FoolsNever in a million years would anyone expect Taehee to be seen sharing a table with Oh Sehun. Neither did Taehee expect to have Sehun sitting opposite of her, with his phone shoved up to her again, just like yesterday.
“What do you want?” Taehee put her cutlery down and sent the goofy guy with an indifferent look. She was aware that almost everyone in the cafeteria had their eyes on them because Oh Taehee and Oh Sehun just don’t go together. Oh Taehee is the perfect student, while Oh Sehun is just a notorious kid in school. They don’t belong to the same world, so it sparks the curiosity of others to see the two of them talking.
“You lied to me,” Sehun pouted, showing Taehee the random number that she keyed in, “This is not your number, isn’t it? I tried calling and it was some old grandpa who answered the call. Oh Taehee, you are such a tease.”
Taehee eyed the guy and frowned. First of all, there is no way she is going to give Oh Sehun her number because they are not even friends. Secondly, why did Oh Sehun call her? They don’t have anything in common, except their surnames, so Taehee can’t figure why this guy even attempted to call her and talk to her.
“I don’t see why I should give you my number, we are not even close.”
Sehun stood up and occupied the seat next to her, sliding his across the bench to stick his body against her, “Are we close enough now?” He glanced at their physical contact. And Taehee could hear some gasps from the girls behind. Even her best friend, Yujin, was looking like deer in the headlights, probably taken aback by their interaction. Taehee lifted her head to see Sehun’s face at close proximity and she hate to say admit that he is actually quite attractive, despite his lacking character.
“Are you two going to kiss?”
Both Taehee and Sehun turned their heads to Yujin, who seemed to have that anticipation in her eyes as she switched between the two, seeking an answer.
Sehun broke the silence with his chuckle, “I wonder what it would be like to taste the unattainable fruit…”
Taehee knew he was referring to her but she didn’t want to confront him about his words, simply because he wasn’t worth her time and breath. Taehee hates people who are childish, and Sehun happens to be the epitome of it. Before she could react, her phone had landed in the hands of Sehun and even when she tried to snatch her belonging back, Sehun managed to dodge with his broad shoulders, which is something that Yujin can’t stop drooling over.
“Now I have your number, have a good day, Miss President!”
Sehun waved goodbye and joined his usual clique, who were sniggering as they watched the almighty Oh Taehee succumbing to the mischievous lad. Of course Taehee knows the boys that hang around Oh Sehun, because they are the same kind of bad. As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together. She hates seeing the group of obnoxious guys laughing as if it was a funny joke to them, and when Sehun turned around and waved his phone to her, she made sure to roll her eyes at him.<
