On the said day, 

Taeyeon came a little bit early, very much early actually. she came an hour earlier. 

While waiting, she tried to calm herself. She tried to think that everything will be alright. 

"hi. you're early", Jessica said once she has appeared

"yeah", Taeyeon smiled

"do you want to talk right away or-"

"can we order something? lets.. catch up first", Taeyeon suggested and bite her lips as she waited for Jessica's reply

"oh. i dont mind", Jessica shrugged

"great", Taeyeon smiled then called the waiter

"your fav is still the same right?", Taeyeon asked her and Jessica nodded

Jessica watched and listened to Taeyeon ordering the menu for both of them

'you remember', Jessica smiled at her thought

"how are you?", Taeyeon asked

"good, you?", Jessica asked back

"i missed you", Taeyeon said

"..."

"i... im sorry. you left because of me"

"no. its a good thing actually. i have the opportunity to explore more into the business world. and also, im able to stand high and develop my business. New York is great. Wendy do well there too. so there is nothing to be sorry of", Jessica said and smiled

"you two.. are doing well huh?"

"mhm", Jessica nodded

"thats good to hear", Taeyeon mumbled

"hows you? works have been the same or?", Jessica asked

"you know, the same old", Taeyeon replied

"but Sica.. i heard the announcement"

"and?"

"are you and Wendy came back for good then?"

"because of the announcement? that Me, Krys and Wendy will have our fair share in the company? no. just, we came back to sign the document. but im giving all right for Krystal to be the CEO after dad. Wendy still want to focus on her own business too", Jessica said

"so, you're going back to New York?"

"not soon. but yes"

Taeyeon frowned. they paused when the waiter served their food and drinks. 

"i've been reflecting myself when you were not here", Taeyeon said after the waiter left

"and again, i am deeply regret for everything that happen", Taeyeon said

"so i want to apologise to you properly. i cant live peacefully, not without your forgiveness Sica"

"Taeyeon ah"

"so please.. forgive me? i.. i'll do anything. anything just for you to forgive me"

"then stop saying sorry and live happily"

"what?"

"i said it on the letter, didnt i? i told you right? im ok. and i let you go. i want you to be happy. so stop feeling guilty and cheer up", Jessica said

"i..."

"lets forget the past. i mean let bygone be bygone. i forgive you and we're good. lets live our life respectively", Jessica smiled

"why are you so kind after everything i..", Taeyeon looked down

"because revenge is not the solution. hatred is not too. i want to live without regrets. we forgive and forget", Jessica said

"thankyou", Taeyeon smiled

"i've searched for you. didnt expect that you'll be in New York", Taeyeon said

Jessica chuckled

"im a ninja", Jessica joked

'i miss that laugh', Taeyeon thought

"but i dont think i can hide like that anymore since my popularity suddenly rising up. thanks to Krystal. she planned this all and teamed up with dad to announce exclusively about me and Wendy. aish", Jessica pouted

"thats why you chose this corner private spot", Taeyeon said

"yeah. dont really want to gain attention", Jessica shrugged

'she talks to me so casually', Taeyeon thought

"can i ask one question?"

"shoot"

"if i promise to be good and will not repeat the same mistake, will you give me a chance?", Taeyeon asked with her heart beating uncontrollably

Jessica stopped sipping on her drink and slowly put the glass on the table

"Taeyeon ah. i forgive you and all. but i dont think i want to go there again. it wont work, us.. we, we wont work"

"but-"

"i know. its a mistake, and i understand that. but i cant go through another heartbreak from you again"

"i will change and-"

"no"

"Sica"

"we can be friends if you want", Jessica said

"but i still love you", Taeyeon said softly

Jessica looked away and sighed

"Sica, please"

"Taeyeon ah. think about it again. you dont"

"what?"

"you love Seolhyun. you are happy with her. i dont want to force you and let you suffer by being with me. please Taeyeon. lets not do this again", Jessica said

"i dont. well yes i used to love her. and when she came back, i thought i still did but no i dont. not anymore. i never suffer with you Sica. and its my own will to be with you, to accept you", Taeyeon replied

"please. just give me one last chance", Taeyeon pleaded

Jessica looked down and thought so hard

"you forgive me right? lets start over", Taeyeon said

"i cant", Jessica mumbled

"w-what?"

"i cant Taeyeon. i cant give you more than forgiveness. i dont want to start over", Jessica said

"Sica i-"

"thankyou. thankyou if you really love me. but maybe we're just.. not meant to be. for all the time i've been spending at New York, i've been thinking a lot. some things are just not meant for us. like me, you are not meant for me"

"no-"

"Taeyeon ah. look at us. i dont want we two to go through this heartbreak again. once is enough, dont you think?", Jessica asked

"..."

"move on. like how i do. lets just live happily. and be friends", Jessica said

"dont you love me anymore?", Taeyeon asked

"i told you. i-"

"move on? do you?"

"Taeyeon-"

"answer me"

"even if i still love you. im not sure if i want to start over again"

"i cant let you go Sica. i.. i want to fix whats left"

"there is nothing left. we're through. its all in the past. please Taeyeon, lets forget it all. can we?"

"its not that easy"

"all you have to do is try. it will save us from the pain"

Taeyeon shook her head

"no. im not going to give up", Taeyeon said stubbornly

"Taeyeon-"

"sure. you've moved on. you are happy or whatever you say. but i wont forget you. ok if you just want to be friends, lets be friends again, for now. but i will try to win your heart again"

"you cant"

"why cant i? do you have someone else?", Taeyeon asked raising her eyebrows

"yep she does"

Taeyeon and Jessica looked up

"Tiff?"

"hi boo!", Tiffany give her eyesmile 

"wha- how did you-"

"oh. i wanted to surprise you so i came with the earliest flight today and... i tried to call you but you werent answering so i called Wendy instead. since she have to rush, she sent your other sister which is Krystal to pick me up. so she bring me here cause she checked your location using a GPS, obviously, then tada.. here i am", Tiffany explained so long

Jessica blinked her eyes before she frowned then tilted her head in confusion. 

"i think i left my phone in the car but, why did Krystal brought you here again?", Jessica asked

"because Tiffany unnie asked for you", Krystal suddenly appeared out of nowhere with arms crossing and wearing a disguise 

"you didnt tell me you're meeting her", Krystal said coldly

Taeyeon gulped and bowed down a bit

"Krystal-"

"unnie. i have a schedule. so you better bring Fany unnie and the other two to where they should stay", Krystal said

'the other two?', Jessica thought and was about to ask when Tiffany speak up again

"anyway, who are you?", Tiffany asked Taeyeon

before Taeyeon could answer, Krystal already beat her to it

"Kim Taeyeon. the ex girlfriend of my unnie", Krystal said flatly

Tiffany raised her eyebrows then looked at Jessica

"yah. you dont plan to cheat on me, do you?", Tiffany asked Jessica

"huhh???", Jessica is confused while Krystal and Taeyeon turned to look at both Tiffany and Jessica

"hold on. are you my unnie's girlfriend?", Krystal asked Tiffany

"she didnt tell you about me?", Tiffany gasped and clutched her chest

"Jessiiiii, how could youuuu???", Tiffany whined

Jessica groaned and rolled her eyes

"is it true? she is your girlfriend?", Taeyeon asked Jessica

"even if its not, i wont let my unnie to fall for you again", Krystal said coldly

"ouch!"

"i told you to stop blocking my way!"

"but i was first to enter!"

"no! i was!"

"shut up!"

"you shut up too!"

now their attention got caught by the newcomers, well.. obviously its...

"yah! what took you guys so long??? where is my Sica??"

"yeah. where is that baby of mine?"

"Yul? Soo?", Jessica widened her eyes

"SICABABY!!", both Yuri and Sooyoung yelled in happiness as soon as they saw Jessica and rushed to her

"w-wait.. you.. when-"

"oh we're the same flight with Fany", Sooyoung said

"did i forgot to mention that earlier?", Tiffany asked innocently

Jessica rolled her eyes

"Sicababy??", Taeyeon asked

"oh hi. who are you? Sicababy's friend? i am the famous New York model of Blanc and Eclare. the one and only beauty, Choi Sooyoung", Sooyoung introduced herself proudly

"and i am one of the hottest staff in Blanc and Eclare. Kwon Yuri", Yuri did the same

"i forgot to introduce myself. might as well now. my name is Stephanie Hwang, but for short, just Tiffany. i am Jessi's secretary slash girlfriend", Tiffany smirked proudly

"girlfriend???!!!", Sooyoung and Yuri, their reaction was priceless

"what? got a problem with that?", Tiffany asked

"since when????", Sooyoung asked

"Sica! you cant do this to me", Yuri said

"oh god im gonna get dizzy", Krystal mumbled

"Sica..", Taeyeon called for Jessica's attention

"please tell me its not true", Taeyeon said pleadingly

Jessica's heart almost melt seeing Taeyeon's sad eyes. she still have a weak spot for Taeyeon

Krystal looked at the two of them and she knows, she have to quickly bring her sister away

"lets go unnie. i think you two talked about literally everything already right?", Krystal said and grabbed Jessica to stand up

"wait-"

"dont you dare", Krystal glared at Taeyeon when Taeyeon was about to grab Jessica's hand

"whats happening?", Yuri asked cluelessly and Sooyoung shrugged

Jessica doesnt have time to say anything as Krystal dragged her out already

"Kim Taeyeon right?", Tiffany turned to Taeyeon

"its nice to finally see you personally", Tiffany said

"who is she Fany?", Sooyoung asked

"our Jessi's ex girlfriend"

"oh she- wait, what?!"

both Sooyoung and Yuri then looked at Taeyeon

"so you're the one that hurt my Sica?", Sooyoung asked

"i didnt mean to", Taeyeon muttered

"but you still did", Tiffany said

"i-"

"anyway. i have heard enough about what you did to my baby. but.. she is living well without you. so stop bothering her", Tiffany said

"yeah", Sooyoung nodded in agreement

while Yuri just keep quiet and Taeyeon looked down in ashamed

then Tiffany and Sooyoung walked away to leave

"did you regret everything?", Yuri asked Taeyeon

Taeyeon slowly lifted up her head and sighed

"i did. i still do. i wish i could turn back the time", Taeyeon said

"so you still want her?", Yuri asked again

"yes"

"oh. goodluck then"

"huh?"

"cause we're not going to let her go just for her to get hurt by you again", Yuri said

"i-"

"remember me. Yuri. im the first person that you have to go through before you dream of given a chance to be with her again"

"are you her friend?", Taeyeon asked

Yuri smiled and shook her head

"no", Yuri said

"but im hers", Yuri said before leaving Taeyeon in confusion

'her hero, her property. thats who i am', Yuri said in her mind

 

 

"Yuri ahhhh.. do you know how important you are to me?"

"tell me about it"

"you are the best. and i feel protected"

"hahaha what am i? your guard?"

"no. even if i dont see you as a potential lover. i still love you Yul, as someone i cherish too. you are my property, my hero. mine only. arasso? you cant be other's hero. i dont want to share"

"arassoooo.. i wont get mad if you reject me cause i'll be happy to forever be your hero"

 

 

 

Yuri sighed as she remembered the conversation at one time where Jessica got drunk when they went to the bar together

She had confessed to Jessica that night but got rejected, Jessica felt bad so she drink a lot till she got drunk
