Taeyeon came late for work on the next day. She asked her secretary to go into her office right away

"whats my schedule for today?", Taeyeon asked as she sat down on her swivel chair

"you have only one meeting later at 10. you have nothing in the afternoon and oh, you need to sign this", the secretary said

Taeyeon took the document, read it briefly and nodded

"you've checked the content right?", Taeyeon asked

"yes. if we join the collaboration with that company, we'll get 20% more of profit than we have agreed. so it would be 50/50. its good for the company"

"ok then", Taeyeon signed the paper

"you may go now", Taeyeon said after she gave back the document

"unnie"

Taeyeon lifted up her head slowly when her secretary called her informally

"im saying this not as your secretary but as your friend, your dongsaeng. please, just please.. cheer up. i miss your smile unnie"

"..."

"i just want you to know that. i'll go now unnie"

Taeyeon stared blankly at the door as her secretary closed it after she left

"i forgot how to smile ever since she left, Yoona ah. so how can i smile?", Taeyeon whispered

while outside,

Yoona sighed when she sat down on her chair

"whats with the sad face?"

Yoona looked up to see who's asking her

"Taeyeon unnie. she's in a depression since.. you know"

"yeah. but there is nothing we can do Yoong"

"i know but i feel pity for her even if i know that she deserve the pain", Yoona pouted

"lets just hope for the best"

"yeah. you're right Minho"

during the night, Taeyeon went to have a dinner with her parents at Kim Mansion as her mother called her to come home

"hows work?", Mrs Kim asked her daughter softly when they eat

"good", Taeyeon answered shortly

"did you eat well everyday?", her mother asked again

"hm", Taeyeon nodded 

"did you get the deal with Johnson Company?", her father suddenly asked

"yes"

"good. make sure you give your all with the project"

"yes dad"

"so, are you with someone at the moment?"

"..."

"are you?"

"no"

Mr Kim nodded and sipped his drink

"well. why dont you get someone? you're old enough to settle down now. what happen with Seolhyun?", her father asked boldly

"honey..", Mrs Kim tried to stop his husband

"what? i thought she love Seolhyun so much. she was all over her. so im curious of what happen to her suddenly. you cheated on Jessica. now that she left, whats holding you back? why dont you introduce Seolhyun to us?"

"you dont like her", Taeyeon said

"exactly! i dont. and never will. Jessica Jung is the only one that i want to be my daughter in law. but i cant believe that i have a stupid daughter who become a jerk to Jessica"

"honey stop", Mrs Kim put her palm on top of Mr Kim's hand

"if you treat her better, she wouldnt have left. you even maybe got engage already with her", Mr Kim still continued

"..."

"because of you, i feel ashamed everytime i met with The Jungs. i dont know what to say to them but to apologise all the time on your behalf"

"..."

"what? you cant talk now?", Mr Kim asked

Taeyeon put down the chopstick and stood up

"im sorry. i need to go. thankyou for dinner", Taeyeon still spoke politely and bowed before she left

"how can you do that to our only daughter?", Mrs Kim asked her husband

"i just want to knock some senses into her head. you know she was at fault for cheating. i never raise my daughter to be a cheater", Mr Kim answered

"yes but.. she's hurting so much already. she took all the pain too"

"imagine of what Jessica feel more honey. she's the victim here. she got hurt more"

"i know. and im sad for both of them", Mrs Kim sighed

"i just hope Taeyeon will learn from her mistake", Mr Kim

"are you going to sleep here?"

Taeyeon ignored the question. she was in deep thoughts with her back head leaned against the back rest of the couch, looking up at the ceiling with her blank eyes

"Taeng?"

the other person sighed and sat down next to Taeyeon

"i hate myself Sunny ah"

Sunny looked at Taeyeon when Taeyeon said that

"i hate myself for being confused with my feelings at that time. i hate myself for cheating on her. i hate myself for doing the stupid mistake", Taeyeon said

"how could i be so blind?", Taeyeon asked heavily

"because not everyone is perfect, everyone make mistakes", Sunny said

"just like me. my mistake is to fall in love with my bestfriend", Sunny added and chuckled

Taeyeon then moved her head to the right to look at Sunny

"i never intend to fall for you but i did anyway. so i believe this same goes to you. you never actually want to hurt her but you did hurt her after all", Sunny said

"but you know what? im mad at you for cheating on Jessica", Sunny said again

"i know. everyone are too", Taeyeon mumbled

"i gave up my feelings for you because i know Jessica like you first before i do. i dont fight for you because i know that you like her too. and also i thought you will make her happy and live happily with her. what is this Taeng? if you want to cheat, then cheat with me. why Seolhyun?"

Taeyeon frowned and looked at Sunny in disbelief

"what the hell are you saying Sunny?", Taeyeon asked

"hahahaha just kidding. but really. you shouldnt cheat in the first place", Sunny said

"moreover, you shouldnt let Seolhyun to sway your feelings", Sunny added

"i know ok. i've realised my mistake now", Taeyeon said frustratedly and rubbed her face

Sunny just stared at Taeyeon calmly

"Taeyeon ah"

"yeah?"

"you do love her a lot, arent you?", Sunny asked

Taeyeon sighed heavily and nodded her head

"i thought that i still love Seolhyun when Seolhyun came back. i thought that i.. i want her. but then, after Sica left, i finally realise how much i need her more than i ever imagine and that i only love Sica", Taeyeon replied

"and i miss her so much Sunny ah. so much that it hurts", Taeyeon cried

Sunny hugged Taeyeon and rubbed her back

"i miss her", Taeyeon mumbled while crying in Sunny's embrace

"pabo", Sunny whispered
