Baekhyuns pov 

The next morning I wake to see the empty space beside me of where chanyeol should be. I quickly sit up and head into the bathroom to do my business before heading out to find the others

Walking into the sitting room I see chanyeol asleep half sitting up with his arm out of his sling but laying on a pillow on his lap for comfort I'm guessing 

I slowly walk in further as Luhan waves me over towards the kitchen.

"Would you like some breakfast I made pancakes and I have some of that tea to settle your stomach?" He whispers 

"Yes please and why is chanyeol out here?" I sit on the stool at the counter as Luhan places some pancakes on a plate in front of me as he boils some water 

"He was is alot of pain last night, he was pacing the floor alot waiting for the painkillers to kick in then he fell asleep" he sits with me and tucks into his own food 

'Where is Sehun?" 

"He was up with Chanyeol all night, but he is gone now to get him stronger painkillers, he will be back shortly" 

"I need to go out today luhan, but I need to be alone" I stand up finishing my food and walk back into my bedroom and quickly get dressed as a shocked luhan follows me 

"Your not going out on your own baek" Luhan grabs my arm making me turn around 

"Lu I need to do this please don't stop me" I grab my coat, keys to my car and my phone as I head out the door.

Once outside I grab my phone and ring Kai

"Hey baek"

"Kai can you meet me?"

"Sure baby I'll be right over" 

"No Kai I'm not at home can you meet me in town at the Starbucks coffee place on the corner"

"Baek what's wrong that your not home?"

"I will explain all when I see you" 

"Ok baek I'll leave now" 

"Thanks Kai see you soon" 

Hanging up the phone I reach the lobby and head out into the carpark and quickly get into my car.

"Well little one we are on our way to see uncle Kai so since you are so good now, can I ask you to stay good and not make mommy sick please" 

After 20 minutes I arrive just as Kai pulls up beside me. Getting out of his car he hugs me as we head inside.

Once we have our orders which is tea for me and a strawberry muffin while Kai just has a coffee, we sit right down the back in the corner away from everyone 

"So what's this all about baek?" Kai sits in front of me sipping his coffee 

"I need your help Kai and I know you will be straight with me, I feel like I shot someone dead and I keep reliving it every second in my head over and over, I had chanyeol nearly die in my arms, I'm scared I'm hurting my baby and I can't even look at chanyeol " I say it all with one breath making Kai just stare at me in shock

"Wow ok breathe and start again slowly" he takes my hand in his leaning in on the table

"I shot my first so called boyfriend dead Kai, secretly I'm so glad I did but I took someone's life away" I begin to cry as the flood gates finally open 

"Oh baek we shouldn't be here talking about all this with people around, come on let's go somewhere private" 

He stands up and takes me by the hand and leads me outside as the other customers look on at me crying and being hurried outside  

Outside Kai opens his passenger side door "get in" he smiles as I climb in with him closing the door and climbing in the drivers side while starting the car 

"Where are we going?" I look as he pulls out of the parking spot and into traffic 

"Just up here a little, I know the perfect spot, don't worry we will come back for your car" he looks at me and smiles as he pulls off the road and onto a dirt track with trees and bushes either side. After a few minutes we pull over and climb out as he rushes around to open my door 

"Now baby let's go" he smirks at me making me slap him on his arm for calling me baby 

"You really need to stop calling me baby D.O will kill you if you keep it up" 

"D.O loves me keeping it up if you know what I mean" he winks as he nudges me 

"I didn't mean that Kai don't be rude" I laugh back at him slapping his arm with my free hand again

"D.O knows I call you baby and he knows he is my one and only baby" we stop walking and he makes me look out ahead 

"Omg this is so beautiful" we sit on the grass and look out at the beautiful row of cherry blossom trees that stretch for what looks like miles 

"I come up here and look out at all this beauty and I also lay down like this" he falls back on his back and closes his eyes 

"I lay here and if you close your eyes you can hear the wind through the trees and if the wind is strong it's like it snows all the pink petals from the trees all over you" 

"Wow that sounds amazing" I lay on my back and close my eyes as we both lay in silence listening to the wind and the busy world around us . After about 15 minutes of no taking I finally break the silence 

"Kai, chanyeol will be scarred for life because of me" I sigh as I feel him move, I open my eyes to see him laying on his side looking at me as he rests his head on his hand 

"Yes he may have a scar but you didn't cause the scar baek, Tj did" 

"I know but if I didn't go the wedding and met chanyeol and dumped Tj none of this would have happened" I close my eyes again and cover my face with one arm 

"Your right it probably wouldn't have happened and you would have still been with a liar and cheater and an abuser and you could be carrying his baby now but also could have been black and blue and probably worse in hospital or even worse again dead, but it did happened and you can't blame yourself on all this baek, TJ shot chanyeol yes but chanyeol is ok now and he loves you and wants to be with you, yes he has scars but chanyeol took them for you so you wouldn't have too baek, your both saving eachother.
