoul night skyline, they had even gone on a Han River Cruise something that Jiyeon had gone on dozens of times.

They were all so much better with him.

Daniel’s presence alone seemed to bring a much more calm ambiance which made her feel relief whenever she was in public. As if he was her protector, his tall body blocking out any possible threats to her.

She had hundreds of photo’s with him now. Enough for her to stare at one for each day that she knew they would be separated. Somehow they avoided that topic, more like Daniel avoided the topic. She had hinted at the fact that he would go back to America, but he had brushed it off.

It worried Jiyeon, was she the only one thinking about her future.

“Time for dinner.” Jiyeon looked up at her brother Hyojoon who had entered her old bedroom. “Everything ok? You look worried.”

She was at her parent’s house to eat a meal. She had left Daniel at her apartment and promised she would return in at most a day.

“Yes, everything’s fine.” She responded trying to hide her guilt as she followed him to the dining room.

Her parents sat on one side of the table and Jiyeon joined her older brother on the other.

“How was Yoo In-na-si’s house?” Her mother inquired.

“Good.” Jiyeon replied as she took a bite of the rice and meat they had prepared.

“I’ll probably stay at my apartment for a few more days and then head back.”

“At your apartment?” Her father seemed caught off guard. “Why don’t you just stay at home?”

“Because she need’s a little space. Come on Appa, Omma, Jiyeon is 20 now. She can drive and needs a little freedom.” Her brother defended her. She made a mental note to thank him later.

“I just hope you don’t get too lonely there.” Her mother sighed.

“I am fine, I just need some time to think.”

“Did you see the news? huh? There’s that uh… Basketball player in America. He’s Korean.” Her dad suddenly brought up Daniel. “He said he liked T-ara.”

“Yes.” Her brother’s eyes lit up. “He’s seriously good at it too. Daebak, I wonder what kind of food they eat there to become so good.”

Jiyeon could have laughed at her brother’s comment. But made another mental note to ask Daniel himself.

“Aigoo, it’s all the beef.” Her mother stated her common misconceptions as usual. “They eat hamburgers there so much. That’s probably what it is.”

“We haven’t had beef in a while.” Her father made a cute expression. “Could we just have it once?”

They all laughed as Jiyeon couldn’t help but smile at her family. They were her rock, her constant supporters. They would always be there for her.

She wondered if she needed more than that?

JIYEON: Did you eat?

DAEHAN: yes

DAEHAN: I cooked for myself

JIYEON: what did you make?

JIYEON: did we have anything in the fridge?

JIYEON: you should've gotten take out

DAEHAN: it's fine

DAEHAN: I just had ramyun

JIYEON: I’m a chef too then

DAEHAN: idk about that

DAEHAN: yours is soggy

JIYEON: shut up

JIYEON: you still ate it happily

DAEHAN: there was another ingredient inside that’s why

JIYEON: ?

DAEHAN: Your love

Jiyeon curled up excitedly on her bed, cringing at his cheesiness. But, grinning anyways.

JIYEON: I miss you

DAEHAN: I’ll see you tomorrow

DAEHAN: I’ll just be here

JIYEON: Be a good boy and don’t go anywhere alright?

JIYEON: I don't want you going around getting lost

DAEHAN: I won’t omma

DAEHAN: besides you have my location now

DAEHAN: stalker.

JIYEON: Ya!

JIYEON: This stalker is going to sleep

DAEHAN: good night

DAEHAN: dream of me <3

JIYEON: maybe...

Jiyeon laid back in the small bed that had been her childhood. Her thoughts drifting to him.

That had been all she had dreamed of recently. Him.

Falling asleep against his chest. It was more comfortable than any pillow money could buy.

She fiddled her phone between her thumbs. She thought of soemthing.

JIYEON: I love you

DAEHAN: me too

DAEHAN: I miss u

Staring up towards the ceiling of her room. Memories of her short childhood returned. She had lived here the first 14 years of her life before leaving to become a trainee.

She remembered how excited she had been to first be scouted after winning a modeling contest. How she had pursued small cameos as an actress before solely focus on practicing to become an idol.

Not only that, but she had, at the time had to lose 6 kg. She remembered starving herself for days straight before she finally ate a small piece of tofu. That was the only way she had debuted.

Things had changed since then, being back home gave her good memories of her childhood. It brought happy memories of living in Korea.

Now she couldn’t even live here anymore without constantly looking over her shoulder.

… 4.22.2013

Daniel lay his head against the pillow.

He was watching Jiyeon as she lay facing him. Her eyes were closed, she was fast asleep. They had spent the whole day on a hike together near the Namsan tower. Then they had gone up late at night and saw the beautiful skyline.

Though admittedly he had focused more on her than the view.

Looking down, he wanted to kiss her more, he wanted to her face.

But he didn’t want to wake her up either. She seemed so peaceful. He wondered if he had been the cause of this new happiness.

He scanned her face, tracing each line into his mind millions of times.

Even now, after seeing her thousands of times on a screen, it amazed him how perfect  she looked in real life.

They had grown comfortable to the point she started removing her makeup when they slept, but there wasn’t a single flaw in her skin. It looked almost the same.

He saw his phone light up in the corner of his eye and reached for it.

There were 50 messages from his agent.

30 messages from his parents.

There were many more messages from his teammates, friends, and even coaches. He had already missed his scheduled flight.

He didn’t care. Right now, his sole focus was her.

He’d deal with things, as they came. This was something he had never expected. He knew he shouldn’t have stayed past the original intended week. But he didn’t want to leave.

The plan had been to confess before he left. Give her time to think about it, then face an awkward rejection weeks later.

But here he was sleeping on the same bed as her. How could he possibly leave?

…  4.23.2013

The ringing was beginning to bother her.

Was it her manager? This early?

Jiyeon reached for her phone, but found nothing. Sleep still in her eyes, she hastily picked up the phone she found on the ground.

“Hello?” She answered.

“Excuse me?” It was a strange voice in English.

Did she know this person?

“Hello? Who is this?” She questioned.

“I don’t know who you are, but please give Da-ni-el the phone.” The voice responded.

Jiyeon quickly checked the phone and realized it wasn’t her phone.

Flustered, she glanced over to Daniel who lay on his on the bed fast asleep.

“Sleeping.” She whispered, one of the few English words she knew.

“He sleeping.” She tried again.

I see.” The voice responded before mumbling about something in English.

“Please tell him. Come home. Home!” The voice repeated twice.

She wondered if this was his manager.

“He missing, 'important' meeting.”

“Really?” Jiyeon realized she had found it strange that he had decided to stay a few extra days past the original week.

But he assured her that he wasn’t busy. Had he lied to her?

“Very important, he missed it. Please tell him.”

“Ok.” Jiyeon responded and the other person hung up.

He missed an important event? What if that hurt his future? Was it because he wanted to stay with her longer?

She had just accepted his words as truth. He had been so calm and assuring when she asked whether it was ok to stay.

Perhaps it was because she wanted to believe him. Selfishly she wanted to spend more time with him.

But she knew now... he was sacrificing his future.

She quickly researched the American Sports news sites she had started reading.

ESPN report: Draft prospect Daniel Choi fails to show up for draft combine. Several teams report "not happy with this decision". Elite Point Guard from NYU did not appear for an important event to allow scouts to view his skills. Big board Rankings might plummet.

Jiyeon couldn’t understand all of the words even after pasting it into google translate. However, she knew it was bad.

He had skipped something important for her.

He was making his decision. He was hurting his career for her.

Once again, others were getting hurt. She was holding him back. She was holding onto something that would inevitably end anyways.

Was it that way he said, “I’ll never hurt you" so confidently that made her want to believe that they were possible?

The truth was apparent now. She knew what she had to do.

They were two very different celebrities. He was on the rise, he would be Korea’s hope. He would rise to the very top.

She was falling, her popularity had plummeted. Fans hated her. She was going down an inevitable road that led eventually to her ending her career. She wanted to ride it out. But it wasn’t going to end well.

If news about them got out, she would undoubtedly drag him down. She would hurt him.

Jiyeon cared about him too much to let that happen.

Daniel washed his face as he rubbed his eyes slightly.

Today was the day. He would give her a gift, he had already hidden it in her closet. Something she had asked him for a while back.

He checked his appearance in the mirror, it seemed ok.

He quickly brushed his teeth and smiled at his reflection before exiting the bathroom.

Suddenly, seeing her expression brought a gloomy atmosphere.

Then there was his suitcase. There was his backpack. They sat comfortably by the door.

She had packed up his clothes, he had decided to stay another 2 days at least. Why were they there?

“Jiyeon?” He questioned, confused by her expression and even more by the packed up bags.

“Daniel-si you need to leave.” She ordered.

Just the way she said his name was different. It wasn’t the loving voice he had heard over the past 8 days.

“What are you talking about?” He questioned, unable to comprehend her words.

“I’m done with you.” It was even colder than before. “We’re done.”

He rushed in front of her for begging for answers.

“Why?” He couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“I know I’m selfish. But I just want you to stay as my friend. I don’t want to risk losing you, so I want us to just be friends.” She revealed.

It made so little sense. Why now? Why was she saying this after all the time they spent together?

“Jiyeon.” He felt betrayed.

But at the same time. What could he say? Had he really just imagined the love he felt from her?

“You mean that?” He needed to know.

“I appreciate all that you’ve done for me, and I wanted to repay you with this fantasy. But it’s over Daniel. It’s just like you said 'a fantasy'. Think of this as me repaying you.” Jiyeon gazed back into his eyes, and he couldn’t see her falter at all. Did she really mean that?

He began to breath frantically, he was mad, he was confused, but more than that he was hurt.

He didn’t want to lose her either.

But… but what choice could he make? He loved her.

“So you just want me to stay by your side… as your friend?” He repeated coldly, begging for her to refute him.

Jiyeon nodded. “Now leave.”

“Then, that’s all I’ll be.” He took a deep breath wanting to hold onto whatever amount of pride he had left.

He grabbed his backpack and slung it around his shoulder, before grabbing his suitcase.

“I can drive you.” Jiyeon suggested.

“Don’t bother, I’ll take a cab.” He brushed her off.

He felt humiliated, he felt devastated. He turned around one more time.

“Good bye... friend.”

He closed the doors, and immediately tears began to fall down his face. He hadn’t cried when he broke up before. But this stung his heart more than anything.

He felt so helpless.

Jiyeon, did you really never love me?

Jiyeon leaned against the wall, her back sliding down until she say curled upinto her knees. She buried her face into her arms. Tears flowing by themselves.

Why had she done that? It hurt so much. She knew he’d never leave if she just told him the truth.

If he knew the real reason, she knew he’d reason with her.

She was afraid of that. She was afraid of him holding her, and pleading for her to trust him.

Jiyeon would’ve given in. Jiyeon would’ve let him ruin himself for her.

This was the only way.

This was the only way. She repeated.

Her heart ached so much as she began to sob uncontrollably.

“Never forgive me.” She choked out.

She stared at the Navy blue NYU hoodie that lay on the sofa. At least she had this to remember him by. She had pictures of them and she had his hoodie.

Would that be enough to get her through? She doubted it.

… 4.27.2013

ESPN report: Agent for Daniel Choi claims personal matters caused him to miss initial draft combine and promises any personal workouts would be attended. Teams are reportedly scheduling possible workouts.

…

Jiyeon stared at her apartment one last time preparing to leave back to Japan for more promotions.

Yoo Inna had volunteered to drive her to the airport. She had explained to her best friends her dilemma, and though they didn’t agree with her method, they supported her anyways.

They didn’t know how persistent Daniel was, how easily he would’ve persuaded Jiyeon’s thoughts.

Jiyeon decided to do one last walk through.

She sat down onto her bed.

She hadn’t slept there since that night, she had just come back to pack up her stuff after staying at Inna's.

It was too painful to see the bed and think about the memories she had created with Daniel.

She hadn’t even slept with him, he had waited for her. He had assured her that he would go at her pace and she would be eternally grateful for that.

If she had slept with him, it would’ve been that much more painful for her to say goodbye.

She realized she should probably wear a hat to the airport and entered her closet to grab one. She reached for it and accidently knocked it off the hook with her fingers. It landed on the floor in front of her.

Things really weren't going her way. She crouched down to grab the hat off the floor. That’s when in the corner of her eye she noticed it. A small plastic bag sticking out from behind a pair of shoes.

She grabbed the bag, it had a small post-it note. How had she never noticed it?

She remvoed it from the closet and laid it on the bed. She held the post-it note up. It was in Korean, but the characters were messy.

To my beautiful Jiyeon,

Sorry if my Korean still ,

But it still seems like a fantasy every time I hold you in my arms.

I love you so much that I want to keep staying longer, even though I know I’ll have to say goodbye soon.

I want us to be together even through the distance because I will work hard for us.

Please accept this no matter your answer,

Choi Daehan

Jiyeon was weeping when Inna found her. Hunched over the bed, her tears wetting the recently washed sheets.

Jiyeon hadn’t even opened the bag, but reading the note just made her more miserable.

“What’s wrong?” Her unnie questioned in concern as she pulled her into a hug.

“I keep telling myself I did the right thing.” Jiyeon choked out. “But it hurts. It hurts so much.”

She sobbed into Inna’s shoulder as her Unnie comforted her gently  her back.

“I’m sorry it ended like that.” She comforted. “You did the right thing for him.”

“I’ve never done anything for him. This is the first time I’ve helped him, but I feel so miserable now.” Jiyeon admitted. Her heart ached.

“If you’re meant to be, you’ll meet again ok? If he loves you that much, when it’s time. He’ll find you again.” Inna promised her.

Jiyeon nodded. Inna carried the rest of Jiyeon’s stuff to her car as Jiyeon locked up behind her.

Jiyeon kept the plastic bag in her hand all the way to the car. Finally deciding to open it, as they approached the large bridge connecting Seoul to Incheon.

It was a jersey. It was his college Jersey. She had begged him to give her one a few months ago.

Back then he had joked that he couldn’t, otherwise he’d have to play .

She hugged it close to her. He had washed it, but she could imagine his scent on it.

Thank you... for the memories.

SOOMPI: Ahreum rejoins subgroup of T-ara, called T-ara N4, as they begin promotions in Japan.

April 29th, 2013

T-ara has once again re-debuted in Japan with their Brand New 4. Using a new Hip Hop based concept MV, T-ara once again hit’s Orion’s number 1 spot in Japan. While hitting Top 3 on Korea’s Billboard 100.

The idol group seems to have overcome their dip in sales, as fan’s of T-ara seem to be returning due to the lack of evidence to support the scandal.

However, many Netizens continue to post hateful comments with the relaunch of T-ara’s Hyomin’s and Eunjung’s social media profiles. Though most comments seem directed towards the group’s old Maknae.

T-ara’s Jiyeon however, has been voted Number One non-Japanese beauty by Japanese fans, leading the competition by a wide margin.

////////////////////

Comments:

“I can’t say I am happy to see that Bully Jiyeon is being so widely loved by Japanese fans, but their new album is great.”

“I hope MBK petitions for Bully Jiyeon to leave the group soon, I think it’s disgusting what she did.”

“Everyone who is hating on Jiyeon, clearly is stupid. I hope she ignores these comments and just focuses on performing. T-ara fighting!”

Daniel sighed as he stared at the basket. He was passed the ball once more and shot the ball.

It felt too hard off of his finger tips and he watched the ball bounce off the rim.

He did this another 4 times as a professional scout observed him.

He had counted his makes and misses so far, 80/140.

This was not good, these were open shots he could’ve made in his sleep. But all the stress and depression he felt caused him to lose focus.

“Take a water break. Let’s come back in 20 minutes.” His trainer advised him as he took his last shot.

He walked over to where his sister was waiting with a bright smile and a water bottle. He could tell she was trying to stay positive for him.

“Here oppa.” She handed it, her voice as cheerful as possible. He sighed before thanking her.

The ice cold water felt so good down his dry throat.

“Not bad. You can do better though.” She commented. “To be honest you haven’t been the same ever since coming back from Seoul.”

Daniel truthfully didn’t want to think about it. How heartbroken he had felt.

“Daniel what happened there?” She suddenly inquired, he knew she was serious when she didn’t address him as oppa. "You haven't talked to anyone about coming back late, about what you did there."

“I don’t want to talk about it!” He barked back, throwing down the towel he had been drying himself with.

Noticing the concerned expression on her face he instantly regretted it. He knew she meant well. They all did.

He sighed. “I’m sorry, can we talk about this later?”

“Promise?”

“Promise.” He filled up on more water before returning to the court as dozens of reporters and analyst watched him practice.

He needed to do well on the workout if he wanted a chance of getting drafted.

… 5.15.2013

ESPN report: Point Guard Daniel Choi seems projected to be drafted early in the second round according to recent ESPN Mock draft.

… May 20th 2013

That’s great dude. I’ll be watching attentively. I always knew this day would come.” It was Jay’s voice over the phone.

“I hope I actually get drafted though, my workout was horrible.” He replied, as he packed clothes into a suitcase. “I’m going to go workout for the Mavericks tomorrow.”

His agent had told him the day before. In a matter of hours he had booked tickets and was heading to Dallas.

Really, they have the 45th pick though? They won’t get you there.” His friend remarked.

“I don’t know, but my agent said that in case I don’t get picked before then, I should workout with them for safety.” Daniel explained.

“Besides Dallas is not far from here, it’ll be a quick flight.”

Ok, I’ll talk to you later then.” Jay hung up and Daniel threw another hoodie into the suitcase.

“Oppa.” There was a knock at the door.

“Come in.” He called. The door opened and Jenny rushed in.

She jumped onto his bed and rolled around excitedly.

“Oppa, look at this.” She held up her phone to his face. There was an article.

… 5.19.2013

KOREABOO: T-ara shows support publicly for Basketball Idol Daniel Choi

May 19th, 2013

Two months ago Daniel Choi, dubbed the basketball idol, showed his support for Idol group T-ara. Obviously pleased by the shoutout T-ara has publicly showed their own support in different ways.

T-ara’s Eunjung recently tweeted: “I am by no means an analyst or an expert on basketball but 45 is low for such a good player. Choi fighting!”

T-ara’s Soyeon also posted a video of her shooting a paper ball into a trash can. She made the shot and then celebrated loudly. Captioning the video, Just like Choi! Fighting Basketball oppa!

Now many other idols including SNSD’s Jessica and Tiffany (fellow Californians), F(x)’s Amber, former 2pm’s Jay Park, and Shinee’s Key have also expressed their support on social media.

However, what had a lot of fans talking as well, was the less direct shoutout from T-ara’s Jiyeon. Yesterday while performing with T-ara N4, Jiyeon wore a replica jersey of Daniel Choi’s NYU Blue and white Jersey. With the noticeable Number 9 and Choi on the back.

Fans of Daniel were extremely impressed by the authenticity of the Jersey and although unlikely some even speculated he might’ve sent a jersey to thank them for their support.

This was added with the latest street fashion where paparazzi photographed her multiple times wearing a navy blue NYU oversized hoodie.

T-ara’s support for their rising star of a fan is extremely cute, and I have to give the award of best fan to Jiyeon, as I believe outfits speak louder than words.

What do you think of these cute demonstrations of idols to support Korea’s basketball idol?

////////////////////

Top Comments:

“Super cute the way they all showed their support for their fellow idol. Even though he is Korean American I find it extremely cute that there is still a sense of nationalism. Choi fighting!”

“Wish they let someone besides Bully Jiyeon wear the jersey, but happy to see the support for Daniel oppa!”

“I came here after seeing the shoutout from Tiffany, and must admit that Jiyeon took the win on this one. So cute in the oversized Jersey, and I had seen the hoodie pictures before but never knew what the leaders meant. Great noticing author-nim!”

Daniel stared at the large picture of Jiyeon inserted into the article.

She was wearing his oversized Jersey with short-shorts underneath, the oversized jersey acting more as a dress than an actual jersey.

Of course she was stunning in it, just as he had imagined she would look.

But why was she wearing it? He knew she still considered him a friend, but it seemed like it was too much. The hoodie too? Why was she still wearing that?

“Isn’t that crazy?” Jenny exclaimed excitedly as he read through the article. “Everyone is cheering for you oppa.”

“Yes.” Daniel answered still lost in thought.

“So now.” She changed her tone, returning to the serious conversation he had brushed off before. “Talk to me before you leave.”

Daniel saw that the door had already been closed.

“Come on, you used to talk to me all the time.” Jenny begged cutely.

He wondered how the adorable little 15 year old had blossomed into the pretty 17 year old girl.

Daniel wondered how to begin, she deserved to know. He trusted her.

He knew that when it mattered she would keep secrets.

“I am worried for you oppa, and although Omma and Appa won’t say it, they are worried too, you aren’t the same ever since you came back.” She told him, clearly distressed.

“In Korea, I had my heart broken.” He began.

“Really? By who?” She questioned. “Was that why you stayed longer?”

Daniel nodded his head.

“Was it by Jiyeon-si?”

Daniel immediately turned around to face her sister. His jaw dropped at how insane of a statement he had just heard. How could she possibly know?

“How? What!” He couldn’t explain how surprised he was.

“Well, actually oppa, I took your phone once and saw you had messages from a girl named Jiyeon who had her picture as a profile pic.” She explained.

“I thought it was crazy, so I just threw it to the back of my head. But then everything started to add up three months ago.”

“You shouted out T-ara on the TV broadcast, then you went to Korea to meet someone, and I figured it was a girl named Jiyeon, but I never thought it was the idol… until I saw the picture."

"Oppa, how else does she have the same NYU hoodie as you always wear? Or a Jersey that looks exactly like the one you ‘lost’?”

Daniel nodded understanding how his sister had put the pieces together.

“Yes. I met her a long time ago in Vegas. That was when we first met. Then we started texting.” He recounted the story. “We became close friends and talked on and off, and I guess we finally started really clicking my sophomore year. Then I took the trip.”

“So she went back to Korea to meet you? From Japan?” Her sister questioned blown away.

“Yes, she was visiting her parents that week and everything just worked out. I stayed with her, and on the first day…”

“You SLEPT with PARK JIYEON!” Jenny gasped.

Daniel nudged her forehead with his finger.

“No, stupid I kissed her.” He sighed embarrassed by her abruptness.

“omo, oppa.” She sighed.

“We started dating, and everything was good. It was like a dream.”

“OF COURSE! It’s Jiyeon-si.” His sister interjected.

“Can you keep it down?” Daniel hushed her annoyed.

“Anyways, a week in… she told me she was done with me. She told me she wanted to stay as friends. And I left.”

Jenny followed his sad gaze. “That’s it?”

“Yes.”

“oppa…” She suddenly hugged her older brother. “I’m sorry oppa.”

Daniel couldn’t lie he was thankful that he had someone he could tell his story too.

It made it feel more real. Sure he had pictures to prove its existence, but telling it felt good.

“Oppa, sorry to hear that.” She patted him gently on the back.

“I still don’t understand though, everything was going well… and it ended.” Daniel voiced.

Jenny seemed to stare off into the distance pondering an answer.

“Oppa… I don’t want you to think I’m not taking your side, because I’ll always take your side. But... maybe Jiyeon wanted to let each of you focus on what’s important.”

“What do you mean?”

“oppa, you have a whole basketball career waiting for you. And Jiyeon-si is struggling to get through all the hate. Right now. Maybe it’s not the right time. Maybe she wants you to reach your dream.” Daniel was stunned by his sister’s explanation.

It certainly made sense when very little did. But it still didn’t erase the hurt he felt when she coldly told him to  leave.

“I’ve never met her, but I think if I loved someone a lot, I’d want them to achieve their dream.” Jenny revealed.

Daniel suddenly hugged his sister tightly. There were tears once again crawling down his cheeks.

“When did you become so mature huh? My baby sister.”

His sister scoffed, annoyed by his condescending tone.

“Ya! Oppa! I’m only three years younger than you.” She scolded him.

Daniel grinned. “Thanks Jenny.”

“oppa.” She finally released her arms around him.

“Mhm?”

“I want to see pictures.”

Daniel stared at her in surprise.

“I want to see how beautiful she looks next to my ugly brother.” Jenny explained.

Daniel chuckled as he took out his phone. Swiping through the pictures, he did wonder, how such a beautiful girl had ended up staying beside him during that week.

“Wow, she really is so pretty. Is she even wearing make up in that one?”

Daniel shook his head. They were looking at a picture of her after she had just woken up.

It brought back so many happy memories.

He decided at that moment that he’d focus up and achieve his dream.

He’d climb to the top, and there he’d either meet Jiyeon there, or lend a helping hand.

Chapter 11: Wow this is so cool.
I was in the fandom during these times when they actually happened.
All personal opinions aside, the recreation of how the news articles were released is so accurate.
