Seungcheol POV

Working in the library after lectures has become a norm since the beginning of 5th semester. Assignments and papers keep piling up. The projects and classes I have taken up for extra credit increases the work load even more and I have to go for my part time job too, which honestly is the best time of the day. After all, I work as a dog walker!

I stretch, stifling a yawn.

Enough for today.

I shut my laptop and pack my bag. I walk out of the library sluggishly, turning into a corridor to garb a can of coffee from the vending machine. As I reach there I see a long haired boy casually leaning against the vending machine, talking animatedly with someone.

Jeonghan

He doesn’t notice me but the person he is talking to does. I have never seen this person before but I quickly signal him to keep quite.

I slowly move behind Jeonghan and yell in his ear, “Hey!”

“Ah!” Jeonghan gives a surprised yelp and quickly turns towards me.

“ ’Ssup?” I ask him, grinning ear to ear.

“Dude, you nearly killed me.” Jeonghan huffs, pushing his long, dark hair back.

“Haha, well sorry, but it was worth it.” I smile.

Jeonghan tries to look angry but fails miserably as his smile betrays him.  He avoids my eyes and looks down before the person he was talking to clears their throat.

“Oh, Seokmin, this is Seungcheol. He is in my year. And Seungcheol, this is Seokmin, he just started here but I have known him since highschool.” Jeonghan introduces us.

We shake hands and exchange greetings.

“First year, huh? Which classes are you taking?”

“Literature, History and Philosophy. I have taken Political Science too but just for credits. Probably won’t continue with it.”

“Good thinking.”
