"tell me again why i'm here today" hoya looked at soomi and let out a heavy sigh

"for a little intterogration.." soomi patted his back as hoya sighed again "remember to not make things worse" she whispered to him

the door tilted open and key entered the living room with a tea set. he slowly placed the tea on the table and sat on the sofa opposing hoya and soomi who sat side to side.

"good day, hyung" hoya raised a hand and soomi quickly slapped it down. key cleared his throat and crossed his leg, sipping the tea. soomi and hoya shifted their eyes back to him.

"so.. the-guy-who-called-me-freak is here.." key let out a forced smile and glared at hoya. when hoya opened his mouth to respond, soomi quickly squeezed his hand *don't talk back* she gave him a glare. hoya sighed and leaned back on the sofa

key looked to soomi then to hoya "mind explaining things to me?" he raised an eyebrow

"soomi.. tell me again.. why am i here at the first place?" hoya asked again, whispering slowly at her.

*yeah.. why are you here?* soomi sighed *i guess it was all because of me*

-----------------------flashback (yesterday night) ---------------------

After entering the house, the first thing soomi knew was that a strong light was directed at her "aishh!" she covered her eyes with her hands and dropped her luggage on the floor

"come inside" key said in a deep tone. soomi took her luggage and went inside as told. the house was dark because the lights were turned off and the only light in the house was from the flashlight taemin was holding.

"yah.. taemin" soomi glared at him and the younger only sighed

key lead her inside to the dining table "sit" he ordered. soomi raised an eyebrow "wha--?" she scoffed at the whole awkwarness "sit" he repeated and soomi couldn't help but obeying

"so tell me about it" key furrowed his eyebrow, placing a hand under his chin

"is this some kind of intterogration or.. what?" soomi uncomfortably looked at key, sitting cowardly on the chair in front of key

"more lights, taemin" key ordered, taemin directed the flashlight straight to soomi's face "y-yah!" soomi yelped, covering her eyes "kim taemin! turn it off!" soomi hollered at him

taemin gulped in and about to turn it off but then key gave him a glare and so he stopped his action "key oppa!" soomi screamed at him. key turned around and once again focused his eyes on her.

"say it to my face kim soo mi.." key lowered his voice and she eventually gulped in *what's with this intterogration?!*

"i heard from your teacher that on the third day you dissapeared into the woods and was found in a cottage with a guy named hoya" key squinted his eyes *oh crap* soomi drifted her eyes elsewhere "is that real?" he asked again.

soomi blushed and stood up from her position "it wasn't like that!" key blinked and looked at her "it was only the two of you. a boy and a girl. together all night" key deliberately emphasized each statement.

soomi rolled her eyes "come on oppa! i thought you knew me best!" soomi huffed "you and sunggyu, that's allright. you and l.joe.. that's allright too" soomi raised an eyebrow "what are you talking about----"

key quickly cutted her off "but you and hoya?! that jerk who called me a freak! no! it's not allright!" key howled, banging the table causing soomi and taemin to startledly jumped.

*there goes.. his diva character has burst.. boom!* soomi rolled her eyes again "oppa.. i told you it wasn't like that.." she tried to calm him down

taemin behind him was already shooking his head *bless my hyung*

"where's appa and umma?" soomi scanned the empty house "oh they're on a business trip and they will be home--- hey! youre changing the subject!"

"sit down" key pointed at the chair. hopelessly, soomi decided to follow his order "come on oppa.. we didn't do anything, okay?" she stated repetitively

key fanned himself and blew his bangs "forgive my dongsaeng.." soomi gave him a what the hell look *forgive you!*

"just ask hoya and he'll say the same" soomi leaned back on the chair and crossed her arm "i'm tired.. " she yawned. key made a face and nibbled his chin

"that's a good idea!" key cheered "what? what's the good idea?" soomi fearfully asked him *everytime he said he had a good idea it turns out to be the worst idea..*

"get hoya here tomorrow" he demanded *crap* soomi facepalmed herself "y-you sure hyung?" taemin voice shivered "of course i am! i'm the almighty key anyway" he proudly smiled.

*great..*

*yeah.. it was all because of me* soomi huffed

"start talking" key crossed his arms and leaned back on the sofa

hoya began to talk, "hyung, we're not doing anything. soomi was lost in the forest, chased by a snake, went down a slope and strained her ankle... i was looking for her and it started raining----"

"woah woah woah.. " key cutted him off "this is getting more and more like a fake tale to me! the way you talked so fluent makes me doubt you even more" key looked at hoya suspiciously

"oppa, he was talking the truth" soomi frowned "baby, i'm talking to this man" key sweetly smiled at soomi and changed his facial expression 180' when he looked at hoya "continue talking"

"i was looking for her and it started raining.. so we decided to stay at the cottage until the storm stopped since we can't do anything with her spained ankle" he re-explained annoyedly, trying to be as polite as possible.

key nibbled his chin and squinted his eyes "really?"

hoya blew his hair and began to boil with anger "hyung---" soomi quickly held him back "don't.." hoya looked at soomi and quickly slammed his back on the sofa

"talking about anger management" key sneered mockingly as soomi glared at him "what?" key snorted

"come on, oppa.. you heard it. we didn't do anything. instead, it was hoya who saved me" soomi defended him, she put on an angry face at key.

*did she just..? she's on my side?* hoya eyes softened

"okay okay.. baby, don't get mad" key sipped on his tea again "just stop bugging us with that accident" soomi huffed

key smiled at her "ara.. stop with the huffing" he gestured the two to drink the tea. hoya suspiciously scanned the tea "no poison" key snorted. hoya become more uncomfortable with his statement and only looked at the tea

soomi rolled her eyes and swopped their teas "there, happy?" soomi quickly sipped on the tea with that hoya began to sip on his tea, too

"baby, i thought you liked guys who are dependable and trustworthy.." key looked at hoya with disgust "someone who's certainly.." he scanned hoya up and down ".. not him" he shook his head

*what?!* hoya choked on his tea and gave key an offended look

"don't give me that look" key snorted "oppa.." for the millionth time, soomi sighed "baby, i'll find a guy better than him, okay?" key grinned at you

"hyung!" hoya gave key a quick pouty face "who's your hyung huh?!" key snarled "oppa!" soomi deflated her shoulders "awhh yes baby?" key changed his tone quickly

*i'm going to be sick with all these dramas* she placed a hand on her forehead and shook her head

"hoya if that's what your name was, i just want to make sure of one thing" key turned back to his serious face "yes?" hoya gulped in "do you love her?" key asked

soomi choked at the sudden question and looked at hoya "yes, i love her" soomi studied his face for any sign of joke but there wasnt any in his tone *he's serious about it?* her face reddened

"will you protect her and not make her cry?" key asked again "yes, i will"

*is this a wedding ceremony or what?!* soomi looked at key and hoya with disbelief

"will you stay by her side forever?" key asked. hoya paused fo a while "ye---"

"stop!" soomi screamed causing hoya and key to look at her "you need to go home, right?" soomi looked at hoya as hoya studied her look "i did..?--- ah yes! i need to go home now!" hoya saw a glare in her eyes

"okay then. i'm allright.. for now" key sighed "just remember what you told me today, hoya. if you're about to break that, i'm going to pawned you reaaaaaal hard, hard enough to kill you" key squinted his eyes.

"ye.. ye.." soomi shoved hoya out to the door "thanks.." soomi whispered to him when key wasn't looking "sure, that was really.. " hoya tried to find a word that's not rude but he couldn't "horrible"

"yeah.." soomi agreed "goodbye!" soomi pushed him out "yah!" hoya hollered at her "what?" soomi had her eyes opened wide, looking innocent

"i'm coming all the way here and you just shoved me out like that?" he snorted "then what?"

hoya walked closer to her and hugged her "come to my house tomorrow, eo?" hoya smiled at her "you must" he ruffled her hair before leaving

soomi tidied her hair and looked at him *paying you a visit huh? sounds fun.. let's see what a rich jerk house will be* smiling, soomi went back inside the house
