Chapter 5: She's in love with the old you.

Youngmin finally came home. He was smiling even when he was all sweaty and dirty. He went up stairs and went to take a bath.

“What’s going on with him? He really scares me sometimes” Kwangmin thought. Kwangmin also was really happy for what happened today at school. He couldn’t get Ahjin out of his mind.

*Kwangmin’s flashback*

-      Oppa. I’ve already investigated about the rabbits and everything- Ahjin said smiling.

-      Really? So I will bring my investigation tomorrow. – Kwangmin said smiling.

-      I’m happy that you want to participate on our project. Normally you don’t do this. – Ahjin said excited.

-      Well, I think I realized that you were doing all the work for me. That’s unfair! So I decided to participate this time. – Kwangmin winked.

-      Oppa! You look so cute when you do your aegyo! – Ahjin said giggling and a little blushed. “Omo! She’s blushing! She’s so cute!” Kwangmin thought.

*End of flashback*

Kwangmin was giggling in his room after remembering what happened today when suddenly Youngmin got in his room with his bathrobe and a towel around his head.

-      Chhh… You’re such a Babo. – Youngmin said with a smirk.

-      Yah! What are you doing here in MY room? – Kwangmin said upset.

-      Now is MY room. Remember? – Youngmin said rolling his eyes. - I have something to tell you. Why in the world you were being nice with Ahjin? – Youngmin raised a brow. – Don’t tell me… You like her! – Youngmin said teasing Kwangmin.

-      Anio! We’re just friends. -Kwangmin said.

-      Don’t lie Kwangmin. “I’m in love with that freaking nerd” is all written at your face. – Youngmin said with a smirk.

-      Don’t call her like that! – Kwangmin said mad.

-      Whatever… she’s crazy for me anyway. – Youngmin said arrogantly.

-      No, she’s not. She’s crazy for the old Youngmin. The cute and innocent guy you were before our parents divorced. – Kwangmin said.

-      You mean… the stupid childish guy I was before dad left us. – Youngmin said mad. – You know what? I don’t even care, because she’s still in love with me. She has never been in love with you and when we come back to our normal lives, she’s gonna still be in love with me! Did you get that? – Youngmin screamed and Kwangmin left his room.

Kwangmin started crying on his bed. “He’s wrong. I know her perfectly. She’s in love with the old Youngmin. I will make her fall for me and then I will tell her the truth. If I tell her the truth right now, she won't even give me a chance.” Kwangmin thought.

Then, he walked out of his room decided to go out for a little while. But, when he opened the door he saw Ahjin on the swing. He went behind her and started pushing the swing. Ahjin got scared and turned around to see who was pushing her.

-      Youngmin Oppa! What are you doing here? – Ahjin said smiling.

-      I was taking a walk and I saw you here swinging. – Kwangmin said smiling. Ahjin sat on the swing again and Kwangmin started to push her again.

-      Do you remember we used to do this when we were children? – Ahjin said.

-      Yeah, Kwangmin and you used to sit on the swings and I used to push both of you. – Kwangmin said smiling reminding his childhood memories with his Hyung and Ahjin.

-      You know? I missed this Youngmin Oppa. The kindhearted guy. I’m happy that you are back. This is the best day of my life. I’m so happy! – Ahjin said excited like a little kid.

“I was right. I know her perfectly. She’s in love with the old Youngmin. Aishh I don’t know what to do! If only Youngmin would be in love with her. Even when I would feel miserable, I would feel better because at least she would be happy like she’s right now. And, also Youngmin hyung needs to learn some lessons about being in my position. Mianhe Ahjin. I can’t tell you the truth, not now” Kwangmin thought.

Youngmin, Kwangmin and Ahjin were friends when they were children. But, since the twins’ parents divorced, Youngmin became a cold and egocentric guy while Kwangmin became an introvert and insecure boy.

Ahjin believes that Youngmin is still the same person but it’s all hidden by that “cool” image that he has. Inside Youngmin is a sensitive guy, but he’s so afraid that the people hurt him like his dad did. Kwangmin was more outgoing before his parents got divorced, but after that, Kwangmin lost confidence in him. So, Youngmin got separated from Kwangmin and Ahjin while they both continued being friends.

Youngmin was crying in his room. What Kwangmin said really hurt him. “Chh… she’s in love with the old Youngmin. Of course, because she’s a loser, and she is in love with the loser that I was. When dad left us, I realized that being good with everyone and taking care of the people you know doesn’t even have sense, because that persons will hurt you anyway. So, why to worry about all those people? It’s better to just worry about your own self and that’s all” Youngmin thought.
