SOOMI

"oh... Chaemi? i was about to tell you today that she is your fiancee"

*f-fiancee..?*

the next thing she knew was that she started to ran away. passing hoya, passing chaemi, passing the man which was suppossed to be hoya's father and away from everything.

"soomi!!"

she heard a slight scream coming from his room as she escaped but she didn't think of stopping or turning around at the call of her name. no, she didn't want to.

tears that are welled up in her eyes began to slowly roll down her cheeks, her breath stiffled as she accelerated her pace.

her pace wasn't slowing down as she went down the stairs, the maids were giving her a confuse look as they saw her running passing by, but they didn't even try to stop her. they knew she was crying and it was a fact everyone could see.

soomi tried to wipe the tears in her eyes and went out, the next thing she knew was that she was bumping onto someone. with that, she trembled and fell on her knees.

"woah.. sorry" a man voice said. soomi had a hard time not to show her weak side "i.. i'm allright" she wiped off the tears on her cheeks and slowly lifted her head up

"soomi..?" a familiar voice ringed. the guy she bumped onto was myungsoo "did you cry?" she wiped off the tears on her cheeks and slowly lifted her head up

the guy she bumped onto was myungsoo "hey.. did you cry?" he scanned her face. soomi quickly covered her face and stood up "i.. i did not" she mumbled but her sobs was still heard.

myungsoo sighed and looked at the direction of hoya's room in the second floor. he saw hoya was looking down to the two as he put on a worn out face and there was more... myungsoo squinted his eyes to see two familiar figures beside him

*hoya's dad? and...* myungsoo let out a slow gasp *chaemi.. she's here?*

then he looked down to soomi again who tried hard not to cry *maybe that was the reason soomi's crying* myungsoo pulled soomi into his chest and burry her inside his embrace, patting her head softly "shh.. it's fine.. let's get out of here" he whispered then glanced a little at hoya.

hoya slowly closed the curtain of his room and drifted his eyes away from soomi and myungsoo

*what really happened?* myungsoo wondered in his little mind while he slowly walked out of the neighbourhood along with soomi.

myungsoo took her to a cafe near the neighbourhood. soomi was crying and sobbing, there was no sign of stopping but after a few minutes, soomi calmed down and lowered her head.

myungsoo wiped the tears on the sides of her eyes. soomi flinched a little at the touch "your eyes are swollen... you havent cried in a while, euh?" he asked. soomi didn't answer and only smiled.

"feeling better?" myungsoo smiled at her direction while sipping on his americano. soomi gave him a small nod "ne... gomawo" she sniffed. myungsoo gave her an apologetic smile *i wonder why she cried..*

"hyung~" a high pitch voice called, breaking all the silence in the cafe. soomi and myungsoo turned at the voice "ah sungjong-ah" myungsoo smiled, gestured him to come closer

"only sungjong?" another voice called from behind the boy "yeol!" myungsoo couldn't hide his smile.

sungjong and seungyeol raced towards the table "ahaha! i arrived first!" seungyeol beamed, pointing mockingly at the younger "yeol, you're older than him but you act younger than him" myungsoo shook his head.

"what?!" seungyeol gasped, this time, sungjong was the one cracking "see? everyone else thinks the same!" the three laughed and soomi couldn't help but smile too.

just then, the three boys drifted their eyes back to soomi "noona! are you alright?" sungjong asked concernly, quickly sitting down beside her "your eyes are swollen..." sungjong reached for her eyes as she slowly backed away "oh... sorry" sungjong pulled back his hand

a stream of guilt run down inside her "i'm alright" soomi reassured, smiling weakly at the boys. sungjong's and seungyeol's face fell "you don't look alright" seungyeol scanned her face.

myungsoo and seungyeol sat opposite soomi and sungjong. there was an awkward silence for a while before soomi decided to speak "c-chaemi... " she started. the boys looked at her as they waited for her next word "i-is she hoya's fiancee?--"

pause.

the boys face turned gloomy. soomi began to questioned their expression "is.. something wrong?" soomi asked again. seungyeol uncomfortably looked away, sungjong ducked in and myungsoo sighed "s-sorry" soomi suddenly said. the boys looked at her "why are you apologizing?" myungsoo furrowed his eyebrow

soomi gulped in and looked out the window, not bothered to answer. she looked back to the boys "i'm tired today.." she opened her wallet and put out some paper bills "so, i'll be going first" she smiled as she stood up

"w-wait! noona!" sungjong stopped her. soomi turned at the boy "l-let's talk" he said with a concern look "please?". soomi blinked and decided to sit down again.

"c-chaemi.." seungyeol started ".. was his girlfriend". the fact hitted soomi and her face turned stiff "it was before you transferred here" myungsoo looked at her dolefully. soomi's eyes grew bewildered "and now she's his fiancee.."

"but chaemi left hyung!" sungjong snapped. the boys quickly gawked at him, like they're not expecting him to say so  

"she left.. him?" soomi's voice croaked. the boys only gave her a wryly look

"tell me... please" soomi begged.

HOYA

"Appa!" hoya hollered in a furios tone

"Lee Howon, listen to me!" his father fought back with a louder scream. chaemi only stood silently as she watched the two quarell

"since when i had a fiancee?!" hoya gritted his teeth

"since when you had a girlfriend?! i told you not to get one!" his father angrilly screamed.

hoya clenched his fists "it's my life. getting a girlfriend in my problem, not yours!"

chaemi cringed hearing the screams "chaemi-ah.." mr. lee looked at her "ne.. abunim..?" chaemi shivered "i'm sorry, please go home first" he slowly pointed to the door. chaemi awkwardly nodded and left.

after the door closes, his father looked back to him "howon.. i'm very dissapointed in you" hoya lowered his head in dissapointment

"i don't know how you would do it, but i want you to break up with her" hoya lifted his head and looked at his father with disbelief "appa..."

"just break up with her!" he screamed again

"w-wae? appa.. all these times, i've been following everything you ask of me. you want me to study business, i did it. you want me to reach the top 10, i did it. i don't see why you're trying to control my life! i'm not a kid anymore!" hoya frustratedly growled, losing all his temper

mr. lee began to smirk "if you didn't break up with her, you know what will i do, right?" hoya face turned stiff "do you want that girl to experience the same thing that happened to soojung?" hoya gulped in at the thought. no... soomi's going to cry... she's going to suffer...

"no, right?" he reassured. hoya still hardened at the statement "why do you have to do this, appa?" hoya slowly mumbled, his eyes went blank "it's all for you. you and your future" he smirked

*psh.. my future* hoya smirked mockingly *since when did you even care about me? but... still, i won't let him seperate us* hoya looked at his father with his round eyes "i'll do anything but that" hoya said slowly, he sounded very lonely

mr. lee looked at his son sternly "you love her that much?" he snorted. before hoya could answer, mr. lee talked again "oh.. are you going to say the same things your brother told me? she's everything. i'll do everything but that. i'll even risk my life..." he gave hoya a furios glare "you're going to follow your brother's mistake?!" he screamed, causing hoya to winced.

*bang*

the door flew opened and a sight of a man entered in. mr.lee and hoya quickly shifted their eyes back to the figure, a man in his early 20's

"h-hyungnim.." hoya surprisedly looked at the man "oh look who's here? if it isn't dongbangshinki's lee junsu? oh i forgot. you're not a lee anymore... kim junsu" his father blurted in a sarcastic tone.

junsu try to gulp in all the mocking and stared at his father then to hoya "appa.. hoya.." he gulped in

"i'm surprised... the two of you are becoming more and more similar each day" his father said, looking at junsu then to hoya with disgust

"appa..." junsu tone lowered as he began to walk closer to the two "just because i did something wrong in the past, you shouldn't blame everything on hoya" hoya shot his brother a look *what are you trying to do, hyung?*

"just go back to your dorm. i don't want to have any more trouble with your managers and company and.. those complicated matters" his father sighed, crossing his arms.

junsu and his father has a moment of tension for a while. mr. lee scanned junsu up and down and gave him a glare "i don't think i have a son who sing on stages" his father stared at junsu as the boy grew tense

"appa!" hoya hollered, trying to stop the whole quarell

"that's alright, hoya" junsu said in a calmed tone, still locking his eyes on his father "he must be ashamed... for having a son who sing" his eyes went wattery. mr. lee rolled his eyes

"i accept... if you're going to ditch me... but please," junsu started to tear "jebal.. don't ruin his happiness, too" junsu pointed at hoya. hoya jaws dropped, shooking his head slowly *hyung, no...*

their dad smirked at the sight "since when i had rebelious sons?" he pinched his eyebrows together then looked at his two sons "appa.." junsu gulped in "go back to your dorm before i force you" mr lee said in between his gritted teeths. junsu and hoya's face fell

"and you" mr.lee looked at hoya "i don't care how you'd do it. but you MUST break up with her" hoya gulped in, not knowing how to say next "appa! you've crossed the line! we're not your puppets! let us be!" junsu screamed as he went to grabbed mr. lee's collar

hoya and mr. lee went startled. never, in the count of history, junsu had screamed this loud and even grabbed his father's collar. the calmed, bubbly lee junsu...

"lee junsu!" mr.lee eyes glowered as he screamed. suddenly junsu snapped back into his old self and released the collar "i.." junsu began to shake, but it was too late because mr.lee was already mad

"how dare you! go out and never come back!" mr. lee pointed to the door. hoya and junsu stiffened

hoya looked at the chaos. he hated to see their family fought. he hated to see his brother treated that way by his own father. he hated every bits of it

"STOP IT!" hoya screamed, causing mr.lee and junsu looked back at him

"i'll do it.." hoya voice began to tremble with pressure and guilt. "what..? hoya... no" junsu's shoulder deflated as he shook his head slowly.

hoya ignored his brother and looked at mr.lee's direction "promise me that you won't do anything to their family.. don't touch them" hoya stared into his father's eyes. mr.lee slowly smirked and looked at hoya "yes, i promise"

*i'm sorry... this is the only way* hoya sighed.
