'"Since it's the first day of class, why don't each one of you introduce yourselves? And a bit exposure on why you chose this particular major; psyschology."

Each every one in the class stood up and introduced themselves. Explaining just slightly on why they chose the major and what they hope for in the future. As it was almost reaching Gyu Won's turn, she could feel her heart speeding up as she let out a soft sigh to stop the nervous feeling.

"M-My name is Gyu Won.", she stood up as she spoke in a low voice. "We can't hear you.", the professor spoke as few students in the hall giggled.

She lowered her gaze as she could feel her heart race speeding even faster.

           She cleared and repeated her words, this time clearer. "My name is Lee Gyu Won."

"Lee Gyu Won... Why have you chosen this major?", the professor asked, his eyes gazing right into hers.

"I... chose this major because i've been there.", she spoke, both her eyes glued to the floor. "I've been there when i needed mental help. And my therapist were there. He had helped shape me. He fixed me.", she added more, ths time with a soft smile. "I want to be like him. I want to help other people."

The professor let out an intrigued smile, as his gaze were still directed on her. "Interesting. I'll look forward to seeing you more on my class, Lee Gyu Won."

Gyu Won let out a relieved smile as she sat down.

          She couldn't help but to notice a particular boy who hadn't stop staring at her, even when it was another student's turn.

She couldn't help but to blush at the sight of the boy who let out a smile at her.

Chapter 20

so he grabbed her by her face and planted a kiss by her lips. She was in awe as she couldn't let out a reaction. Baekhyun took the opportunity to deepen the kiss and held her by her face, tilting his head just slightly. 

Upon realizing what was happening, she pushed him abruptly as she eyed him with curiosity all over her face.

              "W-Why,", she spoke, stopping to catch her breath."Why did you kiss me?", She continued, the confusion in her tone were obvious.

Baekhyun were in shock as he stared back. He didn't had the answer for that. So he just stared at her, almost wanting her to figure out the answer by herself.

"Why did you kiss me, Baekhyun?", she repeated herself, her eyes getting teary. Baekhyun were shocked at the sight of her almost crying, but he still couldn't form his thought into words. He couldn't think of an answer.

She lowered her gaze as a single tear fell, lingering down her cheek. "Am I a joke to you, Baekhyun?", She spoke in a soft tone. 

"No! No you're not.", he answered in a heart beat as his gaze were still kept on her face. 

         "Then why do you keep treating me like i'm nothing. You touch me like i don't value. Do you see me only as a replacement of your dead wife?", She asked truthfully, still not looking at Baekhyun. "Because I don't want to be a replacement."

Baekhyun turned his gaze away. He himself were shocked by the statement.

      Now that he thought about it, he had never properly grieved upon her wife's death. Not when his mind were occupied with the thought of Gyu Won and the past. 

"You.... are not a replacement, Gyu.", He answered as she turned her gaze to him. "You are so much more than that.", he added. 

"I can't remember the last time I cried upon the thought of my late wife. And now that I properly think about it, it's all because of you.", He spoke as he let out a sad smile. "Do you think it's possible that...", He spoke as his eyes lingered onto her to see her reaction. "I'm falling inlove with you?"

Her expressions were unreadable as she stared dead into his face. Upon realizing the nonsense he had muttered, he let out a gasp. 

"Gyu, I'm-", He couldn't finish his sentence as Gyu Won pulled him for a tight kiss.

The night sky were filled with bright stars, and the moon stood proudly as it let its shine beam brightly.

          Gyu won has her head laid on Baekhyun's stomach, and Baekhyun finds his hand playing with her hair, lingering at every touch.

"Why did you broke up with me?", she asked. it felt like a heavy burden had winged off her chest. She had asked herself that question everyday for the past 6 year. Every time the question popped in her mind, she would create an answer. And each time, the answer would only cause more burden to her feelings.

He silenced. He couldn't remember why.

"I... can't remember to be honest.", He answered truthfully. She let out a sad laugh upon hearing his answer.

      "That just shows how much I value to you.", she spoke as she got up from her position. Baekhyun sighed as he ruffled his hair in frustration. The air silenced as they both had their backs each other.

"I.. was bored.", he spoke out of the sudden.

She eyed him with wide eyes. "What?", she asked in a sharp tone, wanting him to repeat his word.

"I was bored. I was a child who wanted more thrill, more adventure. After a while our relationship just felt numb. It felt dead. ", he added as his eyes avoided hers. 

"When I got married, it was the same all over again. It was numb again. I yearned for thrill again. I yearned for something. But I couldn't remember what it was. I couldn't remember who could gave me that pure happiness.", He said as Gyu Won lowered her gaze.

"Then I am sure it will be the same with me again.", she spoke with a smile. "You're going to get rid of me again when you're bored.", She added as Baekhyun silenced.

No. He wanted to said. I want to be with you. He couldn't form his thought into proper words, as a result, he was left silenced.

"Your mental health issue...", he changed the topic. "Was it because of me?", he asked in pure curiosity.

She glared into him. "I don't want to talk about it."

Baekhyun slept by the sofa, as Gyu Won had the queen sized bed all by herself. 

              Baekhyun couldn't sleep as he has so much to think about.

He hears Gyu Won sniffling, and he couldn't help but to wonder if Gyu Won was crying.

"Gyu..?", he spoke through the darkness. No answer.

"I'm sorry.", he spoke, not knowing if Gyu Won was asleep or awake. "I'm sorry.", he repeated. "But I had never forgotten the reason why I had fallen in love with you.".

Still no answer. 

Baekhyun got up from the sofa and turned the lights on as he headed toward the bed. Gyu Won had her eyes both tightly closed as Baekhyun sighed. 

"You're not asleep.", He stated.

          "Leave me alone.", she spoke, both her eyes still tightly shut as Baekhyun smiled. 

"Gyu Won,", He spoke as she didn't respond. 

   "Gyu Won, if I ask you to marry me, will you?".
