INFINITE

soomi walked slowly to the park. the cola in her hands started to lose its cool, she couldnt hide the fact that she's still hurted by the harsh gossips. her eyes baffled as she approached the park, she looked at the 5 boys grouping themselves around the swings. her eyes searched for the crowd but she couldn't spot hoya.

"oh soomi!" seungyeol called as he stepped up from the swing and approached her, myungsoo followed behind him. the rest of the boys are still busy pushing sungjong on the swing "hey seungyeol," she smiled at him then to myungsoo "myungsoo"

"is that for me?" seungyeol eyed the can of cola in her hands, his eyes twinkled as he reached for it "of course it's for hoya" myungsoo yanked him back. seungyeol only pouted "but i'm thirsty.." his eyes still targeted on the can of cola in soomi's hand, striking an aegyo pose.

soomi eyed the can of cola in her hand, it's not cold anymore "i think hoya wouldn't mind if i give it to you" she handed him the can "thankyou soomi! i love you!" seungyeol took the can in her hand and hugged her. soomi's eyes and myungsoo's eyes popped out *what a hyper choding!*

"hey hey hey! you're going to be killed by hyung!" myungsoo hastily splitted the two apart "you made my day, soomi!" without any other thought, he opened the drink as the filling squirted out and wetted his face "gaah!" seungyeol yelped.

soomi let out a big gasp then she began to laugh hard *omo! i forgot that i planned a prank on hoya!* she began to teared, looking at the drenched seungyeol

the boys stopped playing and burst into laughter "soomi jjang!~" dongwoo raised a thumb as he and the boys giggled "ya-yahh! kim soomi!" seungyeol eyes squinted, hissing and cursing.

he flipped his wet, sticky hair and pouted at soomi. soomi couldn't help but laugh louder "sorry seungyeol oppa! that prank was supposed to be played on hoya!" she chukled

"aishh..." seungyeol put on a disgusted face. he shook his head like a dog, spraying the cola all over the place "yuck! stop it!" woohyun hissed running away, seungyeol chased after him like a bull.

soomi giggled then she looked at myungsoo beside her, smiling at the boys. soomi couldn't help but smile too "oppa, you looked very handsome smiling like that" she complimented

myungsoo slightly blush at her words "even more than hoya" myungsoo let out a small giggle and ruffled her hair slightly "you know by saying that, you're saying that i'm a better guy than hoya?" 

"you are.." she said, there wasn't any hint of a joke or sarcartic tone in her voice, myungsoo laughed again *so dense!*

MYUNGSOO

"uhm.. oppa, by the way.. where's hoya?" soomi began to looked around "i didn't see him at all" she puffed her cheek "he's just having a little talk with l.joe just before you came.." myungsoo expression changed, his smile faded as he let out a small sigh

"l.joe oppa? with hoya?" she knew that things couldn't be allright when the two gets together "why are they having a talk? is something wrong?" she asked curiously

"i don't know.. they didn't mention any problems. l.joe just came and asked if he could talk with hoya" myungsoo slid a hand inside his pocket.

soomi's eyes fell to the ground *what's wrong?* her expression become unsecure. myungsoo seemed to realized it too and comfortably gripped on her wrist, gently pulling her away from the park

"let's have some lunch" he smiled, soomi blinked a few times and smiled "but what about the boys?" she looked back to the crazy chodings in the park "they could join us," myungsoo eyed them "later"

soomi nodded and followed myungsoo to the cooking area, myungsoo peeked at her. his expression brightened in instant. *as usual, her mood changes so quick* he matched her pace, walking beside her as the two laughed at the little things.

As long as she smiles, i guess being a friend was enough..

both of them ate the left over ramyun. myungsoo watched as soomi slurped in the noodle happilly *this girl is totally dense or what? she would never knew that two boys are fighting for her. cute* he let out a big grin

HOYA & LJOE

"Like i said, i won't let her go" l.joe repeated. hoya scoffed as he gave l.joe a mocking look "she's with me" hoya walked away pissed *pshh.. soomi would choose me over you, babo* hoya whistled and dissapeared from l.joe's sight

"that's because you threatened her.. " l.joe muttered under his breath *grumble* he felt his stomach "aish.. i just eaten an hour ago" l.joe snickered his nose before walking to the cooking area

SOOMI

"hey! that's mine!" soomi huffed as myungsoo shoved in the rest of the ramyun into his mouth "mian~ want to cook another one?" he asked, soomi nodded agreely "yeah yeah!"

she stood up and tried to find more ramyun packages on the teacher's table. when she was about to reach for a ramyun, another hand also reached for it.

soomi looked up and met eyes with him "l.joe oppa" she smiled, quickly letting go of the ramyun "no no you can have it, i'll take another one" l.joe passed her the ramyun and took another flavour "you're eating alone?" soomi asked "yeah" l.joe smiled "want to join us?" she gave him a smile

"us?" l.joe raised an eyebrow "me and myungsoo was just cooking some ramyun, we're about to cook another one! join us! it's never comfortable to eat alone" soomi beamed.

l.joe's heart is overwhelmed by her presence *just how long am i going to handle this overloaded feelings?* he smiled as he followed behind her

"myungsoo! l.joe oppa wants to join, is that allright?" she looked at myungsoo brightly, then myungsoo peeked to the guy behind her "sure.." he weakly said

l.joe and myungsoo eyes met, there was an uncomfortable aura around the two "hello" myungsoo politely greet him, l.joe replied with a small nod "hello". the two didn't talk much to each other just 'yes' or 'no'

*why is it so quiet?* soomi bit her lips, stirring the ramyun slowly. after a few minutes, the three ate the ramyun silently, none was talking *okay this is so akward* soomi gulped in her last spoonful of ramyun.

"i'll be going first then" myungsoo stood up and walked away, bringing his utensils with him "ah op---" before soomi could call him back, he has already dissapeared "i forgot to say thankyou.." soomi mumbled under her breath.

"okay.." soomi let out a small sigh "see, myungsoo oppa was just like you" soomi smiled, l.joe raised his eyebrow "you both don't talk much to other people, both of you are kind.. unlike that hoya" soomi hissed *why is she comparing me to myungsoo? and why does she mentioned hoya all of the sudden?* l.joe shrugged as he finished his food

"i heard you had a little talk with hoya just earlier today.." soomi and l.joe walked to the bathroom to clean the utensils "eo" l.joe gave her a small answer "did he say stupid stuffs to you oppa?" soomi slowly drenched the water and started to clean the plates and forks.

 before l.joe answers, soomi talked again "hoya is pretty stubborn with his words, he might hurt people with his words.. he's also arrogant and full of himself!" l.joe looked at soomi *when she talked like that it seems that she knew a lot about him* l.joe heart began to ached

"hoya likes to tease, he also acts without thinking.. but he helped me yesterday, so i guess he wasn't very bad either.." soomi shrugged

*hoya.. hoya.. why did she always talk about him?* the weariness reached l.joe, he frustratedly let out a small growl

"hoya----" when soomi was  about to continue, l.joe spun around and pulled her into a hug. soomi stopped and dropped the forks "stop talking about hoya.." l.joe couldn't hold back anymore

soomi looked confused, poking him "l.joe oppa?" l.joe still hugged her tightly "i don't know until when should i keep this to myself.. but i guess i couldn't hold it back anymore.." l.joe slowly whispered on her ears, causing soomi to blush *hold what?---*

"what do you mean oppa? why are you suddenly being like this?" she tried to sound calmed but her tone went awkward *what's with him today? oppa is overly sensitive today..* soomi bit her lips

l.joe slowly released the hug. he scanned her confused face and smiled

" because.. i love you " a soft, gentle voice emerged out. soomi only blink as if she has misheard him "euh?"

"i love you, kim soo mi" l.joe said again, he slowly brushed against her hand as soomi trembled. his touch gave her a tingly feeling, her heart started to beats faster

*is this a confession..?*

the plate she was holding fell onto the ground as it shattered into pieces.

a water droplet rolled down her cheek, just below her glasses. her hands trembled while her visions becomes blurry

"why..?"

she gulped in. she wasn't very sure if what she has just saw and heard was real. it was more like a nightmare, something she wished wasn't real. her heart felt like it was shot.

it hurts..

tears flowed harder, she began to run. where to, she wasn't very sure too.. All she know was that she was trying to run from the reality.

this isn't happenning..
