Yuri POV

"boss seemed to be spacing out a lot nowdays"

"yeah. she isnt as lively as what she have always been"

"she was not that cheerful to begin with but this time around, its getting worst. i wonder why"

"sigh. what could be wrong with her life that makes her like that?"

i ignored all the talks i hear around at the lobby when i passed by. i went up to Jessica's floor to go to her office

when i reached the top floor, i walked past some cubicles and only bowed a bit to those who saw me to be polite

then i saw Tiffany sitting at her desk, on the phone with i dont know who

she saw me and gestured me to just go since she already know that im here for Jessica

so i went right away to Jessica's office and knocked before i entered

she was reviewing few documents with her glasses on her. i smiled at the sight of her wearing the glasses

"busy?", i asked and sat acrossed her

"mm", she just hummed softly and focused on the documents

i observed her carefully, she looks tired. then i turned my head and saw a notebook, i reached for it and turn the page on

there were many different name of countries and even cities, only a few of it that has been cancelled out

"what is this?", i asked her

she looked at me and saw the notebook in my hands. she frowned and reached out her hand to show her palm so i give the notebook to her

she sighed and put the notebook inside the drawer

"its already 12? i didnt know times passed so quickly", she said and closed all documents and took off her glasses

"shall we go for lunch now?", she asked and stood up

she grabbed her purse and walked towards the door but i stopped her by holding her wrist and turned her around to face me

"are you.. searching for her?", i asked

"i dont know what-"

"dont play dumb with me Sica. please", i cutted her off

"you were, arent you? you're searching for her", i said

"i do it for Hyo. i dont like seeing her being sad. thats all. she's been stressing out finding Taeyeon and-"

"why didnt you tell me earlier?", i asked

"what?"

"you could have ask for my help, you know"

"you're not mad?", she asked

"whats there to be mad about?", i asked her back

"because you guys doesnt really like Taeyeon", she mumbled

i sighed and shook my head

"maybe Tiffany and Sooyoung would not agree for you to search for her since they kinda more angry than i am. but.. not me. ok i was mad too for what she did to you but, i just dont want to hate her anymore since you.. well you already forgive her too", i said

"im sorry", Jessica apologised

i smiled and hugged her

"why sorry? i wasnt mad at you though", i said

"so, any progess about Taeyeon?", i asked once i broke the hug

"no. its hard", Jessica sighed

"i feel bad for Hyo. also for Uncle and Aunt Kim", Jessica said

"hey. its ok. we're going to find Taeyeon for Hyoyeon and her family. alright? i'll help you guys", i said

"really??", Jessica asked me with her eyes glint with hopes

'do you really only want to find her for Hyoyeon?', i asked in my mind

"yeah. really", i smiled

"thankyou!", Jessica hugged me 

i chuckled and patted her back

"lets go for lunch now", i said and intertwined my fingers with hers

"Yul"

"hm?"

i stopped walking when she pecked my cheek

"im so grateful to have you", she said

i looked at her in the eyes and smiled sincerely at her

"me too", i replied

'i'd do anything to make you happy and get your happiness Sica ah', i thought silently

None POV

"so hows Wendy doing?", Tiffany asked Jessica

they are now having lunch together along with Yuri and Sooyoung

"she's fine. she's really reliable. she handled both TJ Group and her new branch here", Jessica answered

"and her ex?", Tiffany asked

"oh. that too. she has been spending more times with Irene. im glad that the both of them are ok now", Jessica said

"btw, Hyoyeon been so busy lately", Sooyoung said

"what? you're sad because you got no partner to play some games?", Tiffany asked Sooyoung

"well duh. thats why im bored. i missed playing games with her", Sooyoung replied

"tsk. thats what you know. eat, play, eat and play", Tiffany shook her head

"what? are you jealous of my activites? if you do, you can always follow you know", Sooyoung joked

"what even", Tiffang snorted

Yuri and Jessica laughed at their bickering

after they finished eating, they went back to their workplace. Yuri went to her department as she got a work to do while Tiffany went to meet a client outside since she handled it on behalf of Jessica

Sooyoung then got no schedule yet so went to go with Jessica at her office

once inside, Jessica told Sooyoung to just sit on the couch and read any magazines she want

but Sooyoung went to backhugged Jessica instead

"Soo-"

"just lets stay like this for a while please", Sooyoung said 

Jessica then sighed and leaned her back against Sooyoung

"Yuri.. i noticed that she rarely bickering with me and Tiffany anymore. she doesnt even took part when we tried to win your attention. did something happen?", Sooyoung asked

Jessica bite her lips as she dont know if she should be honest or not

sensing that Jessica is being hesitate, Sooyoung moved to stand in front of her

"Sicababy", Sooyoung called her sweetly and lifted her chin up

"Yuri.. had confessed officially before. and asked.. the question", Jessica said carefully

"she did???", Sooyoung widened her eyes

"yeah", Jessica nodded weakly

seeing Jessica like that, finally Sooyoung understand

"you rejected her", Sooyoung muttered

"if i.. if i ask you too, would i get the same answer like Yuri?", Sooyoung asked

"Soo..."

"its ok. just tell me. i dont want my feelings to be a burden to you anymore"

"its not a burden Soo"

"then answer me, i need to know Sica"

Jessica rubbed her temple and closed her eyes

"please.. i cant.. i dont want to hurt any of you. dont get me wrong ok. there is nothing wrong with you guys, its just me and-", Jessica was cutted off when Sooyoung cupped her face

"so am i getting a rejection too?", Sooyoung asked

"Soo"

"its fine Sica. i know, ok? but at least, i've tried my best to make you like me back", Sooyoung smiled sadly

"im sorry", Jessica's eyes get watery

"no wonder Yuri had stopped pursuing you. your heart is pretty stubborn. is she being biased towards Taeyeon?", Sooyoung asked in annoyance

"yaaaah", Jessica glared and whined a bit

Sooyoung then chuckled and pinched Jessica's nose playfully

"i still dont like her. alright? i still hate the fact that she cheated on you. but.. if Tiffany wil fail like me and Yuri, then i will try to accept that you only want Taeyeon", Sooyoung said

"what? i dont want anyone and.. why were you mentioning Taeyeon?", Jessica denied

Sooyoung raised her eyebrows and scoffed

"since when did my princess become such a bad liar now huh?", Sooyoung asked and flicked Jessica's forehead

"ouch! owwww!!", Jessica faking a cry

and suddenly the door has opened, Tiffany came in with worried face

"yah! what did you do to my Jessi?", Tiffany scolded Sooyoung before she approached Jessica

"Tiff, Sooyoung is bad", Jessica pouted and hugged Tiffany sideway

"Choi Sooyoung", Tiffany glared at Sooyoung

Sooyoung raised her hands up and shook her head

"i didnt do anything, i swear", Sooyoung denied

"who's a bad liar now?", Jessica asked

"Soo!", Tiffany hissed

"alright alright! im sorry ok? geez. Sicababy, you're playing not fair right now. its 2 versus 1. Tiffany ofcourse will be on your side", Sooyoung sulked

Tiffany and Jessica then blinked their eyes at Sooyoung

"Soo. thats not cute at all", Tiffany said

"yah!", Sooyoung yelled, and get upset

Jessica then burst out laughing while Tiffany just shrugged innocently

"i hate you two", Sooyoung said and stomped outside

but then she opened the door again and peeked her head in

"just kidding, i love you Sicababy but not that ugly Hwang", Sooyoung smirked and left

"how dare her! wait here Jessi. yah Choi Sooyoung!!", Tiffany then chased after Sooyoung who already ran faster to get to the elevator

"aigooo", Jessica giggled and shook her head
