Chapter 2
More than a FriendsMr James assigned the class a partner assignment to do over the weekend. It was a short one. Bobby instinctively made his way to Eunhae. They have been partner since middle school whenever there were assignments to do. The teachers didn't allow them to have a partner of the same gender. Before Hanbin could stand up, Chaeyoung was already at his desk.
Yes, Chaeyoung was in the same class as them.
"Shall we partner up?" asked Chaeyoung, while she traced her finger on Hanbin's arm, making the guy uncomfortable.
"Yo Hanbin! Which question would you like to do? I thought of the second one!" Yoonhae said across the class, loud enough for Hanbin and Chaeyoung to hear.
"Sorry Chaeyoung. Yoonhae already asked me beforehand," Hanbin smiled apologetically and walked away.
Chaeyoung blew her fringe in annoyance.
That always one step ahead of me.
"We're going to your house to do the assignment."
"Sounds good. Today?"
"Nope, in 10 years' time."
"Got it."
Hanbin and Yoonhae laughed at their inside jokes.
After school, they made their way to Hanbin's house which was 5 stops away from school by bus. They stopped by a convenience store because Yoonhae wanted to buy ice cream for Hanbin's little sister, herself and Hanbin.
"I'm home, Mum!" said Hanbin and slipped off his shoe. Yoonhaefollowed suit.
"Mother, Yoonhae is here as well!" greeted Yoonhae.
"Eonnie!" Hanbin's sister, Hanbyul, ran towards the older one and jumped to give the older one a big hug.
"Hello cutie, I miss you so much!"
