Time flies when you're having fun. Being anxious was certainly no fun but time still did fly and soon our lectures were done and I found myself walking towards the cafeteria.

Jeonghan and Joshua were sitting at the usual spot.

"Where is everybody?" I enquire as I sit down beside Joshua

"Soonyoung and Wonwoo had some bet so they are at the basketball court." He replies

"Mingyu and DK are playing referee." Jeonghan adds.

I nod and continue with my lunch.

They just had to not be here today! I would have felt at ease with more people.

The three of us talk about random things and no one raises the topic of the party.

Just as I sigh, thanking my stars that Jeonghan and I won't be able to talk right now, Joshua gets up.

"Okay, I'll see you guys later. I have to be somewhere."

"Oh Okay, See ya." I say dishearten.

Should I make up some excuse and leave? No

"So.. How are you doing? Had a major hangover?" Jeonghan breaks the silence

"No, it wasn't bad. You?"

"Thanks to the Advil you left on the nightstand, it was manageable" he smiles

"Well, yeah I thought you might need it." I say, probably going a little red.

"I can't thank you enough for helping me, seriously."

"Oh not at all! That's what friends are here for." I say as he gives me a polite smile.

We sit there not talking for a while. I observe Jeonghan's long, slender fingers as he absentmindedly twirls a spoon, looking somewhere in the distance. He has a slight frown which creates creases on his otherwise smooth, flawles
