[One year later]
“Have you packed all the documents?”
“Yes, Hannie. You helped me organized them, remember?” Seungcheol answers while going through the checklist.
“Are you sure you packed everything?”
Seungcheol looks away from the checklist and smiles before walking across the room towards me. He places his arms around my shoulders and sighs.
“I’ve packed everything besides you.” He smiles, showing his adorable dimple.
I smile sadly and poke my boyfriend’s dimple.
We are in Daegu at Seungcheol’s parent’s place. I am spending the weekend with them in ruse that I could help Seungcheol pack for the three month long exchange program he got selected for. He leaves in four days and as the day of his departure approaches I get needier.
We have hardly spent any time apart since we got together a year ago. And though I am super proud of Seungcheol, I can’t help but be in despair.
“I am going to miss you so much.” I say and begin to tear up for like the third time today.
How am I going to live without my darling, the love of my life beside me?
“Oh sweetheart, I’ll be back before you even realise I am gone.” Cheol hugs me tightly which I know will make me miss him even more.
“I doubt that.” I mumble against his shoulder
There is a knock at the bedroom door and Seungcheol’s brother peeks in giving us a sheepish smile.
“Hey lovebirds, dinner’s ready. We are expecting you downstairs.”
“Yeah, hyung, we’ll be down there in a bit.” Seungcheol replies.
I hide my face as I quickly wipe my tears but of course, Seungmin hyung notices it.
“Aww, is our Hannie crying again?” he walks into the room.
“It’s nothing, hyung.” I try to assure him.
