It’ s been almost a week since my break up with Yeonmi. The anger in me was now gone but I still felt bad about what happened.
The fact that I lost such a deal made me still furious.

“Joon, you really need to chill” Chanyeol gave me another glass of whiskey. I was already feeling tipsy since I drank some wine for lunch with my parents, at a fancy restaurant.

Minseok took the glass from me and placed it a little bit far, as if I could not reach if I wanted.

“Don’t drink so much.” Minseok complained and by now I couldn’t help but laugh at how protective he was. Chanyeol on the other hand? A child.

“There’s no need to worry Minseok, I can just call my secretary if I’m drunk. She’ll pick me up in the speed of light” Eun Bi’s always this amazing. She’s got everything under control even when she’s not in close range.

One time I was in desperate need of my migraine pills and she had a bunch of them in my inner pocket of my jacket. I still wonder how she managed to shove them in.
Especially when I never mentioned anything to her about my insufferable headaches. It’s really like she knows me better than I even know myself.

“It’s two in the morning Joon, don’t you pity her?” I ignored Minseok and just kept on drinking for the rest of the night.

By now I was not tipsy anymore, I was close to passing out and I could feel it.
The last things I remember was Minseok’s voice trying to keep me up and then a female figure… a blurry vision of a woman… the woman in my dreams.

The time was 03:13 when I received a call on my phone. I was not sleeping, instead I was trying to work on a case Joon Myeon had just received.
By that time I had already drunk a few energy drinks mixed with coffee, a kill for the heart but a really good wake up method.

“Hello, is this Kim Joon Myeon’s secretary?” It was Mr. Kim Min Seok’s voice. I’ve had to talk to him several times about different cases.

“Yes, is there something wrong?” I heard him sigh and small snore was all I needed to know what happened. “He’s drunk, isn’t he? I’m coming over right now, please sent me the address via message and I’ll be there in less than half an hour”

“Thank you Ms. Song, you really know this fool best” yep I indeed know this fool the best. I could even tell his little cute snore apart from anyone.

Once I received the address, I rushed there with my car. From what I know Joon Myeon doesn’t like to use his, if it’s not for business related stuff, so there was not going to be a problem with where his car would be left.

I entered the night club Mr. Kim and his friends were and that’s when I saw him.
His eyes were open now but I could tell from miles how drunk he was.
He’s probably at the level of knowing what he’s doing but not really. He’ll forget everything tomorrow.

“Mr. Kim, I’m here to pick you up” once he saw me his face lit up with a smile and he got up throwing his arms around my neck.

“Eun Bi, I knew you’d come and pick me… but you’re late” I couldn’t help but smile at his clingy and cute drunk self.

A big man becomes a small puppy when drunk, and that’s why I love being beside him. He has so many sides to him that he doesn’t even know.
