"she what--?" soomi burst into laughter as she started to tear "shhh!" l.joe hissed but soomi kept on laughing "sorry oppa that was just so funny!" soomi apologized but kept giggling slowly, sunggyu also laughed

"hyung that girl got some nerve!" sunggyu burst out "that's not funny! seriously! she was KISSING a frog, hoping that one day it turns out to be a prince" l.joe still couldn't believe what he saw just outside the cafe this morning "she's so naive" soomi wiped the tears off her face, l.joe looked at her and smiled *like you*

"hyung, you only worked here part time, right?" sunggyu asked "yes, i have school" he said proudly "it must be hard on you" sunggyu said concernly "you skipped classes, dont you?" soomi furrowed her eyebrow "no..." he avoided, but soomi still looked at him giving a 'i don't believe you' face

"okay okay.. maybe i did skipped a FEW classes" he confessed, soomi still looked at him disagree "okay.. maybe SOME classes i really hated" l.joe rolled his eyes

"that's better" soomi giggled "is that so hard to admit that you skip classes? it's not like you're a goody good student" soomi said jokingly. l.joe only rolled his eyes.

suddenly sunggyu's phone rang *ring ring ring* sunggyu quickly answers the phone and sighed "noona.. ye.. which file? oh that one.. ne~" he hung up and looked at soomi "another errand, euh?" soomi raised her eyebrow and sunggyu only nodded

"if only noona wasn't this clumsy.." sunggyu sighed again "so i guess i'll be leaving first" sunggyu stood up "you guys are going to leave or stay?" sunggyu asked as he sling his bag and looked at soomi and l.joe

"stay i guess" soomi smiled. "araeso. i'll be home then" sunggyu nodded and went home

"so.. it was only the two of us now.." l.joe smiled at soomi as she take another sip of her camomile latte "i missed you" l.joe warmly patted soomi's head as soomi smiled "i missed playing with you too!" soomi slightly blushed as she looked at l.joe

"oppa.. you'll never leave me, right?" soomi pouted. l.joe's heart raced "what do you mean..?" his words shivered "you're always be my friend, right?" soomi puffed her cheek as she fiddled with her fingers. l.joe's face fell "oh.. that's what you meant" he mumbled slowly

"what else is there..?" soomi asked bluntly as l.joe shook his head "ani.. oppa will never leave you" he smiled "i don't have much friends.. i'm afraid people will get bored of me" soomi sighed. l.joe spot a cream on the edge of her lips as he wiped them off softly "there's nothing wrong with you"

soomi blushed "oppa if you're this nice i can misstook your kindness.. oppa is kind to everyone" she joked but l.joe hoped it was true. he ran to her innocent face and only smiled *i'm only like this when i'm with you*

for a moment, l.joe and soomi only sat still. not a word they blurted out from their mouth, they only looked at each other and finding the lost memories in each other's eyes.

l.joe looked out of the window "it's raining.." he softly said as his lips curled into a small grin. soomi tilted her head "hmm.. " she eyed the drizzling rain outside "it's like our first meeting" l.joe gently said "oppa?" soomi called him as l.joe looked back at her "mmph?" he raised his eyebrow "gomawo.. " soomi suddenly said, looking warmly at him.

l.joe blinked his eyes, quickly sit straight "why so sudden?" he tried to calm his now noisy heart as he gulped in his caffe latte "i realized that since our first meeting until now, i haven't thanked you enough" soomi giggled "what for?" l.joe asked

"for being my friend.. for being there for me..  for saving me.." she sighed before continuing "for everything" she blushed as she drive back to the old memories. for a moment, l.joe was mesmerized. he watched as soomi ran her fingers through her hair, slightly putting her soft black hair behind her ear.

"but it was you who saved me" l.joe mumbled slowly as he joined her. they both looked onto the glorious days they had in the past "if only if only you was not there at that time, i think i wouldn't be here right now.." she looked sad

"you would be just fine" l.joe gripped on her hand "even if i was not there at that time, you would be just fine. you're a strong girl" l.joe complimented "but still, you are still my saviour" she smiled. l.joe let go of her hand and tried to calm himself. his heart is overwhelmed.

"soomi.. i.." l.joe opened his mouth, his heart was beating loudly "hmm?" soomi raised her eyebrow "soomi.. I.. li---" just before he continued, a man strolled in, loudly banged the door behind him. the customers' attention were drawn to the figure of the man. l.joe closed his mouth and sighed

soomi gasped as her eyes widen "hoya.." her eyes widened. hoya threw in a quick glare at her then to L.joe. he furiously gripped onto soomi's wrist and pulled her away "ouch!" she cussed as hoya tight grip surprised her.

 l.joe quickly stood from his seat "leave her alone" l.joe growled, his once calmed face turned into somewhat.. furious. hoya smirked "what if i don't want to?" hoya still gripped hard her hand

"hoya!" soomi yelped "treat her better, don't go dragging someone like that" l.joe cussed "it's not your problem" hoya glared. the two were having a mental fight, hoya dragged her away as l.joe grabbed soomi's other free hand. hoya glared at l.joe

"dont touch her. stop seeing her. she's mine" he declared, l.joe eyes were full of anger, he approached hoya, about to throw him a punch but then he caught a glance of soomi "oppa.. " she looked at him sadly "dont.." she said.

l.joe looked at her,  then to his surroundings. everyone on the cafe was now looking at him. he cussed slowly before slowly putting his hand down as hoya strike a victory smirk, without saying another word, hoya quickly pulled her out the cafe, leaving l.joe motionless.

"hoya.." l.joe eyed him and soomi who is now dissapearing from his sight "i was a second too late.." he mumbled to himself
