Once Baekhyun turned the corner from the classroom he finally let out the breath he was holding, closing his eyes as he tried to calm his racing heart.

The words just rolled off of his tongue like nothing.

He was angry, yes, but Chanyeol's shocked expression made him feel guilty. He knew that he wasn't overreacting, he had the right to be mad at Chanyeol. It wasn't a stupid class overall anymore, it was his dad — his family.

Baekhyun nodded, forcing a smile, "Sure, I'd rather do this one on my own."

"Really? I thought you'd be over the moon to do it with Chanyeol." Kyungsoo smiled as they began their walk to the library.

"Trouble in paradise?" Kyungsoo said with a grin, "I was dreading having to work with Jongin, he's terrible at potions but he seemed really nice." Kyungsoo spoke up, "He said he needs my help."

"Everyone could use your help in classes," Baekhyun sighed.
