Irene looked up at her co-worker, Seulgi before she continued doing here work.

They work under a big organization, SM Corporation. Irene is working as the human resource manager while Seulgi is the head of finance department.

"you've gotten so skinny. you should feed yourself", Seulgi said and took a seat at the empty chair just acrossed Irene and the desk

"hmm, im good", Irene replied nonchalantly

"sure. sure you are. a skinny body, a tired one, eyebags, and all. sure you are good, very healthy indeed", Seulgi said sarcastically

Irene ignored her and just typing on the laptop

"you know, you cant continue being like this Irene"

"..."

"this is not you Irene. i want my old best friend back"

"..."

"Irene-"

"how can i Seulgi? tell me how? im this lifeless without her"

"then why the hell did you ask for a break up with her?"

"i dont know! i cant.. i cant think straight at that time ok?!", Irene said frustratedly and rubbed her face

"i've told you many times. you shouldnt waver just because of Bogum's presence. i mean, yes he was there when Wendy werent. he accompany you and give you attention. but you was just lonely and with him by your side, you took advantage of the situation so you wouldnt feel lonely anymore"

"i just couldnt control myself that time Seulgi. i burst out and-"

"because you're stressing out. you dont talk it out with her. you just simply blurted out how you feel without thinking of her feelings. im sure she is as lonely as you are, and im sure that she miss you too. you should try to understand her too you know. but then again, you lost yourself just because of Bogum was there pursuing you and you thought you like him and he's better than Wendy but no, you were damn wrong"

"i never thought of him being better than Wendy", Irene mumbled lowly

"then what makes you made a stupid decision?", Seulgi asked

"because i was stupid?"

"damn right", Seulgi clicked her tongue and nodded in agreement

Irene sighed heavily and leaned her back against her swivel chair

"i never thought that she would leave", Irene muttered

"honestly, i thought she would commit a suicide instead", Seulgi replied

"yah!", Irene frowned

"what? everyone knows how madly in love she is with you. its not a surprise if she do that"

"you forgot about that. arent you? you forgot how much she loves you that im sure she is willing to give the world to you. dont you think that she being busy with works just because she's working hard for you? for the future of both of you?"

"...", Irene frowned as she thought that Seulgi is right

"sometimes i think Wendy should just fall for me and ask me to be her girlfriend instead. im so confident that i can understand her better than you"

"care to say that again Seulgi sshi?", Irene asked coldly

"she's yours, she's all yours", Seulgi raised up her hands in surrender

"good", Irene glared at her

"geez. you're still possesive even when you had broken up with her", Seulgi said

"i miss her Seulgi. its killing me not to know where she's at and how is she doing. im afraid to ask Krystal. she probably hates me now"

"based on her glare the last time we bumped into her? im sure she is already murdering you with her death glare"

"thanks, that is really helping", Irene said in sarcasm

"you are very much welcome", Seulgi replied innocently

"you know, i once admire you and Taeyeon unnie", Seulgi suddenly said

"and now?", Irene asked

"i think i admire myself more now since i thought you two are smarter than me but guess i was wrong"

"what?"

"you two are just a bunch of idiots who foolishly hurt someone as amazing as Wendy and Jessica unnie. if i were you two, i would treasure them and make sure they'll stick with me forever. moreover, knowing how they have a pure and lovely kind heart", Seulgi said

"you know you're just making this worst for me and i feel even more bad, guilty and stupid"

"good. because you should really feel that for hurting Wendy"

"why are you my best friend again?"

"its fate. bear with it"

"i hate you"

"hmm whatever Bae Joohyun, i'll leave for lunch. if you somehow want to join, call me up", Seulgi said before she left

Irene sighed for the nth times and pulled the drawer as she took out a frame with a picture of her and Wendy

"where are you Seungwan ah? please come back, im sorry", Irene whispered

while outside, Seulgi rubbed her face as she thought about Irene and Wendy. 

even if Seulgi is Irene's bestfriend, she is close with Wendy too since they usually hang out together before.

"Wendy ah. wherever you are, i just hope that one day you will be back again", Seulgi talked to none
