There was hands grabbing him and pulling him backwards. His body hit the ground and his elbows bleed as they scraped the pavement. But he didn't get hit. The bus didn't manage to even touch his body. He's still alive and he's not quite happy. 

Hyuk turns and glares at the person who owns the hand; a stranger, slightly tanned and way shorter than him, young too. Maybe he's still in his elementary school. A kid. 

"Hands off! "The VIXX's maknae growls. 

The poor kid look surprised but then a look of determination replace it. He grabs Hyuk's lower arm with both his hands and drags him back into the hospital before pushing him to sit down on a bench near the door. Although Hyuk tried to make him let go, the kid is way too strong for his age. 

"What do you think you're doing?! Let go! "

The kid stares at him like he could see straight into Hyuk's soul and it creeped Hyuk out. That look. 

"Yah! Who do you think you are?!  I'm older than you! "

N was humming to a song when he suddenly remembers something. "Ah, I forgot to buy your ice cream. "He admits. 

Ken pouts jokingly. "But I want ice cream... "

"I'll go buy it now. Do you want ice cream too, Hongbin? "

Hongbin didn't expect N to ask him as well but he did. It feels nice to know that N still notice his existence. "Sure, hyung. "

"Alright. I'll be back. "N says as he walks away. 

Luckily there's a convenience store inside the hospital building so N doesn't have to go far. Once he finished getting some ice cream and was about to go back to Ken's ward, he saw Hyuk sitting near the hospital 's main door with a little boy at his side. And is the red thing staining the elbow of Hyuk's blue shirt blood? 

"What are you doing here? I thought you came with me to visit Jaehwan? "N asks once he approaches them. 

"H-hyung, I--I'm... "Hyuk truly doesn't expect to see N there. 

"Oh,are you this hyung's friend? " the kid asks innocently. 

N nods. "And you are? "

The kid smiles. "Hyungnim, I think you should know that this hyung is suicidal. He tried to kill himself just now. "

"What? "Both N and Hyuk question simultaneously. N because he couldn't believe that the maknae would do such thing and Hyuk because he never thinks himself as suicidal. The thing he did just now was not because he wanted to die, it's because he wants the leader's attention. 

"Hyuk? "N is truly confused. Hyuk remains silent.  

If he made N thinks that he's suicidal, would N finally gives more attention to him? 

The kid stands up. "Please pay more attention to this hyung.  You don't want him to die, do you? "He asks while looking up at N with pure innocence on his face before looking at Hyuk and whispers so that only the maknae heard him. 

"You're wrong. I'm older than you. I've been here longer than you've been alive. "

And Hyuk would never forget that flash of blue in the kid's eyes for the rest of his life.
