Chapter 10: I don’t want him to be hurt.

The first period was going to start. Youngmin went to Gyuwon’s locker.

-      Hi! How are you? – He said with a big smile.

Gyuwon turned around to see who was talking to her. “Oh! No! It’s Youngmin… this is so awkward, I hope he has forgotten about the kiss” She thought.

-      Hi! Kwangmin-ah –Gyuwon said.

-      So… do you want me to carry your books? –He asked her.

-      Mmmm… no, thanks. Why would you do that? – She said puzzled.

-      Because you told me you were going to forgive me if I was your slave for two days. –He said smiling.

-      Uuhhh… that! –She said laughing nervously.

“Why is she so nervous? Probably is because of the kiss. Well, actually it wasn’t a kiss kiss, it was just an innocent kiss on my cheek. Why is she so nervous? She should be happy like me” Youngmin thought.

-      I was just kidding about it. You don’t have to be my slave. –Gyuwon said patting his shoulder.

-      No, but I want to. –Youngmin said grabbing her hand.

-      Just go to your class. –Gyuwon said and walked to her class quickly.

Youngmin went to Kwangmin’s locker to pick up his books. Ahjin and Hyunseong were there. Ahjin was surprised because she saw Kwangmin (Youngmin) with Gyuwon.

-      Kwangmin Oppa… -Ahjin said.

-      Neh? –Youngmin said.

-      Are you dating with Gyuwon Unnie? – She asked shyly.

-      We’re actually not dating, but I would like that. –He said.

-      So, you like her… -Ahjin whispered but Youngmin could hear her.

-      Yes, I like her so much. –Youngmin said smiling and noticing Ahjin’s sad face. –Why? Are you jealous? –He said.

-      Anio! I’m happy that you finally found someone like her. I mean… Gyuwon Unnie is perfect for you, she’s intelligent and a good person… -Ahjin said smiling falsely.

-      You’re so cute Ahjin-ah –Youngmin said laughing and pinching her cheeks.

“Ahjin is jealous of Gyuwon, so… she likes Kwangmin? Who would be in love with my nerdy brother? Maybe is because I can’t avoid acting so cool, so she has fallen for me because she thinks I’m Kwangmin” Youngmin thought.

It was recess time, and Kwangmin asked Ahjin to eat with him.

-      Is everything fine? – Kwangmin asked looking at her.

-      Uhh… neh... – Ahjin said looking at her food.

-      But, you haven’t eaten your lunch. –Kwangmin said worried.

-      Youngmin Oppa… - Ahjin said.

-      Neh? –Kwangmin said.

-      It’s just that Kwangmin likes Gyuwon Unnie, and I’m happy about that, but I can’t stop worrying about him. You know he has never dated before. I don’t want him to be hurt. –Ahjin sighed.

“She’s worried about me. Well, actually about hyung, but hypothetically, she’s worried about me” Kwangmin thought.

-      Ahjin-ah, don’t worry about him, he will be fine. And I’m sure, that if someone hurts my dongsaeng I will definitely kill that person. Even when Kwangmin and I don’t have a good relationship, doesn’t mean that I don’t care about him. – Kwangmin said smiling.

-      Gomawo, oppa. –Ahjin said smiling.

-      Oh! By the way, I made this for you. –Kwangmin said giving her a lunchbox.

-      Oh! It’s so cute! Thanks, oppa! –Ahjin said excited.

-      Please eat Ahjin. I don’t want you to get sick. –He said smiling sweetly and Ahjin started eating the lunch that Kwangmin made for her.

“Why am I feeling like this? I should be happy for Oppa, but I’m not. Maybe… he was right, maybe… I’m jealous of her” Ahjin thought.

Meanwhile Youngmin was having lunch with Hyunseong.

-      Is it true that you’re dating with Gyuwon Noona or you just did it for getting Ahjin jealous? –Hyunseong asked Youngmin.

-      No, I like her. I want to date with her. –Youngmin said.

-      But I thought you liked Ahjin. –Hyunseong said.

-      Well, you thought wrong. –Youngmin said annoyed. –You know what? I don’t even know what I am doing here. –Youngmin said and stood up for going to Gyuwon’s table.

-      Kwangmin-ah wait! –Hyunseong said running behind him.

Youngmin stood up next to Gyuwon.

-      Noona, can we talk? – He said smiling.

-      Aishh… what do you want Kwangmin? –Gyuwon rolled her eyes.

-      Just come with me. –Youngmin said and grabbed her wrist.

Gyuwon was going to yell to him, but she also has a reputation to keep, not because of her, but because of her parents. Youngmin grabbed her to the rooftop.

-      Yah! Let go! – Gyuwon said shaking her hand.

-      Ok! Calm down! –Youngmin said.

-      Calm down? What do you think you’re doing? –She yelled angry.

-      I want to have lunch with you. –Youngmin said pointing at his lunchbox. –You told me that I had to be your slave for two days, so you will forgive me. Well, I brought two lunchboxes and I will feed you because I’m your slave. –He said sitting on the floor and extending his lunch.

“I know it’s not as perfect as Kwangmin’s one, but I tried my best” Youngmin thought.

“Chh… what’s that! It’s so cute, but I’m not staying. He can’t get always what he wants” She thought.

-      I’m sorry Kwangmin. But I already told you that I was just kidding about you being my slave. –She said.

Gyuwon turned around and started walking back to the cafeteria.

-      Please stay! –Youngmin said hugging her from behind.

“Youngmin, what are you doing? Are you out of your mind? Why in the world are you begging her?” Youngmin thought.

-      Ok, I will stay. –Gyuwon said taking Youngmin’s hands off her.

“I must be crazy for staying” she thought.

-      Try it! I made it for you! –Youngmin said smiling and he fed her. – Do you like it? – He asked her. She nodded.

-      It’s my turn to feed you now. –Gyuwon said and fed him.

-      It tastes good. I’m not a bad cooker after all, I just need to practice. –Youngmin said smiling arrogantly.

“Aishh… the arrogant Jo Youngmin is back” Gyuwon thought rolling her eyes. Suddenly, Youngmin kissed her cheek. Gyuwon looked at him puzzled.

-      Now, we’re even. You don’t have to feel awkward anymore. –He said smiling.

Gyuwon didn’t answer and just continued eating her lunch.
