Chapter 29: Please don’t die…

Youngmin and Kwangmin went home after visiting Woomin’s grave. Kwangmin was doing homework in his room.

Youngmin was in his room and lay on his bed, he looked at his photo with Woomin that was on his nightstand and sighed. Then, his cell phone rang and he answered it.

-      Yeoboseyo?

-      Hi, Youngmin. -He heard a creepy voice he recognized.

-      C.A.P… -He said frightened.

-      You remember me… - He said. Youngmin’s eyes widened and he got pale. – You have good taste in girls. Your girlfriend is very hot.

-      Gyuwon… -He said shocked.

-      Yes, say hi to your boyfriend sweetie. –He said.

-      Youngmin! Don’t come. Don’t listen to him. –Gyuwon screamed from the other line.

-      Shh… she’s too noisy, but also she’s very beautiful. It would be a pity to kill her, right?

-      Don’t even try to touch her. –Youngmin said angry.

-      I won’t do it if you come to the 15^th street derelict building in fifteen minutes, if you don’t, say goodbye to your precious girl… Oh! And come alone, if you bring someone with you she dies, okay?

-      Ok, I’ll be there. But don’t hurt her –Youngmin said and dropped his phone.

He went out of his house running and took his car keys. He drove to the 15^th street very fast, his hands were sweating.

He entered to the building and went upstairs. He saw Gyuwon with her hands and feet tied, was covered too. C.A.P. was standing in front of her and there were two big men on each of Gyuwon’s sides.

-      Gyuwon-ah! –He screamed and ran toward Gyuwon and kneeled down. She looked at him with teary eyes. He caressed her cheek and uncovered .

-      Are you ok? –Youngmin asked her worried. Gyuwon nodded.

-      Awww… you look so cute together, but guess what? I hate cuteness. –C.A.P. said smirking.

-      Just leave her out of this. She has nothing to be with this. I was the one who got you in jail, if you want to take revenge, do it against me, but get her out of this. –Youngmin said pleading C.A.P. standing in front of her.

-      I see you love her, and that’s exactly why I can’t get her out of this.

-      Kill me if you want. I don’t care, but don’t hurt her please! –he burst out in tears.

-      Don’t worry Youngmin, I’ll kill you… but after you suffer a little. Let’s see what you are able to do for her. –He said smirking and one of the big men took a bat and hit Gyuwon on her stomach. Youngmin turned around and saw bleeding.

-      No! –he screamed and stood in front of Gyuwon, so the man couldn’t hit her again.

-      Let’s start the party. –C.A.P. said smirking and took the bat.

He hit Youngmin’s arm. Youngmin writhe in pain. Then he hit him on his stomach. He was coughing up blood and his arms and legs were weak. C.A.P. went toward Gyuwon to hit her, but Youngmin stood up and grabbed the bat.

C.A.P. pushed him with all his strength and punched him on the face. Then, he grabbed his collar and threw him to the glass wall. Youngmin’s back crashed against the glass making it break and the little pieces of glass embedded in his back.

-      No! Please stop! Please stop! –Gyuwon screamed crying. – Youngmin! –She screamed scared.

He couldn’t breathe and his vision was blurred. His body was all covered of blood.

-      Look at the “strong” Jo Youngmin dying for a stupid girl. You’re so pathetic. –C.A.P. said and kicked him. –Let’s see if you can still defend her. –He said and kissed Gyuwon’s neck.

-      You’re such a jerk. –Gyuwon said and spitted on his face.

-      You’re gonna pay for that precious. –C.A.P. said holding her face.

-      Don’t touch her. –Youngmin said and punched him on the face.

C.A.P. pushed him and he fell on the floor next to Gyuwon.

-      Poor Youngmin… he’s all weak now. C’mon stand up! Stand up! –He said and slapped Gyuwon.-You can’t defend her, as you couldn’t defend Woomin…

Youngmin was trying to stand up. Suddenly, they heard footsteps coming from downstairs. C.A.P took his gun and pointed to them.

-      I told you to come alone! –C.A.P. yelled at Youngmin.

-      I did it… -Youngmin said without breath.

Donghyun, Minwoo and Kwangmin came in with around twenty cops pointing their guns to C.A.P.

-      Bang Min Soo. Put your gun on the floor and your hands where I can see them. –The police chief said.

-      I told you that if you brought someone, I’d kill her. And I’ll keep my promise–C.A.P. said smirking and shot at Gyuwon, but Youngmin moved in front of her and the bullet hit him in the shoulder. The police immediately shot at C.A.P. in his chest.

-      No! Youngmin! –Gyuwon screamed crying. –Youngmin please! You can’t leave me, I love you… -Gyuwon cried anguished.

-      Gyuwon… -Youngmin said quietly looking at her.

-      Hyung!–Kwangmin screamed.

-      Youngmin please be strong! Don’t do this to me! –Gyuwon said sobbing.

-      Someone call an ambulance! –Kwangmin screamed desperate.

Donghyun called an ambulance and the paramedics took him to the hospital. The two men were arrested and C.A.P. died.

 Gyuwon and Kwangmin accompanied him in the ambulance. Donghyun and Minwoo went to the hospital by Donghyun’s car.

Youngmin entered the operating room. Gyuwon was crying and so was Kwangmin. Minwoo and Donghyun arrived running.

-      How is Youngmin? –Donghyun said worried.

-      I don’t know. He just entered the operating room. –Kwangmin said sobbing.

-      Hyung, Youngmin hyung is going to be okay, right? –Minwoo said with teary eyes.

-      Yes Minwoo, he’s going to be okay. –Donghyun said.

The doctor got out of the operating room with a worried face.

-      I’m sorry, but there is a ten percent probability that he may live. –The doctor said. Gyuwon fell on the floor and burst out in tears. Minwoo comforted her.

-      He needs a blood transfusion right now, so we can operate him. He lost a lot of blood. If we don’t transfuse him blood right now, he’ll die. –The doctor said.

-      I’m his twin brother. I can donate him my blood. –Kwangmin said.

-      That’s a big relief. Please come with me quickly we need to operate him as soon as we can. He’s in critical condition right now.

Gyuwon couldn’t stop crying. She was shocked and she couldn’t even speak.

The twins’ mom arrived to the hospital very worried.

-      Kwangmin told me that C.A.P. shot Youngmin. I can’t believe this. Where is my son?–She said crying and desperate.

-      He’s in the operating room. Kwangmin is transfusing his blood to Youngmin. He lost a lot of blood. –Donghyun said looking down.

-      How could this happen to him? How did that criminal get out of jail?

-      We don’t know Mrs. Jo, but he died after he shot Youngmin. One of the police officers shot him.

Suddenly, they saw the doctors moving and panicking at Youngmin’s operating room. They could hear Youngmin’s heart rate lowering. Their eyes widened.

-      Hyung, what is happening? –Minwoo said shocked.
