Chapter Thirty

Are You Alright?

Previously:

Jaejoong chuckled feeling stupid yet lonely knowing he misses Yoochun and talking to him when he is down. 

The strong knock on the door interrupted his thoughts as he put the brush down to climb the ladder down. 

"Coming!" 

He yelled as he lowered his foot carefully, but the ladder shook hard this time making his foot slip, he lost his balance and felt his body fall down and hit the floor hard before everything went black.

"Jaejoong!!!! JAejoong! Can you hear me?! Jaejoong!" 

A worried voice appeared in his head, a voice his heart longed to hear. 

"Yu... Yunho?" 

"Yes baby! It's me... It's me... open your eyes baby.... please! open your eyes for me!" 

Jaejoong was awaken by those words, he slowly opened his eyes, blinking softly as the light hit his pupils to see Yunho's worried face in front of him.... he looked tense, his eyes were red and wet and showing worry and fear... yet a small relieved smile appeared on his lips. 

"That's good.. That's good... now, can you squeeze my hand?" 

Yunho said with a firmer yet shaky tone. 

'His hand?' 

Jaejoong closed his eyes trying to focus, still feeling a little dizzy and disoriented, then he felt it. 

'He is holding my hand...' 

He tried his best to focus and wrap his weak fingers to squeeze the other's hand. 

"You are doing well... now relax your hand..." 

Yunho said looking back up at the pale man who had is eyes closed. 

"Do you feel any pain anywhere in your body?" 

Yunho asked gently leaning over his head again. 

"Other than my head?" 

Jaejoong whined in a weak voice as he tried to move but he couldn't as pain throbbed in his body. 

"Don't move Joongie.... tell me where does it hurt other than your head?" 

Jaejoong blushed faintly hearing his childhood nickname making him less anxious, feeling Yunho's fingers in his hair checking his head gently. 

"Mmm... m- my hip and my shoulder... " 

He whispered then groaned feeling the pain in his hip and his shoulder when Yuhno was checking them. 

"I don't think you broke any bones but I still have to take you to the hospital... keep your eyes closed if you want but don't fall asleep... I'll go get a pillow..." 

Jaejoong heard the other's hurried footsteps walk away, he tried lifting his right arm slowly and palmed his throbbing head, his left side was stiff and painful to move. 

Hearing Yunho's footstep coming back, he tried to open his eyes but the light was bright that made him flinch a bit as his head throbbed more. 

"Easy there... I'll put the pillow under your head..." 

Yunho said lifting Jaejoong's head gently before laying it back on the pillow. 

"Any pain in your neck?" 

He asked watching the other cringe his face in discomfort.
