Wendy POV

"we did it!!!! yay! we really did it!!!"

I smiled looking at Joy being overjoy as she jumped up and down while hugging Yeri, our co-model and friend. 

"yes! yes we did it! but could you please ugh let me go!", Yeri whined and tried to push Joy

Joy didnt care as she squeezed the hell out of Yeri and refused to let her go. I laughed seeing them and i somehow feel bad for Yeri but i cant help her or i'll be the next victim of Joy's tight hug

"you did well"

I turned around and met with my sister's smile. I hugged her and thanked her sincerely for giving me the opportunity to be a model wearing the highlight of her collection

"im so proud of you, Seungwan ah"

I beamed happily and thanked her again

"its all because of you unnie", i said

"its only the first step. next, you're on your own. i wish you all the best", she said to me

right. im building my own business. its been opened for a year now, i spent a year working at different places and used my salary and all my savings to open up my business last year. 

im glad that everything went smoothly and i dont have much problem on top of that. my business slowly climbing up to beat other businesses. 

only a month ago, i received an invitation for a business occasion and everyone demand for me to reveal myself. but no, im not gonna do it. not yet. 

"Sica, are you still up for the dinner im offering?", Sooyoung unnie came and asked Jessica unnie

"yeah. a promise is a promise", Jessica unnie replied

"Wendy. i'll borrow your sister tonight. you go have dinner with Joy and Yeri. is that ok?", Sooyoung unnie said as she winked at me

I laughed and waved as a gesture that i dont mind at all

"dont worry. Wendy will be good in our hands and i'll make sure she eat just as much as i do", Joy said and placed her arm on my shoulder

"i'll die if i eat as much as you do. you eat like you havent eat for thousand years", i joked

Joy pouted while glaring at me as the rest laughed at what i said

"arasso. just take care, all of you", Jessica unnie said

after bidding goodbye, Joy then dragged me and Yeri as we will go to a restaurant for a dinner together

"im gonna have this, this and this one too. i'll have another side dish as well, give me two of these. oh! that one too, yes. and... this too. i think that should be enough"

Me and Yeri were practically trying to hold our laugh watching the blur face of the waiter as Joy said her order

"dont forget to give me a couple of this too", Joy added

"err, yes ma'am", the waiter write down everything and excused himself after that

"you scare the hell out of him", Yeri said

"what? my stomach need the food and im not gonna say no to it", Joy said as she patted her stomach

"and after all those food you eat, im surprised you still got a good figure", Yeri said

"oh why thank you", Joy said proudly and flipped her hair playfully

Yeri hissed then started to argue with her. I laughed before i looked away, ignoring their endless playful fight. 

I watched the outside view as this restaurant have a transparent glass walls. Its raining, i watch as the rain pouring down the street

I remembered i once protected Irene from the rain when we both forgot to bring umbrella as we took a stroll at the park

I remembered putting my coat on her to cover her more from the rain, place my hand above her head with my other free hand hugging her close to me so she wont slip on the slippery ground

i sighed silently as i continued watching the rain outside

"how are you my love? are you happy there? i hope you are doing well. i miss you, always", i whispered lowly and smiled faintly 

after the dinner, Joy went home with Yeri as they live in one apartment. I went back to the apartment that i've shared with Jessica unnie. 

I took a shower and drying my hair before i my laptop, ready to have a skype with-

"HI WENDY!"

"offt!-"

i jumped as i felt shocked and that caused me to fall from my bed as i was sitting so close at the edge of it

"oww", i rubbed my and pouted before i crawled up to the bed again

"sorry", she giggled as she scratched her head

"just how many times i must tell you not to give me a heart attack like that unnie", i pouted

"im sorry. i cant help it alright? i miss you. anyway, where is your sister?"

"she's out. dinner date", i grinned

"ooohhhh she's doing good there huh"

"hahaha yes Hyo unnie"

thats right. im videochatting with Hyoyeon unnie. we kept in touch ever since me and Jessica unnie left

"who's the lucky person?", she asked

"Soo unnie", i answered

"ah that one"

i nodded. Hyoyeon unnie basically know everything about us here. we told her everything and keep her up to date about our life. she knows who our friends here, what are we doing, etc. 

"so... the usual thing?", Hyoyeon unnie asked

I just smiled and nodded my head

"ooook. she just go to work like always. no lunch outside and i dont know if she had lunch at her office. she went straight home after work. hmm there is one time she went to the park though, but thats it. just that once. i only waited and watched her for like 10 minutes then i left because i have errand to do", Hyoyeon unnie told me

"for the whole week. thats all she do?", i asked curiously

"yep!"

dont she hang out or something? why did her boyfriend doesnt bring her out? i know Irene always like to be indoor but he should try to pursue her for having fun outside too

"whats with the frown Wendy?", Hyoyeon unnie asked me

"ah nothing unnie. thankyou for the info anyway", i thanked her.

yes, even after all this time, i still care about Irene and will always be. thats why i asked a favor from Hyoyeon unnie to update me about her

i cant sleep well if i dont know whats happening there

"also Wendy, is your sister moving on fully now?", Hyoyeon unnie asked

"hmm im not sure but i dont see her cry anymore. except for the first 2 months when we arrived here and thats that", i said honestly

"but she accept to go on a date with..."

"yeah. i dont know about that but i dont see unnie is having this romantic feelings for Soo unnie. not even for Tiffany unnie and Yuri unnie too", i said

"but she's having a good life there. being chased by 3 beautiful girls", Hyoyeon unnie said

"why unnie? do you want me to introduce you to someone beautiful here?", i asked playfully

"nah. i have my eyes on someone here", she replied and grinned

"oh my god! tell me unnie. how does she look like???", i asked excitedly

"well of course she is such a beauty. note that. and hmm, she's kind too. the main point is that she is the popular sweet doctor in Seoul Hospital"

"ah. so a doctor is your type", i wriggled my eyebrows

"nope. just doctor Seohyun is my type", Hyoyeon unnie said

"thats her name? Seohyun. its a sweet name unnie"

"i know. umm.. actually, its the name given for her just for nickname. her real name.. uhh"

i raised my eyebrows as Hyoyeon unnie scratched her bottom lips 

"whats her real name unnie?", i asked

"Seo Joohyun"

"..."

"..."

"its still a sweet name. very sweet indeed", i whispered and smiled 

"yeah her name is same as-"

"Irene. Bae Joohyun, Seo Joohyun. thats close", i chuckled

Hyoyeon unnie smiled at the camera and called my name

"yes unnie?"

"do you still love her, Wendy?"

"it would be a lie to say that i dont"

"..."

"because my love for her has never change"
