The argument with Sehun had to be pushed to the side as exams rolled up, Baekhyun was prepared for the ones he'd already done but it seemed like Chanyeol wasn't.

"I'm gonna fail all my other ones." Chanyeol groaned as he placed one of the many books down, resting his head on the table.

"I'm sure you won't, we got a good mark on our potions assignment." Baekhyun reassured as his eyes scanned over the book in front of him.

"Yeah but that's just potions."

Baekhyun sighed as he brought his eyes up to the hopeless Gryffindor, "Well, what do you want to do when you leave school?" Baekhyun questioned.

Chanyeol brought his head up from the table, furrowing his brows as he thought deeply. If he had to admit, he never thought on what he wanted to be, "I don't know."

Baekhyun sighed, "Chanyeol, in a few months we'll be gone from here."

"Don't remind me," Chanyeol groaned, "I'm not that good at anything."

"Don't be stupid," Baekhyun rolled his eyes, "You're good at Quidditch and potions, you're good at duelling as well."

"No I'm not," Chanyeol sighed, "You practically beat me in everyone of those."

"Do you want to know why?" Baekhyun closed the book in front of him, his eyes focusing on the brown Gryffindor's.

"Why?"

"Because of a stupid overall in potions last year that made me determined to get back at you in any possible way."

"Seriously?" Chanyeol sat up, his brows raising in surprise, "You did all of that because of me?"

"Well," Baekhyun wanted to protest but basically everything he did this year was because of a certain Gryffindor, "Yeah."

"So that's why you were like that towards me?"

Baekhyun rolled his eyes with a small smile, wanting to question Chanyeol on what he mean but he knew exactly how he was towards him, "Yes."

"Oh my god," Chanyeol gasped but a small smile was on his lips, "You literally had me up all night wondering what I did wrong to you!"

"No I never." Baekhyun scoffed, not believing Chanyeol was that affected by it.

"Yes, you did." Chanyeol laughed.

"Well, you had me up all night wondering how to get back at you!" Baekhyun clarified, trying to justify himself slightly.

"I sense a crush." Chanyeol teased as he rose his brows.

"Wha—" Baekhyun lost his words at Chanyeol's sudden statement, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"That you had a crush on me." The Gryffindor grinned.

"Well, not anymore." Baekhyun chuckled as he looked down at the reopened book below him.
