Taeyeon POV

times had passed by very fast for the past months. i had gone through 4 straight months in depression. then i was drowning in art, draw and draw for the whole 1 month just to produce one painting for Alex Kruger. 

once i've shown him my work, he hired me immediately and made me an artist. i took another 2 months to think of an idea to create masterpiece before i finally show my new art to him

after he is satisfied with my drawings he decided to hold up a small exhibition to introduce my paintings to the public which surprisingly gained many interests from art enthusiast

Alex Kruger had gave me many opportunity and benefit such as an exclusive apartment to stay which i asked my friends to move in with me too, a driver, a guard and a car. it feels like he spoiled me but no, i'll repay him back by working hard with my own art and gives him profit since im working in a partnership with him

he is like a father figure to me, he cares a lot about me just like his daughter and he even introduce me to his family. Elissa Kruger, his beautiful wife who is very lovely and she is a sweet lady. Elizabeth Kruger, his one and only daughter. 

i get comfortable with Elizabeth due to her playful and cheerful behaviour when she's around. she even get along well with Sunny, Yoona and Minho which makes us all close

Elizabeth or El, as what i have always called her, she is a fashion designer who works under her mother, Aunt Elissa's clothing line named El'Kae (made up randomly)

now its officially been almost 9 months that im here and im happy that everything goes well even with all my friends

"noona. all the info that you want to know are inside", Minho said as he appeared suddenly infront of me

i am at Sunny's bar right now just to chill

"thanks", i thanked him and looked through everything

Minho nodded and excused himself as he went to serve the customers

"i heard from Minho, are you going to see her unnie?", Yoona asked

it seems that Minho told me how i accidentally met Jessica yesterday

"are you sure you can handle it this time if anything?", Sunny butted in and asked

"you know that sooner or later i still have to see her again. we're not going to live here forever", i said

"we just dont want you to be in pain again unnie", Yoona said in concern and Sunny just looked at me

"thankyou for taking care of me, i really appreciate it. and i promise, i will be ok after this. because im gonna make it right and will not make any more mistakes in my life", i assured them

they sighed and nodded

"but just know that we always got your back", Sunny said

i smiled and nodded my head

they then return back to doing their work. so i looked back into the info at the file

"she's going to that fashion show? what a coincidence", i murmured to myself because im going there tonight

Elizabeth have invited me to come to the fashion show to accompany her since Aunt Elissa would be busy

"dont we look cute together?", Elizabeth suddenly asked me as she hugged my arm closer and rested her cheek on my shoulder as she looked at me

"everyone look cute with me because i can create a chemistry just with anyone", i said jokingly

"eww, you're so full of yourself"

"and who's fault was it?", i chuckled and Elizabeth just pouted at me

"Eliz!", just then a lady who's slightly taller than El and me greeted us

"oh hi Drea!", Elizabeth greeted her back

"i want you to meet my other favorite designer as well as a CEO of a classy brand", she said 

"oh sure. where?", Elizabeth asked

"wait here"

"who is it?", i asked Elizabeth

"i dont know", Elizabeth shrugged

"btw, are you going straight home after this?", she asked me

i tucked a few of her hair behind her ear while saying "i think so"

"hi guys. this is her, Jessica Jung"

i stopped breathing for a second, my heart jumped out of shock and pumped so hard, and i.. slowly turned to look at Elizabeth who already exchanged a handshake with her, Jessica and.. Yuri

"oh ya, this is Taeyeon", Elizabeth introduced me

i cleared my throat and make sure to look calm as i faced her

"hi. Taeyeon, Kim Taeyeon", i smiled and offered a handshake

"h-hi", she's stuttering, cute. i hold back my smile and took a breathe silently as her soft hand reached mine

"Yuri", Yuri suddenly reach out her hand which i took gladly for a handshake

"hello Yuri", i said

"Elizabeth is a very close friend of mine, she is the designer too", Drea told Jessica

"i can tell", Jessica replied

"her sense of fashion says it all, right?", Drea laughed and Elizabeth whined at her

"hey. be professional. we're in front of Jessica Jung now", Drea scolded Elizabeth

"Taeyeon. look at her!", Elizabeth whined at me

"shh. you're embarassing", i whispered playfully but they all heard me

"are you two.. an item?", Jessica asked which makes me taken aback while Drea laughed with Elizabeth

"see. everyone thought so. they are so cute with each other right?", Drea said 

"yes we do look cute together. but no, we arent going to be a couple. because she said im not her type but oh well, she is not my type too", Elizabeth said cooly which made me smiled

after that, Elizabeth and Drea got called so they left me with Jessica and Yuri which i dont mind at all

"so, Taeyeon. i dont understand why were you pretending but im sure that you still remember me and mostly Jessica here", Yuri said to me

i raised my eyebrows at her 

"Yul", Jessica said softly and nudged Yuri

"i dont know what do you mean by that but i never say that i dont remember any of you", i said

"but you pretend like you dont remember", Yuri argued

"well. i just dont want to explain so much if ever El asked how did i know you two", i replied

"seriously?", Yuri asked with a frown

i just shrugged my shoulder

"you look happy to stand beside that Elizabeth girl", Yuri suddenly changed the topic

"well Yuri sshi, you must be happy too since you're always near someone who used to be mine", i said boldly

Yuri and Jessica were taken aback by my words but i just smiled calmly

"i hope you both enjoy for your stays here for i dont know how long and please, do enjoy the show", i said then bowed politely

i approached Yuri and put my hand on her shoulder as i squeezed it

"you said this once, i have to go through you first before i can take back my property. well, i hope you're ready because i am", i told Yuri and she just furrowed her eyebrows

then i went to Jessica. i sighed softly as we looked at each other eyes

'i missed you', i said in my head

"its good to see you again. you look gorgeous like always", i said and i can see a faint blush on her cheek

i stepped forward at her and leaned my face closer which made her blinked her eyes repeatedly

"are you with someone currently?", i asked

"n-no"

i smiled widely and feel at ease now

"then, im gonna court you again and i'll make sure this time, i wont get rejected by you and i'll get my one last chance. i'll make it right", i said sincerely

"T-tae about that-"

"ah. we can talk some other time. the show is about to start", i cutted her off

"b-but", i cutted her off again when i hold her hand and bring it to my lips

"we'll talk, some other time. i promise", i said and kissed her hand again

"see you, darling", i winked and chuckled when i saw her blushing

i patted her head gently and nodded my head once at Yuri just to be polite before i left them to find Elizabeth

from afar i can already see Elizabeth throwing a glare at me

"did you just flirt with her?", Elizabeth asked

"yes i did", i answered honestly

"player Kim. dont, just dont"

"what player?"

"ohhh dont even deny it. i've seen how you use your charms to attract like every girls you met!"

"i was giving a fan service you know. but with that Jung, im not. i am really interested in her"

"what? but you guys just met!"

i smiled knowingly and glanced at Jessica and chuckled when i saw her fanning her face using her hand

"love can be insane too sometimes, El"
