Baekhyun watched as the students cleared out the hall for winter break, he would've of went, especially after his father telling him to do so but he never packed his bags, he didn't want to go home.

"Baek, why aren't you going?" Sehun made his way over, slightly concerned.

Baekhyun shrugged, "I don't know." He sighed, although deep down he did know, he didn't want to face his father back at home.

"I never packed, I'm going to miss the train anyway." Baekhyun replied, watching as most of the students left, leaving behind the scattered few who were staying for winter break.

Sehun knew Baekhyun wasn't going to be let off easy for going against his father twice, but there was nothing he could do to change the smaller's mind.

Baekhyun looked around the great hall, his eyes falling on Kyungsoo next to a Ravenclaw prefect, they were chatting intently to one another. Baekhyun couldn't pin point the feeling deep down, it was a mixture of guilt and jealousy, most of him regretting hurting Kyungsoo so much with his words.

He didn't know why but he made his way over, "Hey." Baekhyun spoke up, watching as Kyungsoo looked up, his face tensing into anger.

Kyungsoo didn't reply, he got up soon walking away out the hall.

"Kyungsoo!" Baekhyun shouted over but he didn't look back, he knew there was no point in following him.

"You shouldn't of called him a mudblood." The prefect spoke up.

"Do I know you?" Baekhyun hissed, folding his arms as he looked down at the Ravenclaw.

"I'm Junmyeon." The prefect said, soon standing up, "And I wouldn't get angry with me because I can do further punishments than not being your friend."

"Oh, just off." Baekhyun huffed, turning his back on the prefect that soon followed Kyungsoo out the great hall.

"Prefect troubles?" The familiar deep voice spoke up.

Baekhyun turned to see Chanyeol, "Tell me about it." He sighed.

"Are you staying for winter break?" The taller asked.

"No, I'm on the train right now." Baekhyun replied, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Alright, sorry." Chanyeol chuckled.

Baekhyun had found himself deliberately avoiding the taller after their moment in the courtyard, he regretting telling him all those things but somehow found a little comfort in doing so, he just didn't want Chanyeol to use it against him after all he's done to the Gryffindor.

"Well, all my Gryffindor friends are away." Chanyeol spoke up due to the smaller's silence.

"Oh, so I'm a plan B?"
