Chapter 25: The Prom.

The teacher came in the classroom and everyone sat down on their seats.

-      Class, you know that this is your senior year and graduation is coming. So, the school is making a school trip to Jeju Island for the prom.

Everyone in class was excited and started chatting about the school trip.

-      Silence please! – The teacher shouted. - The school trip will be this Monday, so ask permission to your parents and prepare everything. Now, let’s start with today’s lesson…

Gyuwon wasn’t excited about the prom, she always dreamed of going to the prom with her perfect blue prince, but she knew she had to go with Jeongmin.

It’s Monday and all the class were at the airport. There were two teacher and the school’s principal.

-      Ok, class. You’re going to seat in pairs and when we arrive we’re going to assign your rooms. –The principal said.

Kwangmin and Ahjin sat down together, so Gyuwon and Jeongmin. Donghyun and Minwoo sat in pairs, so that left Youngmin alone.

He sat down on a seat, rested his head and put his earphones. Suddenly, someone pushed his arm lightly.

-      Can I sit here? –a sweet girly voice said. Youngmin opened his eyes and saw Yuri, his ex girlfriend, standing next to him.

-      Yeah… whatever… -he said and put his earphones again.

-      So… how’s your life going? I heard you were sad because of Gyuwon’s relationship with Jeongmin. I know you always had a crush on her… -Yuri said looking at him.

-      That’s none of your business. You can sit next to me but only if you shut up. –Youngmin said still closing his eyes.

-      Ok, but… I wanted to ask you if you wanted to go to the prom with me. –Yuri said pouting.

-      Well, I don’t have someone to go with, and I guess I don’t want to go alone.

-      So, that’s a yes?

-      Yes… -Youngmin sighed and nodded. “I wished I could go with Gyuwon” he thought.

-      Thank you Oppa! –Yuri said excited.

After some hours in the plane, they finally arrived.

-      Oppa, wake up! We’re here! –Ahjin said excited.

-      Aaaaawwwwn … I’m awaken Ahjinnie. –Kwangmin said rubbing his eyes.

-      He he he. Oppa your hair is a mess. –She said fixing his hair.

They got off the plane and the teachers guided them to their rooms.

-      Wow! This is amazing! –Ahjin said taking pictures with her camera.

-      Yes, the view here is so beautiful! –Kwangmin said amazed.

-      Here are the keys of your rooms, you can have fun today. Remember that the prom is at 8 o’clock at the ball room. Tomorrow we’re going to explore the waterfalls. –The teacher said.

Youngmin had reserved a room only for him. The other ones were sharing rooms with other classmates.

Ahjin was with Yoona, one of the girls in her English class. They are good friends.

Kwangmin was with Hyunseong, Donghyun with Minwoo and Gyuwon with Namjoo.

Namjoo was so excited about the prom. Minwoo asked her to be her couple, so she was very excited.

-      Unnie! Let’s go to buy our dresses for the prom! –Namjoo said after unpacking her things.

-      Mmm… ok. –Gyuwon said.

They changed their clothes into a fresh one.

They went to the shopping mall and Namjoo started trying tons of dresses, while Gyuwon was looking for the right dress at the store.

Finally, Namjoo picked a romantic pink dress.

-      Unnie! I love this! What do you think about it? Do you think Minwoo will like it? –She said spinning.

-      Do you like it? –Gyuwon asked her.

-      Yes! I love it! –She said smiling.

-      Well, then I think he’ll love it. –Gyuwon said smiling.

-      Is there any dress you like? –Namjoo asked Gyuwon.

-      Yes, I like this one. I will try it on.

-      Ok, I’ll change and wait you here. –Namjoo said.

Gyuwon tried the dress she picked up. It was a beautiful purple long dress.

-      Wow! Unnie that dress looks so beautiful on you! It fits you perfectly! –Namjoo said amazed.

-      Do you think so? –Gyuwon said looking herself at the mirror.

-      Yes, Jeongmin is gonna love it! –Namjoo said clapping.

-      Yeah… -Gyuwon said and sighed.

They came back to their room to get ready for the prom.

It was the time for the prom and Kwangmin went to Ahjin’s room.

-      Ahjinnie, are you ready? –Kwangmin said knocking the door.

-      Wait… -Ahjin shouted form inside and then opened the door.

She was wearing a romantic watermelon dress.

Kwangmin’s jaw dropped when he saw her.

-      You… look… so … beautiful… tonight. –He said amazed.

-      Thanks, you look so handsome. –She said smiling.

Kwangmin was wearing a tuxedo.

-      Let’s go, lady. –Kwangmin said offering his arm.

-      Let’s go gentleman. –Ahjin said linking her arm to his.

They came in the prom hall.

Youngmin and Yuri were already there. Youngmin was wearing a white tuxedo.

Kwangmin and Ahjin sat down and started talking with each other. The other ones were coming, and finally, Jeongmin and Gyuwon came in.

-      You look so beautiful, Gyuwon-ah. –Jeongmin said smiling.

Gyuwon didn’t answer him, she just looked down. “I always had dreamt with this day my whole life, and now I could spend it with someone I love, you ruined it all. I hate you” Gyuwon thought.

They both came in the hall linking arms. Everyone stared at them, because they were kingkas, actually, Youngmin arrived early to the party because he wanted to avoid all that attention.

Gyuwon was feeling uncomfortable and then, she saw Youngmin was with Yuri. It broke her heart, she thought Youngmin didn’t have a date, but he did.

Even then, Youngmin’s heart was also broken. He still loved Gyuwon and this day was so special for him. He dreamed of coming to the prom with Gyuwon someday, and this was his last chance.

The party started and everyone was dancing.

Gyuwon was watching Youngmin from distance and Jeongmin noticed about it. “You’re still looking at him… but tonight you’re going to be mine” he thought smirking.

-      I’m tired of dancing, let’s go to sit down. –Jeongmin said and Gyuwon followed him.

She sat down and Jeongmin went for the drinks. Suddenly Gyuwon saw Youngmin making out with Yuri. She got shocked and tears started rolling through her eyes.

Jeongmin came with the drinks, but he added some alcohol to Gyuwon’s drink to get her drunk. She would never accept anything that comes from Jeongmin, but she was too shocked and she drank it in one shot.

-      Delicious, I want more. –She stood up and went to the bar.

-      Can you give me a drink please? –She said.

But what she didn’t know was that the barman was C.A.P. and he wanted to prove if Youngmin was really in love with her, because he had been investigating him and some persons told him he was in love with Gyuwon. Actually, he told Jeongmin to get her drunk. Because he knew that if Jeongmin tried to her, Youngmin wasn’t going to allow it.

-      Of course. –He said and gave her another drink with alcohol.
