Steaming Fools.
Love at First Bite
Hayoon, Baekhyun and Jongin were sitting on the floor in the living room of their shared flat, blowing up balloons to decorate the living room in celebration of Sehun’s return from Japan and Baekhyun’s debut musical.
“This is not fair,” Hayoon mumbled as she threw a balloon in Baekhyun’s direction. “I just came back from Japan too, why does only Sehun get a surprise party?”
“Just consider this a welcome back party for you too Sunshine,” Baekhyun replied, blowing an air kiss at her.
Making a motion of slapping the air kiss away, Hayoon pouted softly.
“Then I shouldn’t be helping with decorations should I?”
Jongin scooted closer to her, ruffling her hair softly. His familiar scent of chocolate and cinnamon engulfed her.
“I’ll buy you lunch tomorrow.”
“Stop spoiling her Jongin,” Baekhyun frowned.
“You spoil her all the time too though Baek,” Jongin countered. “And Sehun too. Honestly we all spoil her too much.”
Before Hayoon could say anything in response, the door of their flat swung open. A tired Sehun entered with his luggage trailing behind, having come straight from the airport.
“Missed me?” The male announced as he slid onto the floor, landing his face on Hayoon’s thighs with a soft plop.

“Go wash your hands, We’ll switch on the hot pot so we can start eating.”
Dragging his feet towards the bathroom, Sehun grumbled under his breath about being mistreated. Jongin and Hayoon proceeded to switch on the hot pot and lay out the ingredients. Baekhyun in the meantime took out the beer from the fridge, popping one open for each of them.
“What on earth is this?” Sehun exited the bathroom, holding a llama shaped soap bar.
Looking up from the kitchen table, Hayoon shrugged her shoulders, having never seen the item before. Baekhyun however had a look of recognition in his eyes.
“Oh that’s the custom made soap that Amber has been looking for!” He exclaimed. “Where was it? She’s been looking for it since she moved out.”
“It was poking out from behind the cabinet,” Sehun replied, his expression blank.
“I’ve been living here for 5 months. How did we not find it sooner?” Hayoon’s eyes widened as she stared at the soap.
“I’ll message her later,” Jongin responded. “Have her come and pick it up.”
Sehun placed the soap on the counter, then proceeded to the dinner table, inhaling deeply the scent of the spicy hot pot, his stomach rumbling at the smell of food.
“Why are we having hot pot in summer?” Jongin questioned, wiping a drop of sweat trickling down his jaw.
“Because I said so,” Baekhyun quipped, handing an ice cold beer to each of them. “Cheers!”
Settling down around the hot pot, they all welcomed the cooling effect of the beer. Hearing the pot boiling, Hayoon
