Short Description: When it comes to being in love with his best bro Minseok, Luhan kinda feels like he's at a crossroads. Fortunately, instead of a dead-end, sometimes crossroads can actually lead to two-way streets instead.

It's a Monday morning, and like usual, Luhan and Minseok are walking to this café near their college to get some coffee before their first shared class. Ever since they met at this café five years ago, they've decided to meet up every Monday that they can to drink some coffee and talk about whatever.

But right now as they walk, all that Luhan can think about is his last dream before he woke up this morning. Because this time, his dream-self had just confessed his long-felt, pushed-way-down-in-his-subconscious feelings to dream-Minseok...but then Luhan's alarm woke him up before he could get a response.

So, to put it frankly, things really ing at the moment. Because for all these years, he's been harboring these deep feelings for Minseok but hasn't done anything about it because he doesn't wanna ruin their friendship. But that crush that he had on Minseok when they first met morphed into full-blown love so long ago, and Luhan just doesn't think he can hide his feelings for much longer.

Hence he finds himself at a crossroads.

As he dazedly walks and they turn the usual corner, the café looms in sight and Luhan jolts when he feels Minseok's shoulder bump into his arm. He then looks down at him with raised eyebrows and Minseok looks up with concern.

"Hey, ya doing okay?" Minseok asks.

Luhan just mumbles out a Yeah and they reach the café entrance. Minseok lets out a hum that signals that he's gonna ask him again later before he holds the door open for him as they head inside.

Like always, the place is pretty packed right now but they easily find a table to sit at and so Luhan heads over to it while Minseok gets in line to order their usual drinks. (Two americanos, one regular and one iced because that's how Luhan likes it best.)

When Minseok finally reaches the counter and orders, Luhan checks out his side-profile and instantly thinks back to his latest dream again.

The what-if's just seem to pop up more in his mind from that very dream and he finds it kinda amazing just how long him repressing his feelings had lasted (save for that one time he and Minseok got drunk as hell and he'd confessed to him. Minseok still doesn't remember them even going to that party to this day though).

Now, as Minseok walks over to him with their orders' receipt and Luhan's eyes roam over his figure for a second, he feels even more repressed feelings bubble up to the surface.

"Okay, seriously what's botherin' ya, Lu?" Minseok asks, eyebrows furrowed with concern as he sits down across from him.

Luhan blinks with wider eyes as he realizes how he must've just looked. "Hm? Oh, nothing, yo--just thinkin'."

Minseok frowns. "You said that the last time I asked." He then leans forward a bit. "Seriously, what is it, hm? You've been zoning out a lot for the past few days, and like, I can't even figure out what it could be this time..."

"Really, it's--"

"And don't say 'it's nothing' or I'm gonna drink your freakin' coffee--I swear I will!"

Luhan can't help but let out an amused snort at that and Minseok's eyes sparkle as he smiles a bit. And Luhan just stares, quickly getting enraptured.

"Seriously, Lu--what is it, hm?"

Time seems to move slower as Luhan continues to stare and he squeezes his own thigh as he suddenly imagines leaning in and...

"Um, Minnie?" A voice suddenly calls out and both of them turn their heads towards the coffee counter.

They then look back at each other before Minseok frowns and gets up from his seat. "I still wanna know, okay?" he says before walking away to get their drinks.

Luhan discreetly checks out his as he walks away before he quickly averts his eyes. We're just best bros, he chants in his mind. Just best bros.

So, when Minseok comes back with their drinks and they start taking sips of their americanos, Luhan dodges Minseok's curious questions and swiftly changes the subject. The sigh that Minseok lets out at his question-dodging makes his stomach turn, but he figures that it's the best option right now rather than the alternative of confessing his feelings.

Thankfully, Minseok's used to Luhan looking at his lips as he talks, so he doesn't seem to notice how much Luhan's thinking of kissing the ever-living daylights outta him right now.

That very night, Luhan has another dream with himself and Minseok. Currently, his dream-self and dream-Minseok are on their way to some sorta beach. They're in Minseok's car (though it's different than the one in real life so it's painted bright red and has a sunroof that's pulled back). The wind's blowing in their hair as Minseok drives and somehow sunglasses make it onto their faces as the car zooms by on the freeway.

Then at some point, with one hand still on the wheel, Minseok leans over a bit and turns on his car's radio.

It immediately tunes in to a slow love song and just as they lock eyes, the dream setting changes to him and Minseok already at the beach. Dream-him
