Chapter 20

“Yunho what does your Umma like?” Jaejoong has his eyes glued to a store window. It was a Saturday and for the first time in a long time, it was the just the two of them. Yunho mother had offered to take Karam to the park, while the two of them made a brief to the office for a brief part of the morning. Before spending the day today, “Would she like something like that?” he pointed out something in the window.

“You don’t need to get her anything?”

“But it’s her birthday and I want to!” Jaejoong told him earning a kiss from Yunho on his forehead.

“She would be happy with anything you pick…..?”

“You said you’d help me pick something…….” Yunho couldn’t help but laugh. “What  are you getting her?” He asked.

“A Holiday, a week away wherever they want to go….!” Yunho told him, Jaejoong end up pouting.

“Hey, what’s that look for….

“I want to get her something great…..” Jaejoong went to the next shop window. He just felt he needed something perfect. Mrs Jung was like another mother to him. She was even there while he had lost with his own confident within his own relationship with her son.

“And you will… you worry too much….?” Yunho told him as he followed after him. The spent three hours walking around. “Hey how about we get lunch and then we can look again. It took Yunho a while to convince Jaejoong about lunch.  During lunch, Jaejoong couldn’t stop thinking ….. “Jaejoong…. please give yourself  a rest, anything you get will be prefect you can even go in on my gift if you want.

“No, I’ll get one myself….I just need something to hit me….”

“Well, I’d prepare if it didn’t hit you.” Yunho looked at him, earning a laugh from Jaejoong before he said.

“You know what I mean…..:” They enjoyed their meal together it was perfect. After they looked around  again, Jaejoong still not about to kind what he liked to give. In the end, he found himself in a craft store. He bought a few item,” earning looks form Yunho. “I hope they’re not for work it the weekend.”

“Here hold these.” They made their way back to Yunho house late that afternoon as Jaejoong want to make a few pit stop in certain place when Yunho became lost in everything he was doing.

For the next three night, Jaejoong hadn’t see Yunho to busy in everything he was doing on Monday morning Jaejoong requested Yunho to pick him up so he could bring stuff over to Yunho. When Jaejoong go in the car that morning he told Yunho, ““I was thinking I could making a birthday dinner for you Umma, Do you think she would like that,

“Perfect……she’d love it ,

“With a cake and everything.? Do you think you could get your dad to distract her tomorrow so I can organise it before they get home?

“I’m sure that’s possible….” Yunho drove to the office with Jaejoong telling him of all his plans. Yunho couldn't help but think Jaejoong maybe be thinking about it too much, but then he realised Jaejoong didn’t have a mother growing up. Much like Karam in a way….  This meant a lot to Jaejoong. And for that reason, Yunho wanted to help Jaejoong in whatever he wanted to do. Eight months together and they were still in each other’s pocket. There were a few rough days but they learned to talk.

When Yunho returned home the next day with Karam he played the toddler on the ground before the toddler ran to the living room to were his toys were stake up., the house smelled amazing as Yunho walked toward to amazing smell. When he though his eyes were playing tricks on him.  An image of Taeyeon in the kitchen over the stove, an amazing cake ready on the stand she uses to do this. With every fruit, he could think of. She turned looking to Yunho with a smile, speaking to him softly.

‘He’s the one….

“You’re home?” the image before Yunho eyes changed to Jaejoong coming toward him.  “I sorry I really messed up your kitchen.” Yunho didn't care about that he couldn’t stop staring at Jaejoong as he spoke before he walked up to Yunho who hands took their way around Jaejoong waist “Jae……” Yunho held onto Jaejoong’s waist with one of his hand while the other placing it on the back of Jaejoong head before pulling him in, he pressed a deep and passionate kiss on Jaejoong’s lips.

"Tell be home soon...

“I love you……Jaejoong.” Yunho whispered his words into Jaejoong’s ears.

“Yunho, I love you too.” Jaejoong returned Yunho’s kiss by pulling him closer, closing the gap between them. The kiss deepens as Yunho’s tongue started to dance in Jaejoong  mouth.

“I want you…...” the words caught Jaejoong off guard. The passion was growing as Yunho mouth words his magic, his arms around his waist holding him. Jaejoong knew they needed to stop. Yunho parents would be back soon. To caught in the moment Yunho almost knocking  the cake of the stand as he held Jaejoong against the counter, in one second their legs were tangled causing them  both to fall to the floor, one of Yunho hand at the back of Jaejoong head as the fell never for one moment stopping the kiss.  They only stopped when they heard a sound… Jaejoong broke the kiss turning to the side looking upon them was Karam and a Changmin. Jaejoong pushed Yunho off himself standing up. He had turned a bright shade of red he turned back to the stove avoiding Yunho and Changmin eyes. Yunho looking to Changmin who was smirking….

“Well lucky what we have here…..”

“You certainly know how to ruin the moment Changmin,” Yunho got up from the floor looking around for his brother.

“I’m not the one in the kitchen of all places trying to get it on….” He laughed, “ Should probably have come home later might have caught you  in the moment. Then again…. God save my eyes, You look like a bunch of teenagers.” Changmin loved teasing his brother. But Jaejoong couldn’t look at the two he was so red in the face, “If you want to have a bit of intimate time I can come back later, tell Umma and Appa the house is a no-go area. I can see you want it badly…. Try not to do it in front of the toddler he's two don’t scar him just yet… that’s for  his teenage years. Just like you had hyung when Umma and Appa had  me,’ Changmin burst out laughing, “Jaejoong Hyung…. tense him for it….he really wanted it… don’t give in to easily.” Changmin blurted out. Jaejoong was mortified.

“Changmin….

“What? I’m leaving… Just wanted to give Jae Hyung some friendly advice…having to deal with your ugly mug he puts up with a lot already, Karam come on let's watch TV let’s leave the teenager to their own devices.” He turned to leave but stopped at the door, “Keep it down, will you? Not like I need to know what you’re doing either…”  When Changmin left Yunho turned to Jaejoong, his eyes said it all….

“Why’d  I have to have a teenage brother…,”

 Mrs Jung loved the family dinner Jaejoong prepared. She told him it was the perfect if for her not having to cook, but Jaejoong family dinner was accompanied with flowers, a cake and one special one he created himself. When Mrs Jung unwrapped the paper her eyes lit up.

“I didn’t know what to get you so…” Jaejoong was fiddling with his hands nervous. What she had unwrapped was a family portrait of her family, Yunho and Changmin in the bath and Mr & Mrs Jung in the front with Karam resting on her lap.

“Did you draw this yourselves…?” Jaejoong nodded.

“Do you like it….?” Mr’s Jung held out his hand to Jaejoong to take.

“Course I do…. no words can decide what this means to me Jaejoong,” she told him. “But don’t think you ever have to buy me anything, having you here is a gift enough for me. You make my son and grandson very happy and that what makes me happy….”

“Well if you had arrived any earlier you would have realised how much you son likes him.” Changmin chipped in earning a glare for Yunho while Mr’s Jung turned looking for more information,

“What I miss….?” Jaejoong turned as red as a tomato. “Tell me……
