The leader all the girls came to love was born in Seoul on December 18, 1995. She had an odd birthmark, located on her right upper leg, shaped in some weird sort of form. It always glowed a faint blue when she slept, which sometimes caused an immense amount of pain and tears. Her parents went to every hospital at the time, trying to find a cure, but both Nayoung and her family were dismissed as absolute freaks. After a period of isolation, it seemed like the people who had bothered themselves with this issue had already forgotten it.

Nayoung was first introduced to martial arts and forms of combat through TV as a young child. Her parents forbid her from watching shows with fighting, but Nayoung was still able to sneak around and find some sort of way to continue watching those kinds of shows. Although she did realize that violence should be considered only in times of desperation, she found herself oddly attracted to learning this form of kinesthetic art. Whenever she mimicked the behavior of the martial artists on the TV, her birthmark glowed brightly, changing color. Amazingly, even though her birthmark was glowing so brightly, it didn't hurt when Nayoung focused her energy into her goofy attempts at the complex moves on the screen. It was during these moments in Nayoung's childhood that she was fully...truly...happy.

At age 5, Nayoung already had her taste of the underlying corruption in parts of society. She quickly learned that money meant power, which leads to an apparent need to undermine the lives of others. There were spoiled kids in her class, who always treated others, at times even the teachers, with disrespect. They gloated about their massive amounts of wealth, picking on those who weren't as wealthy. Nayoung herself came from one of the wealthier families, however, she just couldn't wrap her head around why being wealthier gave some the right to be superior. Instead, she disregarded the idea as false and took some of the less wealthy kids under her wing, becoming friends with them.
